Anionic polymerizations of four new dual-functionalized styrene and α-methylstyrene derivatives, 3-(4-(4-isopropenylphenoxy)butyl)styrene ( 4 ), 3-(4-(2-isopropenylphenoxy)butyl)-α-methylstyrene ( 5 ), 4-(4-(4-isopropenylphenoxy)butyl)-α-methylstyrene ( 6 ), and 4-(4-(2-vinylphenoxy)butyl)styrene ( 7 ), were carried out in THF at -78 °C with sec-BuLi as an initiator. Both 4 and 5 underwent anionic polymerization in a living manner to quantitatively afford functionalized polystyrenes and poly(α-methylstyrene)s having α-methylstyrene moiety in each monomer unit and precisely controlled chain lengths. On the other hand, insoluble polymers were obtained by the anionic polymerization of 6 and 7 under the same conditions. The positional effect of substituent on anionic polymerization was discussed.  相似文献

Preferentially (105)-oriented SrxBi2+yTa2O9 (SBT) thin films on SiN/SiO2/p-Si(100) prepared by the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method at a temperature as low as 400 °C, which is the lowest process temperature for growing SBT ferroelectric thin films on a silicon nitride film. Excess Bi promotes crystallization of the SBT film. A metal-ferroelectric-nitride-oxide-semiconductor (MFNOS) structure, which is very important in ferroelectric gate memory FET, has been fabricated by depositing the SBT film on silicon nitride-oxide-silicon. The MFNOS structures show capacitance-voltage (C-V) hysteresis corresponding to ferroelectric hysteresis. A memory window of the C-V hysteresis is improved, to be as high as 3.5 V in the SBT(400 nm)/SiNx(7 nm)/SiO2(18 nm)/Si compared with the window of 2.7 V in the SBT(400 nm)/SiO2(27 nm)/Si (MFOS), where the thicknesses of their insulator layers are nearly the same. Little degradation is induced in the C-V characteristics of the SiNx/SiO2/p-Si structure when depositing the SBT film by PLD at low temperature. It is also found that the SiNx layer acts as a diffusion barrier against component atoms in the SBT film during its deposition. Finally, the MFNOS structure prepared at the low temperature is very promising for a next-generation ferroelectric gate memory FET.  相似文献

Thermal ring‐opening polymerization of a uniform macrocyclic ethylene terephthalate dimer with and without catalyst was investigated for the first time. Although polymerization progressed without a catalyst, the reaction was extremely slow and all the products were colored. Various transesterification catalysts were tested for their activity toward this ring‐opening polymerization. Among the various catalysts, 1,3‐dichloro‐1,1,3,3‐tetrabutyldistannoxane exhibited the highest catalytic activity, and a colorless polymer with a weight‐average molecular weight of 36,100 was obtained in 100% yield by heating for 3 min at 200 °C. An ordered polyurethane with a head‐to‐head (H‐H) or tail‐to‐tail (T‐T) content over 95% was prepared by polyaddition reaction of a nonsymmetric monomer, p‐isocyanatobenzyl isocyanate (1) with a symmetric monomer, ethylene glycol (2). The model reactions were studied in detail to demonstrate the feasibility of polymer formation. The polymerization was conducted in THF in the presence of triethylamine (TEA) at 0 °C by slow addition of a half amount of 2 to 1, followed by removing THF and then adding the rest of 2 in DMF at once at 30 °C in the presence of dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTL). The microstructure of the polymer obtained was investigated by 13C NMR spectroscopy, and it was found that the polymer had the expected structural regularity. Telechelic polystyrenes with five benzyl chloride moieties at the polymer end (PSt-E) were prepared by coupling reaction of polystyryllithium with hexakis(4-chloromethyl-phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene ( 4 ). The coupling reaction occurs almost quantitatively and unfavorable side reactions were not operative. When a mole ratio [ 4 ]/[sec-BuLi] = 9.3 was used, polystyrenes with cyclophosphazene carrying five benzyl chloride moieties at the polymer end (PSt-E) were obtained in more than 90% yield, which have narrow and predictable molecular weights (M w/M n = 1.05). A star shaped polystyrene with phosphazene core could also be prepared by using excess polystyryl anions.  相似文献

We have designed and synthesized new types of pyrrole (P)-imidazole (I) polyamide conjugates 1 and 2 possessing a suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid (SAHA) moiety that is a strong inhibitor of histone deacetylase (HDAC). SAHA conjugate 2 was designed to target the promoter region of the p16 tumor suppressor gene. The DNA binding affinity of SAHA conjugate 2 to its target sequence was examined using surface plasmon resonance. HDAC inhibition activity of conjugates 1 and 2 was evaluated using a colorimetric assay. The results demonstrated that even though it possesses the relatively large SAHA moiety, conjugate 2 has high DNA sequence-specific binding properties and moderate HDAC inhibitory activity in vitro. SAHA conjugate 2 was found to cause morphological changes in HeLa cells and to induce selective Histone H3 lysine 9 acetylation.  相似文献

Pyrrole-imidazole (Py-Im) polyamides containing stereospecifically alpha-amino- or alpha-hydroxyl-substituted gamma-aminobutyric acid as a 5'-TG-3' recognition element were synthesized by machine-assisted Fmoc solid-phase synthesis. Their binding properties to predetermined DNA sequences containing a core binding site of 5'-TGCNCA-3'/3'-ACGN'GT-5' (N.N' = A.T, T.A, G.C, and C.G) were then systematically studied by surface plasmon resonance (SPR). SPR results revealed that the pairing of stereospecifically alpha-amino-/alpha-hydroxyl-substituted gamma-aminobutyric acids, (R or S)-alpha,gamma-diaminobutyric acid (gammaRN or gammaSN) and (R or S)-alpha-hydroxyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid (gammaRO or gammaSO), side-by-side with beta-alanine (beta) in such polyamides significantly influenced the DNA binding affinity and recognition specificity of hairpin polyamides in the DNA minor groove compared with beta/beta, beta/gamma, and gamma/beta pairings. More importantly, the polyamide Ac-Im-gammaSO-ImPy-gamma-ImPybetaPy-beta-Dp (beta/gammaSO) favorably binds to a hairpin DNA containing a core binding site of 5'-TGCNCA-3'/3'-ACGN'GT-5' (N.N' = A.T) with dissociation equilibrium constant (K(D)) of 1.9 x 10(-)(7) M over N.N' = T.A with K(D) = 3.7 x 10(-)(6) M, with a 19-fold specificity. By contrast, Ac-Im-gammaSN-ImPy-gamma-ImPybetaPy-beta-Dp (beta/gammaSN) binds to the above sequence with N.N' = A.T with K(D) = 8.7 x 10(-)(7) M over N.N' = T.A with K(D) = 8.4 x 10(-)(6) M, with a 9.6-fold specificity. The results also show that the stereochemistry of the alpha-substituent, as well as the alpha-substituent itself may greatly alter binding affinity and recognition selectivity of hairpin polyamides to different DNA sequences. Further, we carried out molecular modeling studies on the binding by an energy minimization method, suggesting that alpha-hydroxyl is very close to N3 of the 3'-terminal G to induce the formation of hydrogen bonding between hydroxyl and N3 in the recognition event of the polyamide Ac-Im-gammaSO-ImPy-gamma-ImPybetaPy-beta-Dp (beta/gammaSO) to 5'-TGCNCA-3'/3'-ACGN'GT-5' (N.N' = A.T). Therefore, SPR assays and molecular modeling studies collectively suggest that the (S)-alpha-hydroxyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid (gammaSO) may act as a 5'-TG-3' recognition unit.  相似文献

Summary. The anionic polymerization of four bis-functionalized styrene derivatives with α-alkylvinyl groups have been carried out in THF at −78°C with the initiator prepared from oligo(α-methylstyryl)lithium and potassium tert-butoxide. The four monomers herein used are 4-isopropenylstyrene (4), 3-isopropenylstyrene (5), 2-isopropenylstyrene (6), and 4-(α-isopropylvinyl)styrene (7). It was found that under such polymerization conditions, the vinyl groups of both 4 and 7 are selectively polymerized and the isopropenyl and α-isopropylvinyl groups remain completely intact to afford stable living anionic polymers. As expected, the resulting polymers possessed precisely controlled chain lengths and narrow molecular weight distributions. More importantly, they also possessed the pendant isopropenyl and α-isopropylvinyl group in each monomer unit possible for further modification. On the other hand, the anionic polymerization of either 5 or 6 proceeded more or less along with the unwanted side reactions leading to chain-branching, followed by cross-linking. The positional effect of isopropenyl group on the polymerization and the cause of possible side reactions were discussed.  相似文献

A numerical analysis has been performed for a developing turbulent flow in a rotating U-bend of strong curvature with rib-roughened walls using an anisotropic turbulent model. In this calculation, an algebraic Reynolds stress model is used to precisely predict Reynolds stresses, and a boundary-fitted coordinate system is introduced as a method of coordinate transformation to set the exact boundary conditions along the complicated shape of U-bend with rib-roughened walls. Calculated results for mean velocity and Reynolds stresses are compared to the experimental data in order to validate the proposed numerical method and the algebraic Reynolds stress model. Although agreement is certainly not perfect in all details, the present method can predict characteristic velocity profiles and reproduce the separated flow generated near the outer wall, which is located just downstream of the curved duct. The Reynolds stresses predicted by the proposed turbulent model agree well with the experimental data, except in regions of flow separation.  相似文献

In this paper, we describe an induced signal measurement on the human body for developing a high-performance transceiver of an intra-body communication system. It is important to isolate awearable transceiver from an electrical instrument for precise measurement. We have developed a probe system using an optical isolation method including a laser diode, photo-diode, and optical fiber. The probe system can be successfully applied to the precise measurement of a receiving signal power at a wearable transceiver. We verify that the experimental results agree with the simulation results based on our previous channel model of intra-body communication.  相似文献
