A rigid diamine was synthesized from myo‐inositol, a naturally occurring cyclic hexaol, and used as a monomer to synthesize polyamides. myo‐Inositol was treated with 1,1‐dimethoxycyclohexane to yield a bisketal bearing two hydroxyl groups, and from this bisketal, the target diamine was synthesized in three steps: (1) derivation of the diol into the corresponding bistriflate, (2) nucleophilic substitution of the bistriflate with sodium azide yielding a diazide, and (3) reduction of the diazide to the target diamine. The target diamine readily underwent polycondensation with dicarboxylic acid chloride in solution. The resulting polyamides, whose main chain inherited the rigid 5‐6‐5 system from the diamine monomers, have high glass transition temperatures. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. The reaction between a dialkyl-substituted alumanyl anion and [Y(CH2SiMe3)2(thf)3][BPh4] resulted in the formation of (dialkylalumanyl)yttrium complex 2 , which exhibits the first 2-center–2-electron (2 c-2 e) Al−Y bond. The 1H and 13C NMR spectra of 2 together with an X-ray crystallographic analysis indicated a C2v symmetrical structure. DFT calculations on 2 revealed that its LUMO consists of overlapping 3 p- and 4 d-orbitals of the Al and Y atoms, respectively, and that the HOMO–LUMO gap is narrow. The UV/Vis spectrum of 2 exhibited a visible absorption at 432 nm, which suggests that the strong σ-donating and π-accepting character of the three-coordinate dialkylalumanyl ligand generates a colored d0-complex that does not contain any π-electrons. 相似文献

The major bottleneck in molecular dynamics (MD) simulations of biomolecules exist in the calculation of pairwise nonbonded interactions like Lennard‐Jones and long‐range electrostatic interactions. Particle‐mesh Ewald (PME) method is able to evaluate long‐range electrostatic interactions accurately and quickly during MD simulation. However, the evaluation of energy and gradient includes time‐consuming inverse square roots and complementary error functions. To avoid such time‐consuming operations while keeping accuracy, we propose a new lookup table for short‐range interaction in PME by defining energy and gradient as a linear function of inverse distance squared. In our lookup table approach, densities of table points are inversely proportional to squared pair distances, enabling accurate evaluation of energy and gradient at small pair distances. Regardless of the inverse operation here, the new lookup table scheme allows fast pairwise nonbonded calculations owing to efficient usage of cache memory. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 相似文献
