The symmetry of a molecule junction has been shown to play a significant role in determining the conductance of the molecule, but the details of how conductance changes with symmetry have heretofore been unknown. Herein, we investigate a naphthalenedithiol single-molecule system in which sulfur atoms from the molecule are anchored to two facing gold electrodes. In the studied system, the highest single-molecule conductance, for a molecule junction of 1,4-symmetry, is 110 times larger than the lowest single-molecule conductance, for a molecule junction of 2,7-symmetry. We demonstrate clearly that the measured dependence of molecule junction symmetry for single-molecule junctions agrees with theoretical predictions.  相似文献

Population analysis of a system of self-reproducing giant multilamellar vesicles (GMVs) was carried out by means of flow cytometry. The multidimensional distribution of forward light scattering (FS), side light scattering (SS), and fluorescence (FL) intensities originating from each GMV provided information about changes in a population composed of 104 vesicles. FS-FL dot plots indicated that, after the addition of the membrane precursor, the size distribution of the newly generated vesicles was nearly the same as that of the original, but the catalyst content was reduced. This result can be interpreted as evidence for the occurrence of the self-reproduction of GMVs. Moreover, the new GMVs recovered the amount of catalyst to the initial value, keeping their size distribution constant, when a solution of the catalyst was added to the new GMVs. These results are the first experimental evidence for a novel phenomenon on GMV size distribution during their self-reproducing cycle.  相似文献

3-Arylthiochromone derivatives were synthesized as new photolabile protecting groups, in which the photoreactivity was switchable based on oxidation of the sulfur atom (sulfide and sulfone); the protected substrates , released the corresponding alcohols, amines or carbonxylic acids almost quantitatively under UV-light in neutral condition and the photoproduct showed high fluorescence intensity.  相似文献

The asymmetric Michael addition of 2-alkoxyphenyl α-substituted nitroacetates to non-prochiral α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds catalyzed by 10 mol % of sodium 2′-[2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethoxy]-1,1′-binaphthalen-2-oxide gave the desired adducts in high yields with up to 95% ee.  相似文献

Utilizing a cyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbene (CAAC) as a ligand, neutral CAAC‐stabilized radicals containing a boryl functionality could be prepared by reduction of the corresponding haloborane adducts. The radical species with a duryl substituent was fully characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray structural analysis, EPR spectroscopy, and DFT calculations. Compared to known neutral boryl radicals, the isolated radical species showed larger spin density on the boron atom. Furthermore, the compound that was isolated is extraordinarily stable to high temperatures under inert conditions, both in solution and in the solid state. Electrochemical investigations of the radical suggest the possibility to generate a stable formal boryl anion species.  相似文献

We report three‐dimensional (3D) nanoporous graphene with preserved 2D electronic properties, tunable pore sizes, and high electron mobility for electronic applications. The complex 3D network comprised of interconnected graphene retains a 2D coherent electron system of massless Dirac fermions. The transport properties of the nanoporous graphene show a semiconducting behavior and strong pore‐size dependence, together with unique angular independence. The free‐standing, large‐scale nanoporous graphene with 2D electronic properties and high electron mobility holds great promise for practical applications in 3D electronic devices.  相似文献

We developed a highly sensitive electrochemical system for the sensing of ovalbumin (OVA). Lysozyme origin/tyrosine‐rich peptides (RNRCKGTDVQAWY4C) were immobilized on magnetic beads, and the competitive reaction between OVA and oligothreonine/OVA origin peptide probe (T8VLLPDEVSG) could then be measured. In a previous study, the detection of OVA at the 10?13 M level was achieved using RNRCKGTDVQAWY4C‐modified beads via a cross‐linker. To improve the sensitivity to OVA, this system uses T8VLLPDEVSG peptide probe to measure the interaction to RNRCKGTDVQAWY4C immobilized on magnetic beads. The peak of Y4C actually was an electron‐transfer peptide, which represented the oxidation of a phenolic hydroxyl group. First, we confirmed that the oxidation response of Y4C was increased based on an improvement in the electron transfer accessibility by oligothreonine. Next, T8VLLPDEVSG peptide probe was used for the electrochemical sensing of OVA in solutions that contained consistent amounts of RNRCKGTDVQAWY4C on magnetic beads. As a result, the peak current decreased as the concentration of OVA increased. The sensitivity to OVA was improved compared with the use of only RNRCKGTDVQAWY4C on magnetic beads. The OVA detection level was 10?14 M, which approximates the results from antibody‐antigen reactions. Consequently, the proposed system is a powerful new concept in protein sensing.  相似文献

Noncontact imaging was successfully performed with the quartz resonator in air by using the FM detection method. A constant frequency shift mode was used. The frequency shift was about -30 mHz, which was induced by the attractive force gradient. A noncontact image of the Si(111) atomic step was obtained with vertical and lateral resolutions of 0.8 Å and 60 Å.  相似文献
