For a set system M=(Mv)vV indexed by the elements of a finite set V, the intersection betweenness B(M) induced by M consists of all triples (u,v,w)∈V3 with MuMwMv. Similarly, the strict intersection betweenness Bs(M) induced by M consists of all triples (u,v,w)∈B(M) such that u, v, and w are pairwise distinct. The notion of a strict intersection betweenness was introduced by Burigana [L. Burigana, Tree representations of betweenness relations defined by intersection and inclusion, Math. Soc. Sci. 185 (2009) 5-36]. We provide axiomatic characterizations of intersection betweennesses and strict intersection betweennesses. Our results yield a simple and efficient algorithm that constructs a representing set system for a given (strict) intersection betweenness. We study graphs whose strict shortest path betweenness is a strict intersection betweenness. Finally, we explain how the algorithmic problem related to Burigana’s notion of a partial tree representation can be solved efficiently using well-known algorithms.  相似文献

Nowadays isotopic 18O-labeling of peptides has recalled the attention of researchers due to its simplicity of application and high versatility for proteomics studies. Protein quantification, differential peptide mass mapping, studies regarding proteins overexpressed or underexpressed, or the searching of biomarkers can be accomplished by using 18O-labeling. In this critical review we comment on the different ways in which 18O-labeling can be done, highlighting the key parameters of the different sample treatments to obtain a reliable and reproducible labeling. In addition we describe and compare the latest improvement in terms of sample treatment that allows to reduce the handling and to increase the throughput for this sample treatment. Finally, we hypothesize on the future trends of these methods under the light of the new technological advances to speed protein cleavage.  相似文献

The present work is part of a research program on the energetics of the linear 4-n-alkoxybenzoic acids, aiming the study of the enthalpic effect of the introduction of an alkoxy chain in the position 4- of the benzoic acid ring. In this work, we present the results of the thermochemical research on 4-n-alkoxybenzoic acids with the alkoxy chain length n = 2, 4, and 8.The standard (p°=0.1MPa) molar enthalpy of formation of crystalline 4-ethoxybenzoic acid, 4-butoxybenzoic acid, and 4-(octyloxy)benzoic acid was measured, at T = 298.15 K, by static-bomb calorimetry. These values, combined with the values of standard molar enthalpies of sublimation, were used to derive the standard molar enthalpies of formation in the gaseous phase.  相似文献

A number of drugs in the quinolone and fluoroquinolone families, approved for veterinary treatment of food animals by various countries, may be used to treat bee diseases and thereby contaminate honey. An LC-MS/MS method has been developed for the quantification of the quinolones: flumequine, nalidixic acid, oxolinic acid, and pipemidic acid; and the fluoroquinolones ciprofloxacin, danofloxacin, difloxacin, enrofloxacin, norfloxacin, ofloxacin, orbifloxacin, marbofloxacin, sarafloxacin, and sparfloxacin. A method-matched calibration curve is used with several internal standards, i.e., ciprofloxacin-d8, Iomefloxacin, and cinoxacin, to correct for the various types of honey matrices: white, light, medium, and dark colors. Enoxacin is added as an external recovery standard. The LOD values range from 0.05 microg/kg (ofloxacin) to 0.4 microg/kg (flumequine). The compounds are verified by LC-MS/MS retention times and ion ratios. Method uncertainty was determined using two separate analytical systems. The method has successfully measured the presence of norfloxacin in several samples of honey imported into Canada.  相似文献

Biohybrids consisting of gelatin (G) and calcium phosphate silicate/wollastonite (CPS/W) have not been prepared so far. In this work our results are focused on the possibility of obtaining G-CPS/W bioactive hybrids in vitro. XRD, FTIR, SEM/EDS techniques were employed to characterize the synthesized hybrid materials. FTIR shows that before immersion in 1.5 SBF the “red shift” of COO- band for pure G is observed. The presence of this bond could be attributed to the formation of COO-Ca2+ via non-biomimetic route. After immersion in 1.5 SBF, FTIR shows the presence of A- and B-type carbonate containing hydroxyapatite (A/B-CO3HA). ESD and FTIR show that small amount of calcite (CaCO3) are present after in vitro test in 1.5 SBF for 3 days. XRD reveals that CO3HA and small amounts of CaCO3 can be detected after in vitro test. SEM results obtained for immersed samples show that hydroxyapatite (HA) particles fully covered the surface of the hybrids by a layer composed of spherulites. At higher magnification, very small elongated crystallites could be observed.   相似文献

The tomato culture demands large quantities of mineral nutrients, which are supplied by synthetic fertilizers in the conventional cultivation system. In the organic cultivation system only alternative fertilizers are allowed by the certifiers and accepted as safe for humans and environment. The chemical composition of rice bran, oyster flour, cattle manure and ground charcoal, as well as soils and tomato fruits were evaluated by instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA). The potential contribution of organic fertilizers to the enrichment of chemical elements in soil and their transfer to fruits was investigated using concentration ratios for fertilizer and soil samples, and also for soil and tomato. Results evidenced that these alternative fertilizers could be taken as important sources of Br, Ca, Ce, K, Na and Zn for the organic tomato culture.  相似文献

The first Cu(I) coordination polymer with an aromatic‐substituted camphorimine ligand [(CuCl)(μ‐Cl) (Cu(H2NC6H4NC10H14O)]n was obtained from reaction of CuCl with 3‐(4‐aminophenylimino)‐1,7,7‐trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]heptan‐2‐one (H2NC6H4NC10H14O). The electronic and the surface properties (studied by X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy) are consistent with two distinct coordination environments for the copper(I) atoms—tetrahedral and linear—for the polymer family [(CuCl)(μ‐Cl){Cu(YNC10H14O)}]n. DFT band calculations reveal that the highest energy bands are more localized on the copper(I) tetrahedral sites than on the copper(I) linear sites. The redox properties of [(CuCl)(μ‐Cl){Cu(YNC10H14O)}]n [Y = NMe2 ( 2b ), NH2, and H2NC6H4NC10H14O ( 2a )] studied by cyclic voltammetry show that the oxidation potentials of the two copper centers are in fact indistinguishable. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The generalization of classical results about convex sets in ? n to abstract convexity spaces, defined by sets of paths in graphs, leads to many challenging structural and algorithmic problems. Here we study the Radon number for the P 3-convexity on graphs. P 3-convexity has been proposed in connection with rumour and disease spreading processes in networks and the Radon number allows generalizations of Radon’s classical convexity result.
