The response of a sandwich beam subjected to moving forces (constant as well as pulsating) is analyzed by the use of Fourier and Laplace transforms and compared with the response of an equivalent elastic beam. The results indicate that the critical speed of force on a sandwich beam is always greater than that on an elastic beam of identical mass per unit length and flexural rigidity, and depends on its geometric and shear parameters. For subcritical speeds, the maximum deflection of a sandwich beam is shown to occur earlier than that of an equivalent elastic beam. An increase in the core shear stiffness is shown to be beneficial in reducing the dynamic magnification of the central deflection of the sandwich beam.  相似文献

For non-Kolmogorov turbulence we develop a differential angle-of-arrival fluctuation coefficient, which is the ratio between the transverse and longitudinal differential angle-of-arrival variances, and a slope structure-correlation coefficient, which is the ratio between the transverse and longitudinal differences of the slope correlation function and the slope structure function, to measure the power-law exponent of a phase power spectrum with a Shack-Hartmann wave-front sensor: The differential arrival-of-angle fluctuation coefficient and the slope structure-correlation coefficient are both related to power-law exponent beta and are independent of strength parameter rho(0) of the turbulence. We compare the methods developed and use them to evaluate beta in recently completed horizontal atmospheric experiments for 1000-m laser beam propagation.  相似文献

181Ta time differential perturbed angular correlation (TDPAC) and positron lifetime measurements were carried out on homogeneously α-implanted CuHf samples. TDPAC measurements indicate the trapping of vacancy clusters and helium associated defect complexes by Hf atoms. The presence of helium-vacancy complexes and helium stabilised voids has been identified by positron lifetime measurements. Further the nucleation and growth stages of helium bubbles have been identified. TDPAC and positron lifetime measurements indicate that Hf atoms act as heterogeneous nucleating centers for helium bubbles. Hf atoms are found to suppress the bubble growth in CuHf as indicated by the results of positron lifetime measurements.  相似文献

Large enhancements have been observed in the sub-barrier fusion cross sections for Ti+Ni systems in our previous studies. Coupled channel calculations incorporating couplings to 2+ and 3 states failed to explain these enhancements completely. A possibilty of transfer channels contributing to the residual enhancements had been suggested. In order to investigate the role of relevant transfer channels, measurements of one- and two-nucleon transfer were carried out for 46,48Ti+61Ni systems. The maximum number of non-vanishing and independent second order photoelastic coefficients required by the seven pentagonal and the two icosahedral point groups 5(C5), (S10), (C5h ), m2(D5h ), 52(D5), 5m(C5v ), 2m(D5d ); 235(I), 2/m (I h )—that describe the quasicrystals symmetry groups in two and three dimensions—is obtained. The schemes of non-vanishing and independent coefficients have been calculated and listed. Finally the results of this group-theoretical study are briefly discussed.  相似文献

This paper is mainly concerned with elastic and acoustic properties of vitrous silica besides the computation of phonon frequencies. Thus the phonon frequencies of vitrous silica have been calculated assuming the electronic bulk modulus,K e, as equal to zero. New equations have been derived to relate the pressure derivatives of second order elastic constants to the acoustic Gruneisen’s parameters using both Bhatia-Singh’s parameters and Schofield’s equations. The calculated longitudinal and transverse Gruneisen’s parameters and the predicted absorption band spectra from Nagendranath’s equation and Bhatia Singh’s parameters are in good agreement with experiment. The calculated mean acoustic mode Gruneisen’s parameter evaluated from the pressure derivative of Nagendranath’s equation is also in good agreement with experiment. Thermal expansion measurements have been carried out on Fe substituted superconducting compounds Y1Ba2(Cu1−x Fe x )3O y (0<x<4%) using a high resolution dilatometer employing the three terminal capacitance technique. The experimental set up is sensitive enough to detect changes in α of less than 10−8K−1. Results show that the jump Δα in the coefficient of linear thermal expansion at the superconducting transition temperature,T c, increases almost linearly with Fe concentration. The normal state thermal expansion coefficient α first decreases, attains a minimum value aroundx=1% and then increases for higher Fe concentrations. The oxygen content per unit formula is almost constant up tox=1% and then increases rapidly withx. It has also been observed that the anomalous behaviour of α around 260 K observed by Meingastet al [22] for Fe concentrationx=5% is due to inadequate annealing of the sample.  相似文献

采用液相外延工艺成功制备了Tb3 + ∶YAGG单晶荧光层 ,研究了Tb3 + 激活YAG主晶格外延层中Ga3 + 掺杂的荧光敏化效应 ,可以看到在Tb3 + 荧光得到显著增强的同时 ,外延荧光层发光的饱和特性也有所改善。实验中观察到了Ga3 + 掺杂后基质晶体吸收边缘向长波方向展宽 ,并与Tb3 + 的7F6 9E、7E典型吸收峰发生交叠的现象 ,用基质与Tb3 + 之间的声子耦合解释了上述Tb3 + ∶YAGG外延层中所存在的能量传递、荧光敏化现象。基质与掺杂激活中心间能量传递机制的建立将会为基于YAG主晶格的高效荧光材料研究提供一个新的思路。  相似文献

在大气光学领域中,天空亮度分布有着重要的应用.简要介绍了天空亮度的测量原理,在分析同类测量仪器的基础上,提出了一种用于白天的,可见及近红外波段天空亮度测量仪器的设计,介绍了系统的组成和探测器的选择.经过定标,仪器能够得到天空亮度的绝对值,其结果反映了真实天空亮度分布的变化.该仪器弥补了传统的天空亮度测量仪器住测量波段、实时性、便携性等方面的不足,更好地满足了实际的科研需求.  相似文献
