The present method utilizes a simple pretreatment step, cleanup on polyamide SPE cartridges, and HPLC resolution on reversed-phase C18 for the detection of the three basic nonpermitted dyes encountered in food matrixes. Polyamide cartridges were chosen because both acidic and basic dyes can be cleaned up due to their amphoteric nature. Analysis was performed on a reversed-phase C18 micro-Bondapak column using the isocratic mixture of acetonitrile-sodium acetate with a flow rate of 1.5 mL/min and a programmable lambda(max) specific visible detection to monitor colors, achieving higher sensitivity and expanded scope to test multicolor blends. All the colors showed linearity with the regression coefficient, from 0.9983 to 0.9995. The LOD and LOQ ranged between 0.107 and 0.754 mg/L and 0.371 and 2.27 mg/L or mg/kg, respectively. The intraday and interday precision gave good RSDs, and percentage recoveries in different food matrixes ranged from 75 to 96.5%. The study demonstrates that the use of a combination of a simple SPE cleanup and HPLC resolution with UV-Vis end point detection was successful in screening the presence of these three basic nonpermitted dyes individually or in blend, in a variety of food matrixes.  相似文献

In the presence of NBS and a catalytic amount of a Lewis acid, 2,3-unsaturated allyl glycosides [6-(allyloxy)-3,6-dihydro-2-(hydroxymethyl)-2H-pyran-3-ol] have been successfully used as versatile glycosyl donors for the stereoselective α-glycosylation of a variety of alcohols comprising sensitive functions such as acetonide, keto, nitro, and ester in 50-90% yields. The methodology offers an equally facile alternative to 4-pentenyl replacement in unsaturated sugars.  相似文献

A new reverse analysis is presented that determines the plastic response of both nongraded and plastically graded materials (PGMs) without the need for traditional tension or compression tests. The method utilizes the concepts of expanding cavity model for strain hardening materials, Tabor’s rule of converting Vickers hardness to flow stress, representative plastic strain induced by indentation, and finite element modeling of the macro indentation process. A unique flow curve is determined when the experimentally measured increase in micro Vickers hardness matches that predicted by the proposed method within the plastic zone of a macro Vickers indent. The method is validated for a nongraded stainless steel first and then extended to determine the gradient in flow curves of plastically graded, case-hardened M50 NiL material, a widely used bearing steel. Such knowledge of the plastic response of the case hardened region will help optimize the design of case hardened bearings with longer rolling contact fatigue life and higher thrust load capabilities.  相似文献

Umbelliferyl sugars have been used to determine the lectin concentration in very dilute solution by fluorescence quenching methods. The Stern-Volmer plot of fluorescence quenching after considering ground-state complexation is obeyed by several sugars. As little as 1 μg of lectin (in 10 μl) and 250 nM of umbelliferyl sugars can be determined. This method offers a simple, non-destructive and rapid method for the determination of lectin activity.  相似文献

We consider the problem of approximate range counting over a stream of d-dimensional points. In the data stream model the algorithm makes a single scan of the data, which is presented in an arbitrary order, and computes a compact summary data structure. The summary, whose size depends on the approximation parameter ε, can be used to count the number of points inside a query range within additive error εn, where n is the size of the stream seen so far. We present several results, deterministic and randomized, for both rectangle and halfspace ranges.  相似文献

Oxidative coupling of methane for the production of ethylene was studied over Li-Ni/MgO catalyst in a fixed bed reactor. The influences of important reaction parameters such as temperature (T), methane/oxygen ratio (CH4/O2) in feed and space velocity of reactants (V/mcat) were studied over the conversion of methane, yields of ethylene and ethane and selectivity of ethylene formation. The reaction conditions were varied as 650 < T < 850oC, 0.83 x 10-6 < V/mcat < 2.92 x 10-6 m3/g s and 1 < CH4/O2 ratio < 8.  相似文献

Geometric coordinates are an integral part of many data streams. Examples include sensor locations in environmental monitoring, vehicle locations in traffic monitoring or battlefield simulations, scientific measurements of earth or atmospheric phenomena, etc. This paper focuses on the problem of summarizing such geometric data streams using limited storage so that many natural geometric queries can be answered faithfully. Some examples of such queries are: report the smallest convex region in which a chemical leak has been sensed, or track the diameter of the dataset, or track the extent of the dataset in any given direction. One can also pose queries over multiple streams: for instance, track the minimum distance between the convex hulls of two data streams, report when datasets A and B are no longer linearly separable, or report when points of data stream A become completely surrounded by points of data stream B, etc. These queries are easily extended to more than two streams.

In this paper, we propose an adaptive sampling scheme that gives provably optimal error bounds for extremal problems of this nature. All our results follow from a single technique for computing the approximate convex hull of a point stream in a single pass. Our main result is this: given a stream of two-dimensional points and an integer r, we can maintain an adaptive sample of at most 2r+1 points such that the distance between the true convex hull and the convex hull of the sample points is O(D/r2), where D is the diameter of the sample set. The amortized time for processing each point in the stream is O(logr). Using the sample convex hull, all the queries mentioned above can be answered approximately in either O(logr) or O(r) time.  相似文献
