We present results of exact calculations on a three-level Morse oscillator modeling HF which suggest that multiphoton absorption proceeds by sequential single-level transitions, transitions arising from coupling between non-adjacent states being dynamically negligible. The time-dependent Schrödinger equation is integrated in the Floquet formalism.  相似文献

1,8-Diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) is an effective nucleophilic catalyst for carboxylic acid esterification with dimethyl carbonate (DMC). The reaction pathway of this new class of nucleophilic catalysis has been studied. A plausible, multistep mechanism is proposed, which involves an initial N-acylation of DBU with DMC to form a carbamate intermediate. Subsequent O-alkylation of the carboxylate with this intermediate generates the corresponding methyl ester in excellent yield. In the absence of DBU or in the presence of other bases, such as ammonium hydroxide or N-methylmorpholine, the same reaction affords no desired product. This method is particularly valuable for the synthesis of methyl esters that contain acid-sensitive functionality.  相似文献

The five-site transferable interaction potential (TIP5P) for water is most accurate at reproducing experimental data when used with a simple spherical cutoff for the long-ranged electrostatic interactions. When used with other methods for treating long-ranged interactions, the model is considerably less accurate. With small modifications, a new TIP5P-like potential can be made which is very accurate for liquid water when used with Ewald sums, a more physical and increasingly more commonly used method for treating long-ranged electrostatic interactions. The new model demonstrates a density maximum near 4 degrees C, like the TIP5P model, and otherwise is similar to the TIP5P model for thermodynamic, dielectric, and dynamical properties of liquid water over a range of temperatures and densities. An analysis of this and other commonly used water models reveals how the quadrupole moment of a model can influence the dielectric response of liquid water.  相似文献

A tethered imine-enamine methodology has been developed for the direct conversion of 1,2,4-triazines into highly substituted pyridines via the inverse electron demand Diels-Alder reaction which avoids the need for a discrete aromatisation step. This TIE methodology has also been applied in one pot reaction cascades involving 1,2,4-triazines and utilising MnO(2)-mediated tandem oxidation processes (TOPs).  相似文献

The aim of this work was the preparation of enantiomerically pure bis(pinene-bipyridine) ligands containing the ferrocenyl moiety. Several such ligands (1-3) were synthesized and completely characterized. These molecules can be diastereoselectively deprotonated at the acidic methylene group of the pinene moiety using a strong and sterically hindered base such as LDA. Subsequent reaction of the formed anion with alkyl halides yield the family of C(2)-symmetric enantiopure compounds (1a-c). Copper(I), silver(I), or zinc(II) complexes with several ligands (C1-C8) were prepared and structurally characterized in the solid state and in solution. Self-assembled helical species are formed in several cases. It became evident that the chiral groups present in the ligand do not completely determined the helical configuration of the assemblages. Diastereoselectivity is thus not complete with this type of ligands, contrary to other, similar ligands studied before.  相似文献

The synthesis of the novel boron-containing nucleobase 2-benzyl-1,4-dihydro-1-hydroxythieno[3,2-c]-[1,5,2]diazaborin-3(2H)-one ( 8 ), a thieno-fused 4-borauracil, is described. Compound 8 was prepared in three steps starting from 2-thiophenecarbonyl chloride ( 4 ). A multinuclear and multisolvent nmr study of 8 indicates that the boron atom maintains a trigonal geometry in the solvents used.  相似文献

Carbonyl 2 + 2 photoaddition occurs selectively to the alkene moiety of 3-(4-methyl-3-pentenoxy)pyridine. Photolysis of alkene containing pyridines in acetophenone gives rise to an oxetane which is obtained with extremely high diastereoselectivity as shown by analysis of the major 2 + 2 photoproduct. A second photoproduct, 2,3-dihydroxy-2,3-diphenylbutane, is obtained as a result of acetophenone coupling.  相似文献

Short DNA analogues with bridging dimethylene sulfide, sulfoxide, and sulfone groups replacing the phosphate diesters (S-DNAs) were synthesized from building blocks prepared via two routes, both starting from D-glucose. Building blocks for RNA analogues were prepared by stereoselective introduction of nucleobase into a 2'-acylated ribose analogue. The ribose analogues were converted to deoxyribose analogues by replacement of a 3'-OH group by a thioacetyl unit, followed by photolytic deoxygenation or radical-based 2'-deoxygenation. DNA analogues joined via CH(2)(-)S-CH(2) units were prepared by S(N)2 displacement of a 6'-mesyl group on one building block using a thiolate nucleophile of another. 4,4'-Dimethoxytrityl protection and deprotection schemes were established for both the thiol and hydroxyl groups. The corresponding sulfoxide DNA analogues were obtained by oxidation with hydrogen peroxide. Sulfone DNA analogues were obtained by oxidation of the sulfide DNA with persulfate or hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a titanium silicate catalyst. The physical properties of several representative oligonucleotide analogues were examined, and interpreted in light of a "second-generation" model for DNA strand-strand recognition, a model that emphasizes the role of the polyanionic backbone in diminishing unwanted tendencies of highly functionalized molecules to form "structure" in solution. Even short sulfide-linked DNA analogues displayed association properties different from those displayed by standard DNA molecules. Complex formation observed with sulfide-linked tetramers by HPLC study in different solvents suggested that the complex is formed using hydrogen bonding. Sulfone-linked dinucleotides display Watson-Crick behavior; the tetramer, however, displayed self-structure. Self-structure and self-aggregation become more prominent as the length of the oligonucleotide analogues increases. The tendency to self-aggregate can be decreased by adding a charged sulfonate group to the 3'-end of the DNA analogue. Features of the second-generation model are important for many areas of nucleic acid chemistry, from the design of nucleic acid therapeutic agents to the search for life on other planets.  相似文献

Abstract— The response of a normal human cell strain, IMR-90 and a line derived from it by SV40 transformation were compared after treatment in vitro with hematoporphyrin derivative (HPD) and red light. Transformed cells were inactivated at a significantly higher rate than normal cells when assayed by clonogenic survival. Co-treatment with HPD and light also induces cellular resistance to enzymatic cleavage by trypsin; transformed cells exhibit a greater resistance than the normal cells to detachment from the growing surface. These data indicate that transformed cells may possess intrinsic characteristics that render them more sensitive than normal cells to HPD-induced phototoxicity and that the plasma membrane may be the site of differential toxicity.  相似文献
