About entire functions with specialL 2-properties on one-dimensional subspaces of ℂ n

In this paper we consider special elements of the Fock space #x2131; _n . That is the space of entire functionsf:ℂ: ⁿ →ℂ, such that the followingL ²- condition is satisfied: . Here we show that there exists an entire functiong:ℂ ⁿ →ℂ such that for every one-dimensional subspace Π⊂ℂ ⁿ and for all 0<∈<2 we have , but in the limit case ∈=0 we have . This result is analogue to a result from [1]. There holomorphic functions on the unit-ball are investigated. Furthermore the proof — as the one in [1] — uses a theorem from [2]. Therefore we give another application of the results from [2] — namely for spaces of entire functions.     

Rapid optical sampling of relaxation-phenomena employing two time-correlated picosecond pulsetrains

Two flashlamp-pumped, mode-locked and optically coupled dye lasers produce trains of picosecond pulses with definite, but variable time correlation. One pulsetrain is used to bleach the sample, while the other probes the decay of its transient transmission. Relaxation times between 15 ps and 1 ns can be monitored by one simultaneous activation of the two lasers.     

ENDOR investigation of Ni3+ in GaP

With ENDOR measurements the ligand hyperfine and quadrupole interactions of Ni³⁺ in GaP with 3 shells of P neighbours and 3 shells of Ga neighbours could be resolved. It was established that the effective spin is $\text{3}\text{2}$, thus the defect is in the 3d⁷ state, which confirms the earlier assignment of the centre as an Ni³⁺ from ESR measurements. From the quadrupole interaction of the nearest Ga neighbours it can be concluded that Ni³⁺ is substitutional for Ga. From ENDOR-induced ESR experiments an upper limit for the u-parameter of the B·S³ term in the Spin Hamiltonian was determined. The unpaired spin density distribution shows a pronounced tetrahedral symmetry along the [111]-directions.     

Thermal and reactive nonequilibrium of magnetoactive plasma flows

Based on multifluid equations derived from the Boltzman equation under inclusion of ionization and recombination reactions, the following convective processes in magnetoactive plasma flows transverse to homogeneous magnetic fields are investigated:The build-up of the nonuniform plasma state, the intercomponent thermal nonequilibrium and the reactive nonequilibrium in dependence of the flow coordinate. Due to the complexity of the problem, a numerical approach is used, parallel to which an approximate analytical theory is developed.
