Oligonucleotides composed of 1′,5′‐anhydro‐arabino‐hexitol nucleosides belonging to the L series (L ‐HNA) were prepared and preliminarily studied as a novel potential base‐pairing system. Synthesis of enantiopure L ‐hexitol nucleotide monomers equipped with a 2′‐(N6‐benzoyladenin‐9‐yl) or a 2′‐(thymin‐1‐yl) moiety was carried out by a de novo approach based on a domino reaction as key step. The L oligonucleotide analogues were evaluated in duplex formation with natural complements as well as with unnatural sugar‐modified oligonucleotides. In many cases stable homo‐ and heterochiral associations were found. Besides Tm measurements, detection of heterochiral complexes was unambiguously confirmed by LC‐MS studies. Interestingly, circular dichroism measurements of the most stable duplexes suggested that L ‐HNA form left‐handed helices with both D and L oligonucleotides.  相似文献

Proficiency testing (PT) is becoming a feature of laboratory accreditation and the PT results are used to assess the technical competence of the participating laboratories. ISPRA (former APAT) plays an important role in supporting the Italian laboratories belonging to the network of the Regional Environmental Agencies to improve the quality of their analytical measurements. As a consequence, ISPRA organized an interlaboratory comparison to assess the performance of the laboratories on PAH measurement procedure. The interlaboratory comparison was drawn separating the different steps of the measurement (from the extraction to the instrumental measurement). Two matrix reference materials: (1) a polluted soil and (2) an extract reference material of the same polluted soil and a “blind” PAH mixture standard stock solution were distributed to 59 Italian laboratories. The results of interlaboratory comparison showed a significant dispersion of the PAH measurements that masks the effects of the different extraction and cleanup procedures used, but it is consistent with the results of other European interlaboratory comparisons.  相似文献

Different solid state and sol-gel preparations of undoped and Mn substituted cathode material LiFePO4 are investigated. Li3PO4, Fe2P2O7 and Li4P2O7 are detected and quantified by XRPD only in solid state synthesis. In addition, micro-Raman spectra reveal low amount of different iron oxides clusters. EPR data, combined with the results of magnetization measurements, evidence signals from Fe3+ ions in maghemite nanoclusters, and in Li3Fe2(PO4)3. The sol-gel synthesis, showing the lowest amount of impurity phases, seems the most suitable to obtain a promising cathode material. The structural refinement gives new insights into the cation distribution of the Mn doped triphylite structure: (i) about 85% of Mn2+ ions substitutes Fe2+, the remaining 15% being located on the Li site, thus suggesting a structural disorder also confirmed by EPR and micro-Raman results; (ii) Mn ions on the Li site are responsible for the observed slight cell volume expansion.  相似文献

This paper describes a new efficient synthesis of 2,2′-spirobi-(1,3-benzoxathiole) (1), 2,2′-spirobi-(1,3-benzodithiole) (2) and 2,2′-spirobi-(1,3-benzodioxole) (3). Compound 3 has been functionalized by means of metallation reaction followed by electrophilic quenching to give carboxylic acids, aldehydes and alcohols. Furthermore compound 3 was subjected to homo-coupling and its dimeric structure was determined by XRD analysis.  相似文献

A regularized Newton‐like method for solving nonnegative least‐squares problems is proposed and analysed in this paper. A preconditioner for KKT systems arising in the method is introduced and spectral properties of the preconditioned matrix are analysed. A bound on the condition number of the preconditioned matrix is provided. The bound does not depend on the interior‐point scaling matrix. Preliminary computational results confirm the effectiveness of the preconditioner and fast convergence of the iterative method established by the analysis performed in this paper. Inelastic neutron scattering experiments and molecular dynamics simulations have been used to investigate the low frequency modes, in the region between 0 and 100 meV, of hydration water in selected hydrophilic and hydrophobic biomolecules. The results show changes in the plasticity of the hydrogen-bond network of hydration water molecules depending on the biomolecular site. At 200 K, the measured low frequency density of states of hydration water molecules of hydrophilic peptides is remarkably similar to that of high density amorphous ice, whereas, for hydrophobic biomolecules, it is comparable to that of low density amorphous ice behavior. In both hydrophilic and hydrophobic biomolecules, the high frequency modes show a blue shift of the libration mode as compared to the room temperature data. These results can be related to the density of water molecules around the biological interface, suggesting that the apparent local density of water is larger in a hydrophilic environment.  相似文献

Recent experimental and theoretical studies on N-alkylated indanylidene pyrroline Schiff bases (NAIP) show that these compounds exhibit biomimetic photoisomerization analogous to that in the chromophore of rhodopsin. The NAIP compounds studied previously isomerize rapidly and often evolve coherently on the ground-electronic surface after reaction. We present the results of transient electronic absorption spectroscopy on dMe-OMe-NAIP, a newly synthesized NAIP analogue that differs from other NAIP compounds in the substituents on its pyrrolinium ring. Following excitation with 400 nm light, dMe-OMe-NAIP relaxes from the electronic-excited state in less than 500 fs, which is slower than in other analogues, and does not show the prominent oscillations observed in other NAIP compounds. A reduction in the amount of twisting between the rings caused by removal of the methyl group is likely responsible for the slower isomerization. Measurements in solvents of varying viscosity and structure suggest that intramolecular processes dominate the relaxation of nascent photoproducts.  相似文献

Tetraethylene glycol dimethylether-lithium bis(oxalate)borate (TEGDME-LiBOB) electrolyte is here studied. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements demonstrate that the electrolyte has conductivity higher than 10− 3 S cm− 1 at room temperature and about 10− 2 S cm− 1 at 60 °C, while thermogravimetry indicates a stability extending up to 180 °C. Sweep voltammetry of the electrolyte shows anodic stability extending over 4.6 V vs. Li and cathodic peak at about 1.5 V vs. Li/Li+, caused by a decomposition of LiBOB salt, and following prevented by using a pre-treated Sn-C anode. Furthermore, LiFePO4 electrode is successfully used as cathode in a lithium cell using the TEGDME-LiBOB electrolyte. The promising electrochemical results, the low cost and the very high safety level candidate the electrolyte here reported as a valid alternative to the conventional electrolyte based on fluorinated salts presently used in the lithium ion battery field.  相似文献

Several acridine derivatives were synthesized and their anti-proliferative activity was determined. The most active molecules were derivatives of 5-methylacridine-4-carboxylic acid. The DNA binding properties of the synthesized acridines were analyzed by competitive dialysis and compared with the anti-proliferative activities. While inactive acridine derivatives showed high selectivity for G-quadruplex structures, the most active 5-methylacridine-4-carboxamide derivatives had high affinity for DNA but showed poor specificity. An NMR titration study was performed with the most active 5-methylacridine-4-carboxamide, confirming the high affinity of this compound for both duplex and quadruplex DNAs.  相似文献
