Free-standing and supported hydrogenated amorphous carbon films (a:C–H) were prepared upon pyrolysis of the polymer formed
by ethanolamine (EA) and citric acid (CA), under an ambient atmosphere at 300 °C. EA facilitates the formation of the macroscopic
films, while CA is essential for obtaining the a:C–H microstructure, which comprises a mixture of sp2 and sp3 carbon.

The procedure of microphase adsorption–spectral correction is applied to the interaction of eosine Y (EO) to the micelles of cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB). The Langmuir aggregation of EO on CTAB occurs owing to microelectrostatic attraction. The results have shown that at pH 3.8, monomeric and micellar aggregates have the structure EO5·CTAB2 and (EO5·CTAB2)39. The adsorption constant of an aggregate is 7.01·105, its molar absorption coefficient is = 8.8·104 liters·mole–1·cm–1 at 550 nm. Application of the aggregation of EO on CTAB gives satisfactory results for quantitative determination of cation surfaceactive agents (surfactants). 相似文献

The phase composition and the temperature dependence of the magnetization of the Er0.45Ho0.55Fe2 compound in coarse-grained, microcrystalline, and submicrocrystalline states are investigated experimentally. It is found
that, upon heating under vacuum, the Er0.45Ho0.55Fe2 microcrystalline powder with a crystalline grain size of ∼1 μm undergoes decomposition into pure iron and rare-earth (erbium
and holmium) oxides and nitrides at a temperature of 500 K. The changes observed in the phase composition of the microcrystalline
powder due to annealing are confirmed by x-ray diffraction analysis. Heating of the Er0.45Ho0.55Fe2 submicrocrystalline sample leads to a partial change in the phase composition. The phase composition of a large crystal (∼1
mm in size) remains unchanged upon heating to 1080 K. It is shown that the thermal stability of the Er0.45Ho0.55Fe2 compound depends on the crystalline grain size.

Highly (100)-oriented, (110)-oriented and polycrystalline LaNiO3 (LNO) films were successfully prepared on Si(100) using an oriented MgO film as a buffer. It was somewhat surprising to find
that that the orientation relation between the LNO film and the corresponding MgO buffer was: LNO(100)\MgO(110), LNO(110)\MgO(111)
and LNO(polycrystalline)\MgO(100). The crystalline quality of the LNO films was shown to be sensitive to the preparation conditions
of the MgO buffer. The film surface was very smooth, without micrometer-sized droplets being observed. All LNO films were
of metallic conductivity, with a room-temperature resistivities of approximately 250, 280 and 420 μΩ cm for the (110)-oriented,
(100)-oriented and polycrystalline LNO, respectively.

This paper is devoted to the study of the interaction of particles with two beating plasma waves. We follow the instructional
article by Ott and Dum. According to them, the sum of wave actions during the interaction is constant, supposing the effect
of trapped particles on the beat can be neglected. In the present paper, this problem is solved more generally, just for the
case of trapped and also untrapped particles in the wave. Our study shows that the sum of wave actions is constant also in
the case when the influence of the trapped particles on the amplitudes of two waves was considered. On the contrary this conclusion
is not valid if it is supposed that two original waves are amplitude modulated e.g. by the influence of the interaction of
the beat with particles.

Raman characteristics of carbon nitride films synthesized by nitrogen-ion-beam-assisted pulsed laser deposition were investigated.
In addition to the D (disorder) band and G (graphitic) band commonly observed in carbon nitride films, two Raman bands located
at 1080–1100 and 1465–1480 cm-1 were found from our carbon nitride films. These two bands were well matched with the predicted Raman frequencies for βC3N4 and the observed Raman bands reported for carbon nitride films, indicating their relation to carbon-nitrogen stretching vibrations.
Furthermore, the relative intensity ratio of the two Raman bands to the D and G bands increased linearly with increasing nitrogen
content of the carbon nitride films.

SrBi2Ta2O9 (SBT) ferroelectric thin films with different preferred orientations were deposited by pulsed laser deposition (PLD). Several
methods have been developed to control the preferred orientation of SBT thin films. For SBT films deposited directly on Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si substrates and in situ crystallized at the deposition temperature, the substrate temperature has a significant impact
on the orientation and the remnant polarization (Pr) of the films; a higher substrate temperature benefits the formation of
(115) texture and larger grain size. The films deposited on Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si substrates at 830 °C are (115)-oriented and exhibit 2Pr of 6 μC/cm2. (115)- and (200)-predominant films can be formed by using a La0.85Sr0.15CoO3 (LSCO) buffer layer or by annealing amorphous SBT films deposited on Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si substrates at 450 °C using rapid thermal annealing (RTA). These films exhibit good electric properties; 2Pr of the films
are up to 12 μC/cm2 and 17 μC/cm2, respectively. The much larger 2Pr of the films deposited on the LSCO buffer layer and of the films obtained by RTA than
2Pr of the films deposited on Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si substrates at 830 °C is attributed to a stronger (200) texture.

An experimental 16-channel parallel interconnection system able to support 100 Mbits–1 per channel and an opto-electronic neural network operating at up to 50 Mbits–1 have been constructed to demonstrate the potential of optics in processing systems. Both experiments operate at a wavelength of 1.5m. Components developed for these systems include arrays of InGaAs/InP MQW surface modulators for low-power electrical-to-optical conversion; InGaAs/InP for detector arrays, which are hybrid integrated with GaAs amplifier arrays; and computer-generated holograms for efficient beam splitting and to encode weights in the optical beam intensities. Each of these demonstrations has considerable scope for increasing the degree of parallelism and the operating speed. Recent modifications to the neural network enable the weights to be varied and training has been demonstrated with a novel algorithm that uses the high operating speed to advantage. 相似文献

The three-body Coulomb problem for nuclear clusters is solved numerically for a model below three-body breakup threshold. An orthogonalized multi-channels method is employed. The method allows to check for convergence by considering the norm square of the closed-channels part of the wave function.
