Optical low-coherence reflectometry with resolution beyond the Fourier transform limit

We demonstrate experimentally and theoretically a method for enhancing the axial resolution of optical low-coherence reflectometry (OLCR) beyond the Fourier transform limit of light source spectrum. The resolution enhancement originates from the superposition of multiple OLCR scans with different offsets of the center-wavelength light-ray with respect to the rotation axis of the mirror mounted on the galvanometer optical scanner in the used optical phase delay line. After certain software process of the multiple scan fringe patterns of different offsets, the superposition leads to an OLCR axial resolution beyond the transform limit. Experimentally, by using four different offsets for superposition, about 1.5 times enhancement of the transform-limit resolution is obtained.     

The prediction of the peak width at half height in HPLC

The prediction of the peak width at half height is an important aspect in the optimization of the chromatographic operating conditions. In this paper, a linear relationship, between the peak widths at half height and the retention values with various isocratic elution is observed. In gradient elution, however, the relationship between the peak widths at half height and the so-called invented retention values that correspond to the mobile phase composition by eluting the solute from the column end is developed. We believe that there is almost the same band width at half height inside the column (in unit of length) for different solutes. The peak width at half height in the chromatogram (in unit of time) is mainly determined by the capacity factor of the solute when it is eluted from the column end. The larger the capacity factor of a solute eluted from the column end, the more slowly will be the solute eluted from the column end and the wider will be the peak width at half height. It is possible to predict the peak width at half height in various isocratic and gradient elutions by using this linear relationship.

本文根据汉寿县１９６０─１９８８年洪涝灾害资料，应用加权列联表分析法，与前期气候因子建立洪涝趋势预测模式。最后对１９８９─１９９０年洪涝试报，取得了满意的效果。     

Moment problem for effect algebras

We present a solution to the moment problem for effect algebras, concerning mean values of all powers of an observable concentrated on the interval [0, 1] for states from a convex set. We give a solution for particular examples, e.g., for the set of all effect operators. We examine how this problem is related to a socalled E-property. Finally, we give a solution for observables studied in the operational approach to physical theories.

Self-organized ZnAl2O4 nanostructures grown on -sapphire

Self-organized ZnAl₂O₄ nanostructures with the appearance (in SEM) of high aspect ratio horizontal nanowires are grown on uncatalysed c-sapphire by vapour phase transport. The nanostructures grow as three equivalent crystallographic variants on c-sapphire. Raman and cathodoluminescence spectroscopy confirm that the nanostructures are not ZnO and TEM shows that they are the cubic spinel, zinc aluminate, ZnAl₂O₄, formed by the reaction of Zn and O with the sapphire substrate.     

低噪音摩阻复台材料影响因素的探讨

采用动态粘弹谱仪（ＤＤＶ）、电子扫描显微镜（ＳＥＭ）和摩擦试验机等对影响摩阻复合材料制动噪音的因素进行了探讨。结果表明，摩阻材料基体的合理改性以提高其损耗角正切ｔａｎδ对减少振动、降低噪音行之有效。同时对传统解决噪音的方法，如添加固体润滑剂、橡胶共混等进行了分析比较。
