The Transverse Transmission Line (TTL) is used in the theory of the overlay shielded microstrip lines considering the superconductor strip on two semiconductor regions. The superconductor effect is included with the boundary condition of the surface impedance, that is related to the complex conductivity of the material, calculated from the advanced two-fluid model. Applying the moment method the complex propagation constant of the structure, including the phase constant and the attenuation constant, is obtained. Results are presented for the complex propagation constant, versus the frequency and the temperature, of this overlay superconducting microstrip lines.  相似文献

The Shubnikov-de Haas spectra of GaAs samples with a periodical doping with Si were measured at 4.2 K using fields of 0–14 T. From the Shubnikov-de Haas spectrum the quantum mobilities associated with individual minibands were estimated for each sample. The sheet density of Si atoms in each doping plane was fixed at approximately 2.5 × 1012 cm?2 in all samples and the doping period was varied in the range 40–1000 Å. The quantum mobilities obtained experimentally are compared with theoretical calculations using the random phase approximation to describe the screened interaction between electrons and charged impurities. The theory describes qualitatively the results of the experiment, i.e. an increase of the quantum mobility with the index of the miniband, and a decrease in the mobility in all minibands when the doping period is made shorter (with a weak maximum at intermediate values of the doping period). Various possible improvements of the model are suggested.  相似文献

Mössbauer X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy studies revealed that segregation and ordering occurred in the metal particles of the Antarctic L6 chondrite ALHA 76009. The ordered crystal structure of AuCu type (tetrataenite) was detected coexisting with the disordered 50-50 taenite.  相似文献

Room temperature Mössbauer spectra of Ga and Al substituted lithium ferrite Li[Fe0.9(AlxGa1?x)0.1]5O8 with x = 0.00, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 and 1.00 are reported. It is shown that the varying covalence of bonds caused by gallium and aluminium ions can explain the observed values of hyperfine fields and isomer-shifts.  相似文献

Capillary forces can significantly contribute to the adhesion of biological and artificial micro- and nanoscale objects. In this paper, we study numerically the effect of meniscus size on the force between two homogeneous flat plates for different contact angles. The force distance curves show excellent quantitative agreement with previous investigations. The results for n menisci of equal total liquid volume reveal interesting scaling properties and an unexpected maximum force for moderately hydrophilic surfaces (i.e., contact angles around 70 degrees ). Further, we calculate the minimum solid-liquid area for multiple bridges, the cohesive stress (i.e., force per area) between the plates, and the work required to separate them. The results are presented in two-dimensional maps, which may be useful in the understanding of biological attachment structures and in the design of artificial contact systems.  相似文献

The effect of mating delay on the ovary structure of virgin queens of Melipona quadrifasciata anthidioides (Hymenoptera: Apidae) was investigated. Virgin queens 15, 20, 25 and 30 days old were dissected to analyze their degree of ovary degeneration. To verify whether the degeneration would cause permanent sterility, virgin queens of the same ages (15, 20, 25 and 30 days) were mated and accompanied for at least 14 days to verify whether there was physogastry and then dissected. The ovaries were analyzed by histology, histochemical tests and TUNEL to verify programmed cell death. The results showed that mating delay interrupted oogenesis preventing vitellogenesis. Mating delay results in ovary degeneration which increased with queen age. However, even when there was ovariole degeneration, 25-day-old virgin queens after mating presented normal ovariole activation.  相似文献

Nanoparticles of octakis[3-(3-amino-1,2,4-triazole)propyl]octasilsesquioxane (ATZ-SSQ) were tested as ligands for transition-metal ions in aqueous solution with a special attention to sorption isotherms, ligand-metal interaction, and determination of metal ions in natural waters. The adsorption potential of the material ATZ-SSQ was compared with related [3(3-amino-1,2,4-triazole)propyl]silica gel (ATZ-SG). The adsorption was performed using a batchwise process and both organofunctionalized surfaces showed the ability to adsorb the metal ions from aqueous solution. The Langmuir model was used to simulate the sorption isotherms. The results suggest that the sorption of these metals on ATZ-SSQ and ATZ-SG occurs mainly by surface complexation. The equilibrium condition is reached at time lower than 3 min for ATZ-SSQ, while for ATZ-SG is only reached at time of 25 min. The maximum metal ion uptake values for ATZ-SSQ were higher than the corresponding values achieved with the ATZ-SG. In order to obtain more information on the ligand-metal interaction of the complexes on the surface of the ATZ-SSQ nanomaterial, ESR study with various degrees of copper loadings was carried out. The ATZ-SSQ was tested for the determination (in flow using a column technique) of the metal ions present in natural waters.  相似文献

A hybrid (weak-strong anchoring) cylindrical cell with antagonistic boundary conditions (planar–homeotropic) at the outer confining surface and at a central coaxial cylindrical core and filled with nematic liquid crystals is investigated by means of the Elastic Theory and Monte Carlo Simulations. The director orientation profile on the surface characterized by weak anchoring is built as a function of the extrapolation length and other relevant parameters. By considering the angle on the surface as an order parameter, a transition in the orientation is found when the extrapolation length becomes smaller than a critical value and the orientation of the surface with strong anchoring is dominant. The order parameter critical exponent is numerically calculated, and the mean field value (β≈1/2) is found in all cases. These transitions are essentially confirmed by Monte Carlo simulations even if some numerical discrepancies are found. The analysis show similarities between planar and cylindrical geometries, but non-usual consequences are found more easily in the latter one.  相似文献
