Electron attachment to clusters of HCl, H2O, D2O, C2H4(OH)2, NH3, and ND3 is compared. The clusters are produced in a seeded supersonic beam traversing a sustained gas discharge. For the first four moleculesN min=2 is the lowest number of molecules necessary to support a bound negative ion state. A much largerN min and an isotope effect is observed for ammonia,N min(NH3)=35, andN min(ND3)=41.  相似文献

For the calculation of kinetic parameters from thermal data files numeric optimization has been well introduced. But suitable starting values near the global minimum of the sum of deviation squares are needed for a successfully parameter estimation. Namely the search for starting values requires a lot of time and diminishes the effectiveness of the total procedure. Therefore we have developed an algorithm of the automatic search of starting values for the optimization of activation energy end frequency factor of a chemical reaction.This search procedure uses the knowledge of the specific course of the correspondingSDS surface in the near of its global minimum. In this area theSDS describes two plateaus separated by a narrow valley. The search procedure avoids starting values at one of these plateaus. This PC program is part of the complex software package TA-kin v3.3 for kinetic evaluation of thermal measurements.  相似文献

Adsorption of proteins onto film surfaces built up layer by layer from oppositely charged polyelectrolytes is a complex phenomenon, governed by electrostatic forces, hydrogen bonds, and hydrophobic interactions. The amounts of the interacting charges, however, both in polyelectrolytes and in proteins adsorbed on such films are a function of the pH of the solution. In addition, the number and the accessibility of free charges in proteins depend on the secondary structure of the protein. The subtle interplay of all these factors determines the adsorption of the proteins onto the polyelectrolyte film surfaces. We investigated the effect of these parameters for polyelectrolyte films built up from weak "protein-like" polyelectrolytes (i.e., polypeptides), poly(L-lysine) (PLL), and poly(glutamic acid) (PGA) and for the adsorption of human serum albumin (HSA) onto these films in the pH range 3.0-10.5. It was found that the buildup of the polyelectrolyte films is not a simple function of the pure charges of the individual polyelectrolytes, as estimated from their respective pKa values. The adsorption of HSA onto (PLL/PGA)n films depended strongly on the polyelectrolyte terminating the film. For PLL-terminated polyelectrolyte films, at low pH, repulsion, as expected, is limiting the adsorption of HSA (having net positive charge below pH 4.6) since PLL is also positively charged here. At high pH values, an unexpected HSA uptake was found on the PGA-ending films, even when both PGA and HSA were negatively charged. It is suggested that the higher surface rugosity and the decrease of the alpha-helix content at basic pH values (making accessible certain charged groups of the protein for interactions with the polyelectrolyte film) could explain this behavior.  相似文献

The thermal reaction of 1-[(E)-styrl]azulenes with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate (ADM) in decalin at 190–200° does not lead to the formation fo the corresponding heptalene-1,2-dicarboxylates (Scheme 2). Main products are the corresponding azulene-1,2-dicarboxylates (see 4 and 9 ), accompanied by the benzanellated azulenes trans- 10a and trans- 11 , respectively. The latter compounds are formed by a Diels-Alder reaction of the starting azulenes and ADM, followed by an ene reaction with ADM (cf. Scheme 3). The [RuH2(PPh3)4]-catalyzed reaction of 4,6,8-trimethyl-1-[(E)-4-R-styryl]azulenes (R=H, MeO, Cl; Scheme 4) with ADM in MeCN at 110° yields again the azulene-1,2-dicarboxylates as main products. However, in this case, the corresponding heptalene-1,2-dicarboxylates are also formed in small amounts (3–5%; Scheme 4). The benzanellated azulenes trans- 10a and trans- 10b are also found in small amounts (2–3%) in the reaction mixture. ADM Addition products at C(3) of the azulene ring as well as at C(2) of the styryl moiety are also observed in minor amounts (1–3%). Similar results are obtained in the [RuH2(PPh3)4]-catalyzed reaction of 3-[(E)-styryl]guaiazulene ((E)- 8 ; Scheme 5) with ADM in MeCN. However, in this case, no heptalene formation is observed, and the amount of the ADM-addition products at C(2) of the styryl group is remarkably increased (29%). That the substitutent pattern at the seven-membered ring of (E)- 8 is not responsible for the failure of heptalene formation is demonstrated by the Ru-catalyzed reaction of 7-isopropyl-4-methyl-1-[(E)-styryl]azulene ((E)- 23 ; Scheme 11) with ADM in MeCN, yielding the corresponding heptalene-1,2-dicarboxylate (E)- 26 (10%). Again, the main product is the corresponding azulene-1,2-dicarboxylate 25 (20%). Reaction of 4,6,8-trimethyl-2-[(E)-styryl]azulene ((E)- 27 ; Scheme 12) and ADM yields the heptalene-dicarboxylates (E)- 30A / B , purely thermally in decalin (28%) as well as Ru-catalyzed in MeCN (40%). Whereas only small amounts of the azulene-1,2-dicarboxylate 8 (1 and 5%, respectively) are formed, the corresponding benzanellated azulene trans- 29 ist found to be the second main product (21 and 10%, respectively) under both reaction conditions. The thermal reaction yields also the benzanellated azulene 28 which is not found in the catalyzed variant of the reaction. Heptalene-1,2-dicarboxylates are also formed from 4-[(E)-styryl]azulenes (e.g. (E)- 33 and (E)- 34 ; Scheme 14) and ADM at 180–190° in decalin and at 110° in MeCN by [RuH2(PPh3)4] catalysis. The yields (30%) are much better in the catalyzed reaction. The formation of by-products (e.g. 39–41 ; Scheme 14) in small amounts (0.5–5%) in the Ru-catalyzed reactions allows to understand better the reactivity of zwitterions (e.g. 42 ) and their triyclic follow-up products (e.g. 43 ) built from azulenes and ADM (cf. The first synthesis of conjugated triynes by molybdenum-catalysed alkyne metathesis is reported. Strategic to the success of this approach is the utilization of sterically-hindered diynes that allowed for the site-selective alkyne metathesis to produce the desired conjugated triyne products. The steric hindrance of the alkyne moiety was found to be crucial in preventing the formation of diyne byproducts. This novel synthetic strategy was amenable to self- and cross-metathesis providing straightforward access to the corresponding symmetrical and dissymmetrical triynes with high selectivity.

The first synthesis of symmetrical and dissymmetrical conjugated triynes by self- and cross-metathesis was successfully achieved thanks to the use of hindered diynes.  相似文献

Alkali metal zincate reagents are attracting considerable attention at present in respect to their often special reactivity/selectivity in hydrogen-metal and halogen-metal interconversion reactions. Heteroleptic diorgano-amidozincates, typified by lithium di-tert-butyltetramethylpiperidinozincate, have proved to be especially useful reagents in such applications. In this paper the related sodium TMP-zincate, prepared as its TMEDA (N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine) adduct, [TMEDA.Na(mu-tBu)(mu-TMP)Zn(tBu)], 1, is introduced. This new zincate was synthesized from a 1:1:1 mixture of tBu2Zn, NaTMP, and TMEDA in hexane solution, as a colorless crystalline solid in an isolated yield of 58%. It has been characterized in solution by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopic studies. An X-ray crystallographic study reveals that 1 adopts a five-membered (NaNZnCC) ring system featuring a TMP bridge and an unusual, asymmetrical tBu bridge involving a Na...Me agostic contact. Probing the basicity of 1, reaction with benzene affords the new hetero(tri)leptic zincate [TMEDA.Na(mu-Ph)(mu-TMP)Zn(tBu)], 2, which has also been crystallographically characterized. Thus, in this hydrogen-metal exchange reaction 1 functions as an alkyl base, with the elimination of butane, as opposed to an amido base. Also reported are DFT calculations using B3LYP functionals and the 6-311G** basis set on model zincate systems, which intimate that the preference of 1 for tBu ligand transfer over TMP ligand transfer in the reaction toward benzene is due to favorable thermodynamic factors.  相似文献

A photodetachment experiment is performed on the v=0-->v=0 OH(-) detachment threshold. The weak O and S branches provide a signal strong enough to make amplitude measurements on all five O, P, Q, R, and S branches possible, which are used to fix the formulas for their relative intensities. Photodetachment microscopy is applied to 15 different thresholds of the P, Q, and R branches. The quantitative analysis of the interference patterns obtained does not show any effect of the dipole moment of OH, but yields a new measurement of the rotational parameters of OH(-)(v=0) and of the electron affinity of the molecule. The new recommended value for the electron affinity of (16)O(1)H is 14 740.982(7) cm(-1) or 1.827 648 7(11) eV.  相似文献

The ability of [(η5-C5Me5)MIII(L)Cl]+ complexes (M = Rh and Ir. L = 2,2′-bipyridine and 1, 10-phenanthroline) to act as electrocatalysts for the hydrogenation of unsaturated organic substrates has been examined in homogeneous acetonitrile solution, using formic acid as a proton source, as well as in aqueous electrolytes with electrodes modified by oxidative electropolymerization of pyrrole-substituted Rh(III) and Ir(III) complexes. The hydrogenation process involves the formation of an electrogenerated hydrido complex, followed by the insertion of the substrate in the metal-hydride bond. It appears that rhodium complexes are better catalysts than the iridium ones, and that their immobilization onto an electrode surface decreases their catalytic activity.  相似文献

Photoredox catalysts are integral components of artificial photosystems, and have recently emerged as powerful tools for catalysing numerous organic reactions. However, the development of inexpensive and efficient earth-abundant photoredox catalysts remains a challenge. We here present the photochemical and photophysical properties of a Ni–Mabiq catalyst ([NiII(Mabiq)]OTf (1); Mabiq = 2-4:6-8-bis(3,3,4,4-tetramethyldihydropyrrolo)-10-15-(2,2-biquinazolino)-[15]-1,3,5,8,10,14-hexaene1,3,7,9,11,14-N6)—and of a Zn-containing analogue ([ZnII(Mabiq)OTf] (2))—using steady state and time resolved optical spectroscopy, time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) calculations, and reactivity studies. The Ni and Zn complexes exhibit similar absorption spectra, but markedly different photochemical properties. These differences arise because the excited states of 2 are ligand-localized, whereas metal-centered states account for the photoactivity of 1. The distinct properties of the Ni and Zn complexes are manifest in their behavior in the photo-driven aza-Henry reaction and oxidative coupling of methoxybenzylamine.

The development of earth-abundant photoredox catalysts remains a challenge. Studies of Ni- and Zn-Mabiq complexes demonstrate how the coordinating metal ion influences the photochemistry, photodynamics and reactivity of photocatalysts.  相似文献
