We have performed precision atomic spectroscopy of trapped radioactive Be isotopes aiming at studies of the charge and magnetization radii of these nuclei especially for a single-neutron halo nucleus 11Be . Some experimental results and the status of the analysis are discussed.  相似文献

Atomic masses of the neutron-rich isotopes (76-80)Zn, (78-83)Ga, (80-85)Ge, (81-87)As, and (84-89)Se have been measured with high precision using the Penning trap mass spectrometer JYFLTRAP at the IGISOL facility. The masses of (82,83)Ga, (83-85)Ge, (84-87)As, and 89Se were measured for the first time. These new data represent a major improvement in the knowledge of the masses in this neutron-rich region. Two-neutron separation energies provide evidence for the reduction of the N=50 shell gap energy towards germanium (Z=32) and a subsequent increase at gallium (Z=31). The data are compared with a number of theoretical models. An indication of the persistent rigidity of the shell gap towards nickel (Z=28) is obtained.  相似文献

Using a new fast cleaning procedure to prepare isomerically pure ion samples, we have measured the beta-decay Q(EC) values of the superallowed beta emitters 5(0)Mn and (54)Co to be 7634.48(7) and 8244.54(10) keV, respectively, results which differ significantly from the previously accepted values. The corrected Ft values derived from our results strongly support new isospin-symmetry-breaking corrections that lead to a higher value of the up-down quark mixing element V(ud) and improved confirmation of the unitarity of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix.  相似文献

Beta-decay branching ratios of 62Ga have been measured at the IGISOL facility of the Accelerator Laboratory of the University of Jyv?skyl?. 62Ga is one of the heavier T z = 0 , 0+ → 0+ β -emitting nuclides used to determine the vector coupling constant of the weak interaction and the Vud quark-mixing matrix element. For part of the experimental studies presented here, the JYFLTRAP facility has been employed to prepare isotopically pure beams of 62Ga . The branching ratio obtained, BR = 99.893(24) %, for the super-allowed branch is in agreement with previous measurements and allows to determine the ft value and the universal Ft value for the super-allowed β -decay of 62Ga .  相似文献

Differential cross sections for the elastic and inelastic scattering of 14.1 MeV neutrons from 209Bi have been measured with a time-of-flight system which had an energy resolution of 650 keV. For elastic scattering from 209Bi, an optical-model analysis gave the best-fit potential parameters. The absolute cross sections for excitation of collective (2.66 and 4.36 MeV) states are reproduced by the results of distorted-wave calculations under the assumption of a core (208Pb) excitation model using deformation parameters obtained from (p, p') reactions.  相似文献

27-Nor-24,25-dihydrolanosterol (27-nor-DHL), 26,27-dinor-24,25- dihydrolanosterol (26,27-dinor-DHL), and 25,26,27-trinor-24,25-dihydrolanosterol (25,26,27-trinor-DHL), analogs of 24,25-dihydrolanosterol (DHL) which have no C-27 carbon, C-26,27 carbons and C-25,26,27 carbons, were converted to the corresponding 14-demethylated products using a reconstituted monooxygenase system from rat liver microsomes which contained cytochrome P-450(14DM) catalyzing lanosterol 14-demethylation and reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH)-cytochrome P-450 reductase in the presence of NADPH and molecular oxygen. Each metabolite showed a relative retention time (RtR) of 0.72 with respect to each substrate in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) on a reversed-phase column. Comparison of each gas chromatography-mass spectrum and RtR value with those of the metabolite of DHL, 4,4-dimethyl-5 alpha-cholesta-8,14-dien-3 beta-ol, indicated that the metabolites could be inferred to be 27-nor-4,4-dimethyl-5 alpha-cholesta-8,14-dien-3 beta-ol, 26,27-dinor-4,4- dimethyl-5 alpha-cholesta-8,14-dien-3 beta-ol, and 25,26,27-trinor-4,4-dimethyl-5 alpha-cholesta-8,14-dien-3 beta-ol. However, 24,25,26,27-tetranor- and 23,24,25,26,27-pentanor analogs of DHL and 20-iso-24,25-dihydrolanosterol were not metabolized by the reconstituted enzyme system.  相似文献
