A new functional polymer where proline is bonded to polystyrene through a 1,2,3-triazole linker depicts characteristics targeted for an artificial aldolase. In spite of the hydrophobicity of the polymer backbone, the resin swells in water with building of an aqueous microenvironment. This property, arising from the formation of a hydrogen-bond network connecting the proline and 1,2,3-triazole fragments, is translated into a very high catalytic activity and enantioselectivity toward direct aldol reactions in water.  相似文献

The solvent and temperature dependence of the phototautomerization of 1-methyl-2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzimidazole (4) and the novel compounds 2-(4'-amino-2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzimidazole (1), 2-(4'-N,N-diethylamino-2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzimidazole (2), and 1-methyl-2-(4'-N,N-diethylamino-2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzimidazole (3), together with the ground-state rotamerism and tautomerism of these new compounds, have been studied by UV-vis absorption spectroscopy and steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy. A solvent-modulated rotameric and tautomeric equilibrium is observed in the ground state for 1, 2, and 3. In cyclohexane, these compounds mainly exist as a planar syn normal form, with the hydroxyl group hydrogen-bonded to the benzimidazole N3. In ethanol, the syn form is in equilibrium with its planar anti rotamer (for 1 and 2), with the phenyl ring rotated 180 degrees about the C2-C1' bond and with a nonplanar rotamer for compound 3. In aqueous solution, a tautomeric equilibrium is established between the anti normal form (or the nonplanar rotamer for 3) and the tautomer (with the hydroxyl proton transferred to the benzimidazole N3). The syn normal form of these compounds undergoes in all the solvents an excited-state intramolecular proton-transfer process from the hydroxyl group to the benzimidazole N3 to yield the excited tautomer. The tautomer fluorescence quantum yield of 2, 3, and 4 shows a temperature-, polarity-, and viscosity-dependent radiationless deactivation, connected with a large-amplitude conformational motion. We conclude that this excited-state conformational change experienced by the tautomer is associated with an intramolecular charge transfer from the deprotonated dialkylaminophenol or phenol (donor) to the protonated benzimidazole (acceptor), affording a nonfluorescent charge-transfer tautomer. Therefore, these compounds undergo an excited-state intramolecular coupled proton- and charge-transfer process.  相似文献

A general route for the preparation of a series of dianionic Mo3S7 cluster complexes bearing dithiolate or diselenolate ligands, namely, [Mo3S7L3](2-) (where L = tfd (bis(trifluoromethyl)-1,2-dithiolate) (4(2-)), bdt (1,2-benzenedithiolate) (5(2-)), dmid (1,3-dithia-2-one-4,5-dithiolate) (6(2-)), and dsit (1,3-dithia-2-thione-4,5-diselenolate) (7(2-))) is reported by direct reaction of [Mo3S7Br6](2-) and (n-Bu)2Sn(dithiolate). The redox properties, molecular structure, and electronic structure (BP86/VTZP) of the 4(2-) to 7(2-) clusters have also been investigated. The HOMO orbital in all complexes is delocalized over the ligand and the Mo3S7 cluster core. Ligand contributions to the HOMO range from 61.67% for 4(2-) to 82.07% for 7(2-), which would allow fine-tuning of the electronic and magnetic properties. These dianionic clusters present small energy gaps between the HOMO and HOMO-1 orbitals (0.277-0.104 eV). Complexes 6(2-) and 7(2-) are oxidized to the neutral state to afford microcrystalline or amorphous fine powders that exhibit semiconducting behavior and present antiferromagnetic exchange interactions. These compounds are new examples of the still rare single-component conductors based on cluster magnetic units.  相似文献

The solution structures of the novel heterobimetallic complexes [Ir(dppm)(Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2)PPPP){Pt(PPh(3))2}]OTf and [Rh(dppm)(Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2)PPPP){Pt(PPh(3))(2)}]OTf derived from the reaction of Rh and Ir--P(5) precursors with [Pt(C2H4)(PPh3)2] have been unambiguously assigned on the basis of 1H NMR and 31P{1H} NMR data. The results are in agreement with the regio-selective insertion of the {Pt(PPh3)2} moiety resulting in a new pentaphosphorus topology which agrees with the formal formation of a unique phosphonium(+)-tetraphosphabutadienide(2-) ligand.  相似文献

The Claisen-Schmidt reaction between 1,1′-diacetylferrocene and ferrocenecarboxaldehyde under microwave irradiation has been investigated in different conditions. The selective synthesis of 1,5-dioxo-3-ferrocenyl[5]ferrocenophane has been achieved and a simple protocol for its purification was established. The reaction was generally applicable to other non-enolizable aldehydes and the corresponding 1,5-dioxo-3-substituted [5]ferrocenophanes were obtained in high yield within 30 min.  相似文献

Enterococcus is a controversial genus due to its great variability; this genus includes pathogenic strains, spoilage strains, and apparently safe strains including some probiotic strains. Previous studies focused on the characterization of strains of Enterococcus spp. involved in nosocomial infections. However, little research has been conducted on Enterococcus strains in foodstuffs. In the present work, 36 strains of different species of Enterococcus have been characterized by means of MALDI‐TOF MS, resulting in highly specific mass spectral fingerprints. Characteristic peak masses common to certain bacterial species of Enterococcus have been identified. Thus, a peak at m/z 4426 ± 1 was assigned as a genus‐specific biomarker. In addition, phyloproteomic relationships based on the mass spectral data were compared to the results of a phylogenetic analysis based on the 16S rRNA gene sequence. A better grouping at the species level was observed in the phyloproteomic tree, especially for the Enterococcus faecium group. Presumably, the assortment of some strains or ecotypes could be related to their ecological niche specialization. The approach described in this study leads the way toward the rapid and specific identification of different strains and species of Enterococcus in food based on molecular protein markers, aiming at the early detection of pathogenic strains and strains implicated in food poisoning or food spoilage.  相似文献

Metal deactivator additives (MDAs) have been used for over 60 years to prevent metal catalyzed reactions in petroleum products; a commonly used metal deactivator is N,N′‐disalicylidene‐1,2‐propanediamine. The quantitation of low MDA concentrations in fuels is challenging due to the complexity of the sample matrix. In this work, this difficulty was overcome using GC × GC hyphenated with a nitrogen chemiluminescence detector. The high resolution power of GC × GC avoided co‐elution between the MDA and other sample matrix compounds; while the enhanced sensitivity of GC × GC and the use of a nitrogen chemiluminescence detector supplied a high sensitivity and specificity for nitrogen compounds. For the analysis, the MDA additive was derivatized with the silylation agent N,O‐bis (trimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide at room temperature and its quantitation was based on an external calibration curve; good linear response was obtained in the 1.4–8.6 ppm range.  相似文献
