X-ray excited fluorescence and phosphorescence of CaSO4: Sm phosphors

Calcium sulphate phosphors activated with samarium as an impurity with various percentage composition have been prepared and their fluorescence rise and phosphorescence decay behaviours have been studied. The growth curve is investigated to study the density of traps. The process of filling of traps during x-ray excitation is revealed. The decay curves are analysed to study the distribution of traps, the nature of decay and kinetics involved in the luminescence process. The concentration dependence of fluorescence emission of the phosphors is also discussed.     

Diethylene glycol ether-linked 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzamides as triply branched dendritic anchors to CdSe/ZnS core/shell type nanoparticles: potential hydrophilic fluorescent probes

Functionalized N-2-mercaptoethyl-gallamides bearing three or five hydroxyl units that are tethered with diethylene glycol ether(s) allow for transferring hydrophobically pyridine-capped CdSe/ZnS core/shell nanoparticles from an organic to an aqueous layer with intact fluorescent profiles.     

Bulk Viscus Fluid Plane Symmetric String Dust Magnetised Cosmological Model in General Relativity

In this paper we have investigated bulk viscous fluid plane symmetric dust magnetized string cosmological model. To get a deterministic model, it is assumed that ε=λ, and a relation between metric potential B=RA ⁿ . The behaviour of the model in the presence and absence of magnetic field together with physical and geometrical aspects of the model are also discussed.     

Heteroatom‐Guided,Palladium‐Catalyzed,Site‐Selective CH Arylation of 4H‐Chromenes: Diastereoselective Assembly of the Core Structure of Myristinin B through Dual CH Functionalization

A highly site‐selective, heteroatom‐guided, palladium‐catalyzed direct arylation of 4H‐chromenes is reported. The C?H functionalization is driven not only by the substituents and structure of the substrate but also by the coupling partner being used. The diastereoselective assembly of the core structure of Myristinin B has been achieved by using a dual C?H functionalization strategy for regioselective direct arylation.

Sodium 2-(2-pyridin-3-ylethylamino)sulfonate: an efficient ligand and base for palladium-catalyzed Heck reaction in aqueous media

The first successful Pd(OAc)₂, N-donor ligand and base mediated Heck coupling reaction of aryl halides and alkenes in water is described. The corresponding Heck products were obtained in good to excellent yields.     

N‐donor ligand as catalyst: A simple aza‐michael addition reaction in aqueous media

A novel approach for the Aza‐Michael addition reactions between various amines and α,β‐unsaturated esters, nitriles and ketones using N‐donor Ligand catalyst (3 mol %) is described. The reactions are carried out in aqueous media at an ambient temperature to afford the products in excellent yields.
