A unique tautomer of 1‐n‐hexyl‐3‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐5‐ol

In the title compound, C₁₅H₂₀N₂O, the bond distances and angles are consistent with the presence of the hydroxy tautomer. This tautomer was unambiguously determined by the clear presence of a H atom bonded to oxygen, as well as the total absence of any residual electron density around the N atom in the heterocycle, thus precluding any possibility of desmotropism.     

聚醚桥连二异羟肟酸单核和双核过渡金属配合物催化PNPP水解

Two polyether bridged dihydroxamic acids and their mono-and binuclear manganese(Ⅱ), zinc(Ⅱ) complexes have been synthesized and employed as models to mimic hydrolase in catalytic hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl picolinate (PNPP). The reaction kinetics and the mechanism of hydrolysis of PNPP have been investigated. The kinetic mathematical model for PNPP cleaved by the complexes has been proposed. The effects of the different central metal ion, mono-and binuclear metal, the pseudo-macrocyclic polyether constructed by polyethoxy group of the complexes, and reactive temperature on the rate for catalytic hydrolysis of PNPP have been examined. The results showed that the transition metal dthydroxamates exhibited high catalytic activity to the hydrolysis of PNPP, the catalytic activity of binuclear complexes was higher than that of mononuclear ones, and the pseudo-macrocyclic polyether might synergetically activate H20 coordinated to metal ion with central metal ion together and promote the catalytic hydrolysis of PNPP.     

新型除草剂及其杂质的LC-MS和GC-MS分析

High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) have been utilized to analyze the synthesized 2-(2-arylaminomethylphenoxy)pyrimidine derivatives, which are a new kind of environmentally benign herbicides and have passed the temporary pesticide registration. The identification of main product and impurities has been achieved according to the UV and mass spectra. Moreover, one impurity, introduced by the raw material in the last step of the synthetic route, was identified by GC-MS analysis. It can be concluded that the combination of chromatography and mass spectrometry, including LC-MS and GC-MS, provided a vital tool of the pesticide science.     

Direct observation of C2 hydrocarbon-oxygen complexes on Ag(110) with a variable-low-temperature scanning tunneling microscope

A variable-low-temperature scanning tunneling microscope (STM) was used to observe oxygen (O2), ethylene (C2H4), and acetylene (C2H2) molecules on a Ag(110) surface and the various complexes that were formed between these two hydrocarbons and oxygen at 13 K. Ethylene molecule(s) were moved to the vicinity of O2 either by STM tunneling electrons at 13 K or thermally at 45 K to form (C2H4)x-O2 (x = 1-4) complexes stabilized by C-H...O hydrogen bonding. Acetylene-oxygen complexes involving one or two acetylene molecules were observed.     

Synthesis of Some Novel 3,6‐Bis(1,2,3‐triazolyl)‐s‐triazolo[3,4‐b]‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole Derivatives

The cyclization of 1‐amino‐2‐mercapto‐5‐[1‐(4‐ethoxyphenyl)‐5‐methyl‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl]‐1,3,4‐triazole which was synthesized from p‐ethoxyaniline with various triazole acid in absolute phosphorus oxychloride yields 3,6‐bis(1,2,3‐triazolyl)‐s‐triazolo[3,4‐b]‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole derivatives 9a?j , and their structures are established by MS, IR, CHN and ¹H NMR spectral data.     

Hydrogen bonding and π–π stacking in 6‐hydroxy­biochanin A monohydrate

In the lattice of the title compound (systematic name: 5,6,7‐trihydroxy‐4′‐meth­oxy­isoflavone monohydrate), C₁₆H₁₂O₆·H₂O, the isoflavone mol­ecules are linked into chains through R₄³(17) motifs composed via O—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Centrosymmetric R₄²(14) motifs assemble the chains into sheets. Hydrogen‐bonding and aromatic π–π stacking inter­actions lead to the formation of a three‐dimensional network structure.     

High-performance liquid affinity chromatography for the purification of immunoglobulin A from human serum using jacalin

A high-performance liquid affinity chromatographic method for the purification of serum immunoglobulin A (IgA) using a jacalin column is described. The automated procedure takes about 2 with minimal manipulation. The yields of the isolated IgA and of its IgG and IgM contamination were studied by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) of 30 sera. Purity was assured by immunoelectrophoresis. The ratio of IgA1 to total IgA was unchanged after purification, as verified by ELISA. The results showed that greater than 90% IgA could be recovered with less than 0.5% total IgG and greater than 2.0% total IgM remaining in the fractions containing purified IgA.     

1,2,4-benzothiadiazine 1,1-dioxides 3. Reactions of 2-aminobenzenesulfonamide with chloroalkyl isocyanates

Reactions of 2-aminobenzenesulfonamide ( 1 ) with allyl, methyl, 2-chloroethyl aor 3-chloropropyl isocyanates gave 2-(methylureido)-, 2-(allylureido)-, 2-(2′-chloroethylureido)- and 2-(3′-chloropropylureido)-benzene sulfonamides 3a,b and 7a,b in excellent yields. Treatment of 3a,b at refluxing temperature of DMF afforded 2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazin-3(4H)-one 1,1-dioxide ( 4 ) in good yield. However, when compounds 7a,b were refluxed in 2-propanol, 3-(2′-aminoethoxy)-2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine 1,1-dioxide ( 11a ) and 3-(3′-aminopropoxy)-2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine 1,1-dioxide ( 11b ) were obtained in a form of the hydrochloride salts 10a,b in 87% and 78% yields respectively. Heating 11b in ethanol gave a dimeric form of 2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazin-3(4H)-one 1,1-dioxide and 3-(3′-aminopropoxy)-2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine 1,1-dioxide ( 12 ) in 55% yield. Treating of 7a,b or 11a,b with triethylamine at the refluxing temperature of 2-propanol afforded 3-(2′-hydroxyethylamino)-2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine 1,1-dioxide ( 2a ) and 3-(3′-hydroxypropylamine)-2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine 1,1-dioxide ( 2b ) via a Smiles rearrangement.     

Spectrophotometric method for the determination of sorbic acid in various food samples with iron(III) and 2-thiobarbituric acid as reagents

A simple, rapid and accurate spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of sorbic acid in various food samples based on the oxidation of sorbic acid by iron(III) at 100 degrees C to malonaldehyde, which then reacts with 2-thiobarbituric acid to form a reddish brown product. The optimum experimental conditions for colour development have been assessed. Absorbance measurements were made at 529 nm in the presence of 0.4% m/V citric acid. The calibration graph was linear for 0-6 micrograms ml-1 of sorbic acid with a slope of 0.131 A micrograms-1 ml. The recoveries of sorbic acid at concentrations of 164-557 micrograms ml-1 ranged from 96 to 103%. The relative standard deviations of ten replicate determinations of sorbic acid in a synthetic cream soda sample spiked with 573 micrograms ml-1 of sorbic acid and in an onion juice sample containing 82 micrograms ml-1 of sorbic acid were 1.6 and 1.9%, respectively. Interferences from several common food additives can be minimised by extracting sorbic acid with diethyl ether and then back-extracting the acid with sodium hydrogen carbonate. The method has been applied successfully to the determination of sorbic acid in a wide range of food samples including beverages, cake, cake mate, garlic bread sprinkle, onion juice, oyster flavoured sauce and grenadine syrup.     

Tris（2,2＇-bipyridyl） Ruthenium（Ⅱ） Doped Silica Film Modified Indium Tin Oxide Electrode and Its Electrochemiluminescent Properties

An approach was reported to synthesize silica hybridized ruthenium bipyridyl complex through amidation reaction by covalent attachment of bis（bipyridyl）-4,4＇-dicarboxy-2,2＇-bipyridyl-ruthenium to （3-aminopropyl）-triethoxysilane. The hybrid complex then was gelatinized through acid catalytic hydrolysis method and a sol-gel modified indium tin oxide electrode was prepared via spin coating technique. As prepared indium tin oxide electrode possesses good stability therein with excellent electrochemiluminescence behavior.
