A series of N-[2-(2-naphthyl)ethyl]piperazinyl quinolones containing a carbonyl related functional groups (oxo- or oxyimino-) on the ethyl spacer was synthesized and evaluated for antibacterial activity. The synthesis of N-[2-(2-naphthyl)ethyl]piperazinyl quinolones was achieved through the versatile and efficient synthetic route that involved reaction of piperazinyl quinolones with appropriate α-bromoketone or α-bromooxime derivatives. The structures of new compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR and NMR spectra. Antibacterial data indicated that some of the new N-[2-(2-naphthyl)ethyl]piperazinyl quinolones showed good antibacterial activity and modification of the position 8 and N-1 substituent on quinolone ring, and ethyl spacer functionality produced significant changes in activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.  相似文献

A novel kind of aromatic diamine,N-(4-(4-(2,6-diphenyl pyridine-4-yl)phenoxy)phenyl)-3,5-diaminobezamide (DPDAB),was synthesized via aromatic nucleophilic substitution of 3,5-dinitrobenzoylchloride with 4-(4-(2,6- diphenylpyridine-4-yl)phenoxy)aniline(DPPA),followed by palladium-catalyzed hydrazine reduction.This monomer was used to prepare polyimides(PIs)based on reaction with several commerically avaiable tetracarboxylic dianhydrides such as pyromellatic dianhydride(PMDA),benzophenone tetracarboxylic acide dianhydride(BTDA)and bicycle[2.2.2]oct-7-enc- 2,3,5,6-tetracarboxylic dianhydride(BCDA).These PIs had inherent viscosity in the range of 0.34-0.76 dL/g and showed good solubility in various aprotic polar solvents.The glass-transition tempratures(T_gs)of the PIs were in the range of 184-302℃,and showed high thermal stability with 10%weight loss in the temperature range of 360-500℃under nitrogen atmosphere.  相似文献

The Cu–P and Cu–P–SiC composite coatings on carbon steel substrates were deposited via electroless plating. The anti-corrosion properties of Cu–P and Cu–P–SiC coatings were studied in 3.5% NaCl solution. The anti-corrosion properties of Cu–P and Cu–P–SiC coatings were investigated in 3.5% NaCl solution by the weight loss, potentiodynamic polarisation and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques. It has been found that the shift in the corrosion potential (Ecorr) towards the noble direction, decrease in the corrosion current density (Icorr), increase in the charge transfer resistance (Rct) and decrease in the double layer capacitance (Cdl) values indicated an improvement in corrosion resistance with the incorporation of SiC particles in the Cu–P matrix. The effects of varying the SiC concentration on the corrosion resistance of carbon steel were investigated and it was found that the best anti-corrosion property of Cu–P–SiC is at 5 g L?1 SiC in the bath formulation.  相似文献

Abstract . A cadmium(II) zero-dimensional supramolecular compound [Cd(L)2(I)2] ( 1 ), {L = 2-picolylamine}, was fabricated by branch tube and sonochemical irradiation techniques. Regardless of the method utilized, the same crystallographic structure is obtained for the complex. To investigate the effects of reaction time and solvent on the creation of [Cd(L)2(I)2] ( 1 ) supramolecule compound, certain tests were designed and four specimens of 1 were fabricated through sonochemical process. Less reaction time led to the creation of smaller particles with mixed morphologies. To prepare cadmium(II) oxide micro-crystals via calcination, four samples were utilized as new precursors. Micro- and nano-sphere of cadmium(II) oxide could be fabricated from 1. The morphology and structure of micro- and nano-crystals were identified by using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), IR spectroscopy, and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD).  相似文献

There is an increasing interest in using pomegranate juice as a natural antioxidant rather than synthetic compounds. In this study, the antioxidant capacities of probioticated and nonprobioticated aril juices of sweet (SWV) and sour (SV) pomegranate cultivars were determined by two different methods: ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) and 1,1-diphenyl 2-picrylhydrazyl assay. Total counts of Lactobacillus casei GG increased by about 3 log in SWV and 2 log in SV juices after incubation for 48 h. Probiotication improved the antioxidant activity of SWV juice from 74.4% to 91.82%, and SV juice from 82.64% to 97.8%. Based on the FRAP value, the reducing power of the probioticated pomegranate juices was also much stronger than the nonprobioticated juices. The FRAP values for SWV and SV probioticated juices were 97.34 and 120.7 mmol L(-1), respectively, which were notably higher than 85.87 and 93.4 mmol L(-1) for SWV and SV nonprobioticated juices. Both fermentated and nonfermentated juices exhibited a potent and wide-spectrum antibacterial effect, with the highest activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa. SV juice showed wider zones of growth inhibition. The results of this study verify for the first time that probiotication of SWV and SV pomegranate juices can add to their beneficial antioxidant activities.  相似文献

A simple and rapid method using coupled bioluminescent assay was developed to determine level of ADP. ADP is involved in many biological reactions and ADP assay can be used for assaying some reactions universally by monitoring ADP formation or depletion. ADP analysis involves incubation of ADP or extracts containing ADP with pyruvate kinase (PK) and PEP. The ATP formed by this reaction is determined by measuring the intensity of the initial light flash produced when luciferin-luciferase preparation injected into the reaction mixture. In regard to the main role of the PK in this assay, the gene of PK from a Geobacillus species has been cloned in expression vector pET28a (+), sequenced and overexpressed in Escherichia coli. Recombinant protein was purified using Ni-NTA column and then the purified PK was used in a coupled bioluminescent assay for ADP measurement. Kinetic properties of PK are determined according to a bioluminescent assay using firefly luciferase.  相似文献
