We present a robust algorithm to detect the arrival of a boat of a certain type when other background noises are present. It is done via the analysis of its acoustic signature against an existing database of recorded and processed acoustic signals. We characterize the signals by the distribution of their energies among blocks of wavelet packet coefficients. To derive the acoustic signature of the boat of interest, we use the Best Discriminant Basis method. The decision is made by combining the answers from the Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) classifier and from the Classification and Regression Trees (CART) that is also accompanied with an additional unit, called Aisles, that reduces false alarms rate. The proposed algorithm is a generic solution for process control that is based on a learning phase (training) followed by an automatic real time detection while minimizing the false alarms rate.  相似文献

A simple scheme for a switchable multi-wavelength erbium-doped fiber (EDF) ring laser is investigated by using a single stage of a Sagnac loop mirror. The multiple lasing outputs are obtained and switched readily by controlling the state of polarization (SOP). Since the transmission characteristics of the Sagnac loop mirror in terms of peak wavelengths and peak powers strongly depend on the SOP, the switching performance of the proposed multi-wavelength EDF laser can be effectively obtained. The proposed multi-wavelength EDF laser has versatile lasing outputs in states of a single-, dual-, triple-, and quadruple-wavelength oscillations. The multiple outputs are effectively switchable by adjusting the SOP.  相似文献

We find that PL intensity I(t) of SrTiO3 thin film measured under UHV condition increases with UV-laser illumination over long time scale of ∼ 2 h. The intensity increase takes place at lower sample temperature as well, 200, 100 K, and 20 K. When O2 and N2 gas are introduced into the sample chamber the PL intensity decreases with the UV-illumination time, opposite to the UHV-case. We consider a quantitative thermal energy flow model of the laser-power and heat absorption by the sample, but find that temperature change of the sample is not large enough to account for the time dependent I(t). We propose photo-catalysis effect on STO surface as possible scenario of the PL intensity change.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a method for obtaining sharp interfaces in two-phase incompressible flows by an anti-diffusion correction, that is applicable in a straight-forward fashion for the improvement of two-phase flow solution schemes typically employed in practical applications. The underlying discretization is based on the volume-of-fluid (VOF) interface-capturing method on unstructured meshes. The key idea is to steepen the interface, independently of the underlying volume-fraction transport equation, by solving a diffusion equation with reverse time, i.e. an anti-diffusion equation, after each advection time step of the volume fraction. As the solution of the anti-diffusion equation requires regularization, a limiter based on the directional derivative is developed for calculating the gradient of the volume fraction. This limiter ensures the boundedness of the volume fraction. In order to control the amount of anti-diffusion introduced by the correction algorithm we propose a suitable stopping criterion for interface steepening. The formulation of the limiter and the algorithm for solving the anti-diffusion equation are applicable to 3-dimensional unstructured meshes. Validation computations are performed for passive advection of an interface, for 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional rising-bubbles, and for a rising drop in a periodically constricted channel. The results demonstrate that sharp interfaces can be recovered reliably. They show that the accuracy is similar to or even better than that of level-set methods using comparable discretizations for the flow and the level-set evolution. Also, we observe a good agreement with experimental results for the rising drop where proper interface evolution requires accurate mass conservation.  相似文献

Al-Al2O3 composite coatings with different Al2O3 particle shapes were prepared on Si and Al substrate by cold spray. The powder compositions of metal (Al) and ceramic (Al2O3) having different sizes and agglomerations were varied into ratios of 10:1 wt% and 1:1 wt%. Al2O3 particles were successfully incorporated into the soft metal matrix of Al. It was found that crater formation between the coatings and substrate, which is typical characteristic signature of cold spray could be affected by initial starting Al2O3 particles. In addition, when the large hard particles of fused Al2O3 were employed, the deep and big craters were generated at the interface between coatings and hard substrates. In the case of pure soft metal coating such as Al on hard substrate, it is very hard to get proper adhesion due to lack of crater formation. Therefore, the composite coating would have certain advantages.  相似文献

We investigate the gauge/gravity duality between the \(\mathcal{N} = 6\) mass-deformed ABJM theory with \(\hbox {U}_k(N)\times \hbox {U}_{-k}(N)\) gauge symmetry and the 11-dimensional supergravity on LLM geometries with SO(2,1)\(\times \)SO(4)/\({\mathbb {Z}}_k\) \(\times \)SO(4)/\({\mathbb {Z}}_k\) isometry, in terms of a KK holography, which involves quadratic order field redefinitions. We establish the quadratic order KK mappings for various gauge invariant fields in order to obtain the canonical 4-dimensional gravity equations of motion and to reduce the LLM solutions to an asymptotically AdS\(_4\) gravity solutions. The non-linearity of the KK maps indicates that we can observe the true purpose of the non-linear KK holography of the LLM solutions. We read the vacuum expectation value of conformal dimension two operator from the asymptotically AdS\(_4\) gravity solutions. For the LLM solutions which are represented by square-shaped Young diagrams, we compare the vacuum expectation value obtained from the holographic procedure with the result obtained from the field theory, which is given by \(\langle \mathcal{O}^{(\Delta =2)}\rangle =\sqrt{k}N^{\frac{3}{2}}f_{(\Delta =2)}+\mathcal{O}(N)\), where \(f_{\Delta }\) is independent of N. Based on this result, we examine the gauge/gravity duality in the large N limit and finite k. We also show that the vacuum expectation values of the massive KK graviton modes are vanishing as expected by the supersymmetry.  相似文献

The performance characteristics of aluminised high explosive are considered by varying the aluminium (Al) mass fraction in a hybrid non-ideal detonation model. Since the time scales of the characteristic induction and combustion of high explosives and Al particles differ, the process of energy release behind the leading detonation wave front occurs over an extended period of time. Two cardinal observations are reported: a decrease in detonation velocity with an increase in Al mass fraction and a double front detonation (DFD) feature when anaerobic Al reaction occurs behind the front. In order to simulate the performance characteristics due to the varying Al mass fraction, the tetrahexamine tetranitramine (HMX) is considered as a base high explosive when formulating the multiphase conservation laws of mass, momentum, and energy exchanges between particles and HMX product gases. While experimental studies have been reported on the effect of Al mass fraction on both gas-phase and solid-phase detonations, the numerical investigations have been limited to only gas-phase detonation for the varying Al particles in the mixture. In the current study, a two-phase model is utilised for understanding the volumetric effects of Al mass fraction in condensed phase detonations. A series of unconfined and confined rate sticks are considered for characterising the performance of aluminised HMX with a maximum Al mass fraction of 50%. The simulated results are compared with the experimental data for 5–25% mass fractions, and the higher mass fraction behaviours are consistent with the experimental observations.  相似文献

In this study, we propose a mathematical model and perform numerical simulations for the antibubble dynamics. An antibubble is a droplet of liquid surrounded by a thin film of a lighter liquid, which is also in a heavier surrounding fluid. The model is based on a phase-field method using a conservative Allen-Cahn equation with a space-time dependent Lagrange multiplier and a modified Navier-Stokes equation. In this model, the inner fluid, middle fluid and outer fluid locate in specific diffusive layer regions according to specific phase filed (order parameter) values. If we represent the antibubble with conventional binary or ternary phase-field models, then it is difficult to have stable thin film. However, the proposed approach can prevent nonphysical breakup of fluid film during the simulation. Various numerical tests are performed to verify the efficiency of the proposed model.  相似文献

A novel integral imaging-based three-dimensional (3D) digital watermarking scheme is presented. In the proposed method, an elemental image array (EIA) obtained by recording the rays coming from a 3D object through a pinhole array in the integral imaging system is employed as a new 3D watermark. The EIA is composed of a number of small elemental images having their own perspectives of a 3D object, and from this recorded EIA various depth-dependent 3D object images can be reconstructed by using the computational integral imaging reconstruction (CIIR) technique. This 3D property of the EIA watermark can make a robust reconstruction of the watermark image available even though there are some data losses in the embedded watermark by attacks. To show the robustness of the proposed scheme against attacks, some experiments are carried out and the results are discussed.  相似文献

Based on the results of scanning tunneling microscopy studies of the reconstructed Si(5 5 12)-2 × 1 surface, its atomic structure has been found. It turns out that Si(5 5 12)-2 × 1 consists of four one-dimensional structures: honeycomb (H) chain, π-bonded H′ (π) chain, dimer-adatom (D/A) row, and tetramer (T) row. Its period is composed of three subunits, i.e., (i) (3 3 7) unit with a D/A row [D(3 3 7)], (ii) (3 3 7) unit with a T row [T(3 3 7)], and (iii) (2 2 5) unit with both a D/A and a T row. Two kinds of adjacent subunits, T(3 3 7)/D(3 3 7) and D(3 3 7)/(2 2 5), are divided by H chains with 2× periodicity due to buckling, while one kind of adjacent subunits, T(3 3 7)/(2 2 5), is divided by a π chain with 1× periodicity. Two chain structures, H and π chains, commute with each other depending upon the external stresses perpendicular to the chain, which is the same for two row structures, D/A and T rows. It can be concluded that the wide and planar reconstruction of Si(5 5 12)-2 × 1 is originates from the stress balance among two commutable chains and two commutable rows.  相似文献
