The Higgs sector is extended in R  -symmetric supersymmetry theories by two iso-doublets Rd,uRd,u which complement the standard iso-doublets Hd,uHd,u. We have analyzed masses and interactions of these novel states and describe their [non-standard] decay modes and their production channels at the LHC and e+ee+e colliders.  相似文献

Pre-scission and post-scission multiplicities of neutrons and alpha particles have been simultaneously measured for the fission-like reactions of 340 MeV 28Si on 232Th. Dynamical model calculations using HICOL code predict that about 90% of the observed events are of quasi-fission type while the remaining 10% are from compound nucleus fission decay. Moving source fits were carried out to the observed neutron and alpha particle spectra, measured at different angles with respect to the fragment directions. The pre-scission and post-scission neutron multiplicities are deduced to be 8.7±2.0 and 9.4±2.0, respectively. The corresponding multiplicity values for alpha particles are found to be 0.22±0.08 and 0.1±0.03. From the measured post-scission neutron multiplicity, it is inferred that about 65±20 MeV of the initial excitation energy remains at scission. This may be compared to the value of 85±30 MeV estimated from PACE2 statistical model calculations, adjusted to reproduce the measured pre-scission neutron multiplicity. From a comparison of the Statistical Model predictions with the measured pre-scission neutron multiplicity, the fission delay is estimated to be of 5+7−3×10−20 s which overlaps with the average duration of fission-like process from the contact to the scission point (2×10−20 s) as determined from HICOL-based dynamical calculations. For the delay time deduced as above, the pre-scission alpha particle multiplicity calculated by the PACE2 code is about a factor two larger than the experimental one, demonstrating the difficulties in modelling the alpha particle emission from highly elongated shapes that characterize the fissioning system from the contact point to scission.  相似文献

Junction conditions are studied at the boundary of a sphere consisting of a charged viscous fluid with outgoing heat and radiation flux. The motion is anisotropic and the matching is done with the exterior Reissner-Nordström-Vaidya metric. A general relation in terms of the energy-momentum tensor componentsT 1 1 andT 4 1 is satisfied at the boundary hypersurface and this relation gives appropriate physical conditions in different special cases, some of which were obtained previously.  相似文献

Event-by-event fluctuations of the average transverse momentum of produced particles near midrapidity have been measured by the PHENIX Collaboration in square root of (sNN)=200 GeV Au+Au, and p+p collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The fluctuations are observed to be in excess of the expectation for statistically independent particle emission for all centralities. The excess fluctuations exhibit a dependence on both the centrality of the collision and on the pT range over which the average is calculated. Both the centrality and pT dependence can be well reproduced by a simulation of random particle production with the addition of contributions from hard-scattering processes.  相似文献

Laser flash photolysis of phenazine (PZ) solution reveals the existence of a stable species with a long lifetime at 380 nm in addition to the usual triplet PZ at 440 nm. The former is suggested to be due to formation of triplet PZ excimer. The triplet excimer also undergoes photoinduced electron transfer with some aromatic amines. The formation of PZ dimer anion radical and amine cation radicals are confirmed by external magnetic field effect studies. Measurement of B1/2, which estimates hyperfine present in the system, also supports this assignment.  相似文献

The anisotropy parameter (v(2)), the second harmonic of the azimuthal particle distribution, has been measured with the PHENIX detector in Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s(NN)]=200 GeV for identified and inclusive charged particle production at central rapidities (|eta|<0.35) with respect to the reaction plane defined at high rapidities (|eta|=3-4 ). We observe that the v(2) of mesons falls below that of (anti)baryons for p(T)>2 GeV/c, in marked contrast to the predictions of a hydrodynamical model. Semiconductor nanoparticle and conducting polymer composite is an interesting class of materials for optoelectronic and photovoltaic device application. We have synthesized a composite of nanocrystalline PbS and conducting polymer MEH-PPV by chemical synthesis and studied the effect of swift heavy ion (SHI) irradiation on the composite material. The irradiation of the composite materials in thin film form is carried out with 120 MeV Si+9 ion beam at fluences from 5×1010 to 1013 ions/cm2. Fluence dependent optical and structural properties have been observed in optical absorption, PL and TEM studies. Reduction of nanoparticle size has been observed after irradiation.  相似文献
