The possibility provided by Chemometrics to extract and combine (fusion) information contained in NIR and MIR spectra in order to discriminate monovarietal extra virgin olive oils according to olive cultivar (Casaliva, Leccino, Frantoio) has been investigated.Linear discriminant analysis (LDA) was applied as a classification technique on these multivariate and non-specific spectral data both separately and jointly (NIR and MIR data together).In order to ensure a more appropriate ratio between the number of objects (samples) and number of variables (absorbance at different wavenumbers), LDA was preceded either by feature selection or variable compression. For feature selection, the SELECT algorithm was used while a wavelet transform was applied for data compression.Correct classification rates obtained by cross-validation varied between 60% and 90% depending on the followed procedure. Most accurate results were obtained using the fused NIR and MIR data, with either feature selection or data compression.Chemometrical strategies applied to fused NIR and MIR spectra represent an effective method for classification of extra virgin olive oils on the basis of the olive cultivar. 相似文献

A pressurised liquid extraction (PLE) method for extraction and quantification of total fat and oil in bread and derivatives products has been proposed. Parameters implied in the extraction process; such us temperature, static time, number of extraction cycles, purge time and flush volume; have been optimised using a formal methodology based on statistical experimental design in order to obtain the best results. Moreover, this method has been validated using homemade bread elaborated in the laboratory which contained 9.64 g of olive oil in 100 g dry weight. The production and use of an “ad hoc” in-house reference material is just one of the most relevant aspects of this study. The uncertainty estimation has been carried out taking into account all the uncertainty components of the process and it was stated as 4.2%. The metabolic profiling of kiwifruit (Actinidia deliciosa, Hayward cultivar) aqueous extracts and the water status of entire kiwifruits were monitored over the season (June-December) using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) methodologies. The metabolic profiling of aqueous kiwifruit extracts was investigated by means of high field NMR spectroscopy. A large number of water-soluble metabolites were assigned by means of 1D and 2D NMR experiments. The change in the metabolic profiles monitored over the season allowed the kiwifruit development to be investigated. Specific temporal trends of aminoacids, sugars, organic acids and other metabolites were observed.The water status of kiwifruits was monitored directly on the intact fruit measuring the T2 spin-spin relaxation time by means of a portable unilateral NMR instrument, fully non-invasive. Again, clear trends of the relaxation time were observed during the monitoring period.The results show that the monitoring of the metabolic profiling and the monitoring of the water status are two complementary means suitable to have a complete view of the investigated fruit. 相似文献

Four novel amphiphilic cholesterol-based and sugar-contained low-molecular-mass gelators (LMMGs) were designed and prepared. According to the structures of the linkers, which are ethylenediamine, 1,3-propanediamine, 1,4-butanediamine, and 1,6-hexane- diamine, these compounds are denoted as 1, 2, 3 and 4, respectively. Gelation tests revealed that 2, 3 and 4 start to gel xylene at concentrations of 0.090%, 0.022%, and 0.016% (w/v), respectively, which are typical ‘super-gelators’. Moreover, these xylene gel systems also possess film formation property. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) measurements demonstrated that the aggregation behaviors of the compounds are greatly affected by the structures of the linkers. 1H NMR spectroscopy studies revealed that intermolecular hydrogen bonding formation plays an important role for the formation of the gels. X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies showed that 1 possesses a layered structure in its 1-pentanol gel, a similar structure to that of it in solid state. Gelator 3 also possesses a similar structure in its THF gel, but different from that of it in solid state. The addition of primary and secondary aliphatic amines to glycal-derived allyl epoxides is completely 1,2-regio- and anti-stereoselective, whereas mixtures of the corresponding anti-1,2- [3-N-(substituted-amino) glycals] and anti-1,4-addition products (N-glycosyl amines) are obtained with N-(mesyl)-aziridines. In this way, structural moieties, otherwise difficult to synthesize, are obtained by means of a very simple protocol. Even though the macrolides of the iejimalide family are of marine origin, whereas those of the archazolid series derive from terrestrial myxobacteria, a comparison of their constitution, stereochemistry, and biological activity suggests that these natural products are close structural and functional relatives. Guided by this perception, compound 5 was prepared, which hybridizes the macrolactone core of iejimalide B (2) with the tail of archazolid A (3). The cytotoxicity profile of this chimera, as determined with a panel of 12 human cancer cell lines, corresponds to that of the parent compound 2, although its potency is lower. This outcome may be interpreted on the basis of molecular dynamics calculations, which suggest that the low energy conformations of 2 and 5 are similar but the energetic barriers between the relevant conformers are distinctly higher for the hybrid structure. The synthesis of 5 hinged on a regioselective functionalization of 2,4-dibromothiazole 6, a highly selective CBS-reduction of ketone 8, a Suzuki cross coupling of vinyl boronate 17 with the elaborate alkenyl iodide 16, and a productive closure of the macrocycle by RCM, which requires the selective activation of two out of eight double bonds present in the cyclization precursor 20 by the second-generation Grubbs catalyst 21. 相似文献

The complexation of the natural antioxidants α‐lipoic acid (ALA) and its reduced form dihydrolipoic acid (DHLA) with Hg2+ was investigated by a recently proposed differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) method using the rotating Au‐disk electrode. Complexation processes are proposed from the multivariate curve resolution by alternating least squares (MCR‐ALS) analysis of DPV titration data. Main complexes were both 1 : 1 Hg : ALA and Hg : DHLA, although the formation of 1 : 2 complexes can be also deduced. ALA and DHLA show different Hg2+‐binding patterns at different pH. PLA and PCL nanocomposites prepared by adding 5 wt% of a sepiolite (SEPS9) were degraded in compost, leading to effective degradation for all samples.PLA and PLA/SEPS9 seem to be mainly degraded by a bulk mechanism, showing a significant level of polymer degradation, however the presence of SEPS9 particles partially delays the degradation probably due to a preventing effect of these particles on polymer chain mobility and/or PLA/enzymes miscibility. PCL and PCL/SEPS9 showed a preferential surface mechanism of degradation; and in contrast to PLA, sepiolite does not present a considerable barrier effect on the degradation of PCL. 相似文献
