Harmonic radiation generated in a neon gas jet by sub-10-fs laser pulses was investigated both experimentally and theoretically. The spectral profile of the harmonics with respect to the order, their intensity and relative spectral shifts were measured as a function of the position of the gas jet. The results point out spectral features typical of the quasi-single-cycle excitation regime. A nonadiabatic three-dimensional numerical model was developed, which provides harmonic spectra in remarkable agreement with the experiments.  相似文献

The simultaneous vertical‐cavity and random lasing emission properties of a blue‐emitting molecular crystal are investigated. The 1,1,4,4‐tetraphenyl‐1,3‐butadiene samples, grown by physical vapour transport, feature room‐temperature stimulated emission peaked at about 430 nm. Fabry‐Pérot and random resonances are primed by the interfaces of the crystal with external media and by defect scatterers, respectively. The analysis of the resulting lasing spectra evidences the existence of narrow peaks due to both the built‐in vertical Fabry‐Pérot cavity and random lasing in a novel, surface‐emitting configuration and threshold around 500 μJ cm−2. The anti‐correlation between different modes is also highlighted, due to competition for gain. Molecular crystals with optical gain candidate as promising photonic media inherently supporting multiple lasing mechanisms.  相似文献

Novel complexes hal2Sntrid, where hal ? Cl, Br, and trid2? are dianions of ?planar”? tridentate ligands with ONO and SNO donor basic atoms, were synthesized and structurally investigated in the solid state mainly by far infrared and MÖSSBAUER spectroscopy. Possible configurations were advanced and discussed, and it was concluded that the most probable is a monomeric trigonal bipyramidal structure for all compounds, although polymers, or dimers with O or Cl bridges, were not a priori excluded, in a special way for Br2Sntrid.  相似文献

The synthesis of 10-oxo-5H-pyrrolo[1,2-b]isoquinoline-3-acetic acid 4 , a tricyclic analogue of tolmetin which might show significant analgesic-antiinflammatory activity, has been accomplished in four steps. Alkylation of ethyl 2-pyrrolylglyoxylate ( 15 ) with 2-cyanobenzyl bromide afforded derivative 16 , which was transformed by the Huang-Minion reaction into the dicarboxylic acid 6 . Cyclization of this key intermediate to 17 , followed by alkaline hydrolysis, afforded 10-oxo-5H-pyrrolo[1,2–6]isoquinoline-3-acetic acid ( 4 ). Various attempted syntheses of 6 are also discussed.  相似文献

A convenient strategy for the preparation of compounds bearing the benzofuran skeleton starting from tyrosol, a phenol largely present in olive oil production waste, with no biological importance, is reported. A bromination/methoxylation sequence, already described for the synthetic transformation of naturally occurring compounds, was exploited. Depending on the solvent used for the methoxylation reaction together with the presence of a 4-phenol moiety respect to the side chain, benzodihydrofurans or a benzofurans derivative can be obtained.  相似文献

We report on a sub-20-fs transient absorption study of the S2(1(1)B(+)(u))-->S1(2(1)A(-)(g)) internal conversion in a series of carotenoids with a number of conjugated double bonds (N) ranging from 5 to 15. For the longer carotenoids (N>or=9), the measurements reveal the existence of an additional intermediate excited state lying between the optically allowed S2 state and the lower-lying forbidden S1 state. This state enables us to explain the nonmonotonic dependence of the S2-->S1 conversion rate on N and is expected to play an important role in photosynthetic light harvesting.  相似文献
