The monoterpene (−)-isopulegol (7) has been used as a starting material for the total synthesis in eight/nine steps of two sesquiterpenes which were recently isolated from the medicinal plant Fabiana imbricata. Use of this approach has shown that a structure proposed as 3,11-amorphadiene (3) should be revised to that of 4,11-cadinadiene (18) and confirmed the structure proposed for the natural product 4-amorphen-1 1-ol (1).  相似文献

This paper describes the development of a xanthine oxidase/poly‐m‐phenylenediamine (XOD‐PPD)‐modified electrode. The biosensor was constructed by encapsulating XOD in a sol‐gel matrix deposited onto a platinum based screen‐printed electrode functionalized with a permselective PPD membrane. The hydrogen peroxide generated as a final product of the enzymatic reaction between the hypoxanthine and the XOD or by the spontaneous dismutation of superoxide radicals was selectively monitored at +700 mV. The use of a highly selective PPD layer blocked the nonspecific oxidation of other oxidizable molecules. Finally the biosensor was applied to the determination of the antioxidant capacity of acetylsalicylic acid.  相似文献

We present a joint experimental and theoretical study of the superconducting phase of the layered binary silicide BaSi(2). Compared with the AlB(2) structure of graphite or diboridelike superconductors, in the hexagonal structure of binary silicides the sp(3) arrangement of silicon atoms leads to corrugated sheets. Through a high-pressure synthesis procedure we are able to modify the buckling of these sheets, enhancing the superconducting transition temperature from 6 to 8.9 K when the silicon planes flatten out. By performing ab initio calculations based on density-functional theory we explain how the electronic and phonon properties are strongly affected by changes in the buckling. This mechanism is likely present in other intercalated layered superconductors, opening the way to the tuning of superconductivity through the control of internal structural parameters.  相似文献

The kinetics of the reactions of 2,4‐dinitrofluorobenzene (DNFB) and 2,4‐dinitrochlorobenzene (DNClB) with 2‐guanidinobenzimidazole (2‐GB) at 40 ± 0.2 °C in dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO), toluene, and in toluene–DMSO mixtures, and with 1‐(2‐aminoethyl)piperidine (2‐AEPip) and N‐(3‐aminopropyl)morpholine (3‐APMo) in toluene at 25 ± 0.2 °C were studied under pseudo first‐order conditions. For the reactions of 2‐GB carried out in pure DMSO, the second‐order rate coefficients were independent of the amine concentration. In contrast, the reactions of 2‐GB with DNFB in toluene, showed a kinetic behaviour consistent with a base‐catalysed decomposition of the zwitterionic intermediate. These results suggest an intramolecular H‐bonding of 2‐GB in toluene, which is not present in DMSO. To confirm this interpretation the reactions were studied in DMSO–toluene mixtures. Small amounts of DMSO produce significant increase in rate that is not expected on the basis of the classical effect of a dipolar aprotic medium; the effect is consistent with the formation of a nucleophile/co‐solvent mixed aggregate. For the reactions of 3‐APMo with both substrates in toluene, the second‐order rate coefficients, kA, show a linear dependence on the [amine]. 3‐APMo is able to form a six‐membered ring by an intramolecular H‐bond which prevents the formation of self‐aggregates. In contrast, a third order was observed in the reactions with 2‐AEPip: these results can be interpreted as a H‐bonded homo‐aggregate of the amine acting as a better nucleophile than the monomer. Most of these results can be well explained within the frame of the ‘dimer nucleophile’ mechanism. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A new and preparative oxidation of silibinin has been developed to give access to two different silibinin derivatives known for their enhanced antioxidant properties. Conventional heating methods were compared with results obtained from microwave (MW) heating. The base-catalysed oxidation of silibinin under MW heating is a very efficient method for the preparation of 2,3-dehydrosilybin and a related silybin rearrangement product. This latter compound shows enhanced radical scavenging properties. Optimised conditions were used to prepare 2,3-dehydrosilybins A and B from optically pure silybins A and B. An efficient, preparative purification method was also developed to enable isolation of different products in high purity.  相似文献

The photolysis of a benzene solution of [Tp(Me2)IrH(2)(COE)], 1 (Tp(Me2) = hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate, COE = Z-cyclooctene), in the presence of P(OMe)(3), gives the stable novel complex [Tp(Me2)IrH(C(6)H(5))(P(OMe)(3))], 3a. The photochemical syntheses of [Tp(Me2)IrH(2)(P(OMe)(3))], from 1 and P(OMe)(3) in diethyl ether, and [Tp(Me2)IrH(2)(CH(2)=CHCOO(t)Bu)], from 1 in tert-butyl acrylate, are also reported. The above reactions and several experiments using C(6)D(6) and P(OCD(3))(3) show that, in all cases, the primary photoproduct is the 16-electron, five-coordinate iridium(III) intermediate {Tp(Me2)IrH(2)}, 6a, produced by loss of COE from 1. The above experiments also allow the postulation of a mechanistic pathway for the formation of 3a which involves the oxidative addition of an aromatic C-H bond by 6a. Furthemore, the photochemical reaction of 1 in the presence of P(OCD(3))(3) shows that, under the reaction conditions used, oxidative addition of C-H bonds of P(OMe)(3) and of coordinated Tp(Me2)-ligands, presumably, to the intermediates 6a and {Tp(Me2)IrH(C(6)H(5))}, also occurs. Thus, coordinatively unsaturated iridium(III) species readily activate C-H bonds.  相似文献

A detailed analysis of the causative toxins contained in the hepatopancreas of toxic mussels from the northern Adriatic sea has been carried out. Along with some DSP (diarrhetic shellfish poisoning) type toxins, such as okadaic acid, yessotoxin, and their derivatives, which are involved in a number of human intoxications throughout the world, we have now isolated a new cytotoxin, a polychlorinated sulfolipid 1, whose gross structure has been elucidated by spectral analysis, including various 2D NMR techniques. The relative stereochemistry of 1 was elucidated by successful application of the J-based configuration analysis developed for acyclic compounds using carbon-proton spin-coupling constants ((2,3)J(C,H)) and proton-proton spin-coupling constants ((3)J(H,H)); its absolute stereochemistry was established by the Mosher method. Compound 1 possesses in vitro cytotoxicity against WEHI 164 and RAW 264.7 cells.  相似文献

Two acetylenic steroids, cholest-5-en-23-yn-3β-ol ( 5 ) and 26,27-dinorcholest-5-en-23-yn-3β-ol ( 3 ), and another unsaturated steroidalcohol, stigmasta-5,23-dien-3β-ol ( 7 ), were isolated from the sponge Calyx nicaaensis. The structures of these two acetylenic steroids were established by synthesis. Several attempts to synthesize the marine steroids alcohol calysterol ( 1 ), with a cyclopropene-containing side chain, starting from cholest-5-en-23-yn-3β-ol are also recorded. Addition of ethyl-diazo-acetate to the triple bond was performed, but the reduction to the methyl derivative yielded decomposition products.  相似文献

An oxacalix[2]arene[2]pyrimidine-bis(ZnII-porphyrin) conjugate was readily prepared via nucleophilic aromatic substitution of a phenolic AB3-Zn-porphyrin on the upper rim of a (1,3-alternate) 5,17-bis(methylsulfonyl)oxacalix[4]arene precursor. Efficient 1:1 complex formation between the ‘jaws’ bisporphyrin tweezer and fullerene C70 was evidenced by 1H NMR titrations (K = 3.0 × 104 M−1), while no detectable complexation could be observed with C60. On the other hand, an analogous oxacalix[4]arene-bis(Cu-corrole) conjugate did not show any measurable (C60 or C70) fullerene binding.  相似文献
