The unsteady flow and temperature distribution of a viscous incompressible fluid between two parallel flat plates has been investigated. The pressure gradient is varying linearly with time. The velocity and temperature profiles for various values oft have been shown graphically. Fort = 0, the velocity and temperature profiles correspond to the plane Poiseuille flow. The velocity and temperature both increase with time and they are maximum on the central plane of the channel.  相似文献

ABSTRACT: BACKGROUND: Peptide: N glycanase (PNG) enzyme cleaves oligosaccharides from the misfolded glycoproteins and prepares them for degradation. This enzyme plays a role in the endoplasmic reticulum associated degradation (ERAD) pathway in yeast and mice but its biological importance and role in multicellular development remain largely unknown. RESULTS: In this study, the PNG from the cellular slime mold, Dictyostelium discoideum (DdPNG) was identified based on the presence of a common TG (transglutaminase) core domain and its sequence homology with the known PNGs. The domain architecture and the sequence comparison validated the presence of probable functional domains in DdPNG. The tertiary structure matched with the mouse PNG. Here we show that DdPNG is an essential protein, required for aggregation during multicellular development and a knock out strain of it results in small sized aggregates, all of which do not form fruiting bodies. The in situ hybridization and RT PCR results show higher level of expression during the aggregate stage. The expression gets restricted to the prestalk region during later developmental stages. DdPNG is a functional peptide-N-glycanase enzyme possessing deglycosylation activity, but does not possess any significant transamidation activity. CONCLUSIONS: We have identified and characterized a novel PNG from D. discoideum and confirmed its deglycosylation activity. The results emphasize the importance of PNG in aggregation during multicellular development of this organism.  相似文献

The structural and thermal behavior of PVDF/ZnO nanocomposites have been investigated by employing scanning electron microscopy (SEM),TEM, DSC, powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermally stimulated discharge current (TSDC), and transient current techniques. SEM/TEM observation indicated the homogeneous dispersion of functionalized ZnO nanoparticles throughout PVDF matrix. DSC shows that the crystallinity is influenced by the presence of ZnO nanoparticles in the PVDF matrix because the filler acts as efficient nucleating agent to facilitate PVDF crystallization. DSC results indicated the enhancement of the glass transition temperature (T g), melting temperature (T m) and crystallization temperature (T c) of nanocomposites compared to pristine PVDF. XRD shows that the full-width at half maximum decreases with increasing ZnO content, which is attributed to the improvement in crystallinity. The incorporation of ZnO nanoparticles influences the modification of polarization process in PVDF as observed by means of TSDC and transient current study.  相似文献

A facile synthesis and studies on the stereochemistry and biochemical aspects of some organosilicon(IV), organotin(IV), and manganese(II) complexes derived from imine having NNO donor system is reported. The imine was prepared by the condensation of salicylanilide with sulphathiazole. This imine reacts with organosilicon(IV)chloride, organotin(IV)chloride, and hydrated manganese(II) chloride to yield compounds having M─O and M←N bonds. The structures of the compounds have been elucidated by physicochemical and spectral (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 29Si NMR, 119Sn NMR, and ESR) studies, which clearly point to a trigonal bipyramidal geometry around silicon(IV) and tin(IV), and tetrahedral geometry around manganese(II), as the active lone pair of the nitrogen is also included in the coordination sphere. In the search for better fungicides and bactericides, studies were conducted to assess the growth-inhibiting potential of the synthesized complexes against various pathogenic fungal and bacterial strains. These complexes are highly active against nematode (Meloidogyneincognita) and insect (Trogodermagranarium). The activity will be increased with increasing concentration. These studies demonstrate that the concentrations reached levels that are sufficient to inhibit and kill the pathogens. All compounds have also been found to act as sterilizing agents by reducing the production of sperm in male mice.  相似文献

In the paper, the coupled 1D nonlinear Schr?dinger system (CNLS) is considered as the model equation for wave-wave interaction in ionic media. A finite difference scheme is derived for the model equations. A new six-point scheme, which is equivalent to the multi-symplectic integrator, is derived. We report the first observation of the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decays D(+)→K(+)η((')) using a 791 fb(-1) data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. The ratio of the branching fractions of doubly Cabibbo-suppressed relative to singly Cabibbo-suppressed D(+)→π(+)η((')) decays are B(D(+)→K(+)η)/B(D(+)→π(+)η)=(3.06±0.43±0.14)% and B(D(+)→K(+)η')/B(D(+)→π(+)η')=(3.77±0.39±0.10)%. From these, we find that the relative final-state phase difference between the tree and annihilation amplitudes in D(+) decays, δ(TA), is (72±9)° or (288±9)°. We also report the most precise measurements of CP asymmetries to date: A(CP)(D(+)→π(+)η)=(+1.74±1.13±0.19)% and A(CP)(D(+)→π(+)η')=(-0.12±1.12±0.17)%.  相似文献

Abstract

Herein, we report an efficient synthesis of N-nitrosamines from cyclic, aliphatic, benzylic, and aromatic secondary amines via a novel straightforward, efficient, and mild chemical process using sodium nitrite and Oxone in methanol as a solvent at 0–5?°C. The demonstrated methodology accounts well for the parameters like cost-effective, short reaction time, clean and safe handling along with good to excellent yields.  相似文献

The efficient cycloaddition reactions were carried out to afford the novel 3,5-disubstituted-dihydroisoxazoles from methyl undec-10-enoate and isoxazoles, triazole and tetrazolo-triazole from methyl undec-10-ynoate. The reactions occurred under relatively mild conditions and afforded the desired products in good yields.  相似文献
