In this report, hybrid silica sol–gel coating was prepared using Ce(NO3)3 (Sol-Ce) as catalyst. Structure, surface morphology and anticorrosion ability of Sol-Ce solution/coating were studied by infrared spectroscopy (IR), scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), potentiodynamic scan (PDS) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). IR results showed that Ce(NO3)3 had a stronger influence on reactivity of alkoxysilane. EDS results revealed that the fraction of Fe in Sol-Ce coating was significantly lower than regular acid-catalyzed hybrid silica sol–gel coating (Sol-Ac) and Sol-Ac with Ce(NO3)3-doped coating (Sol-Ac/Ce). The results of PDS and EIS demonstrated that Sol-Ce coating had better anticorrosion ability than Sol-Ac and Sol-Ac/Ce on carbon steel. The enhanced anticorrosion performance of the Sol-Ce coating might result from the following two reasons: (a) Ce(NO3)3 as a catalyst could alleviate the negative effects of low pH with using acid catalyst (dissolution of carbon steel) and (b) Ce(NO3)3 could impede corrosion of carbon steel as corrosion inhibitor. 相似文献

Biodegradable magnesium alloys have been widely investigated in the field of biomaterials because they can be gradually dissolved and absorbed by the human body without long‐term existence. However, it was found that bare magnesium implants suffered from rapid corrosion. Surface modification is applied to improve the corrosion resistance and biocompatibility of magnesium implants. In this study, Ti‐O/HA composite coatings including typical flakes and nanofibers were fabricated on the Mg‐Zn alloy. The Ti‐O films were deposited on the magnesium alloy by direct current magnetron sputtering, and subsequently coated with HA flakes and nanofibers by electrochemical deposition, respectively. The obtained coatings were investigated by X‐ray diffraction, Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The corrosion resistance was evaluated by potentiodynamic polarization and hydrogen evolution tests in simulated body fluid at 37 °C. The results show that the compact Ti‐O films are composed of particles within the size of 100 nm, the outermost HA coatings are predominantly composed of HA and doped with Na+, Mg2+ ions and functional groups. The stronger diffraction and broader peak in nanofibers than typical flakes around 25.8° are ascribed to the preferential growth in orientation (002). The morphology of HA coatings changed from typical flakes into nanofibers with the addition of NaF, the mechanism to explain the difference is also discussed. The corrosion resistance was improved significantly by the coatings, the corrosion rates in the 10 days were 4.13, 1.77, 0.96 and 0.85 mm/y, respectively. A novel approach has been proved to quickly and non-invasively determine the optical properties of human skin in vivo. It is based on the diffuse reflectance approximation model and subjected to the well established library of absorption spectra of water and hemoglobin. Under the nonlinear least-square algorithm, fitting the measured spectra in the range of 400-1000 nm to the diffusion approximation model, the reduced scattering coefficient and absorption coefficient of skin tissue can be quickly determined in vivo. The feasibility of fenestration operation in middle ear bone with pulsed infrared laser is evaluated. Healthy male New Zealand rabbits in vivo are used in the experiment. Middle ear mastoid bone of animal model is completely exposed with conventional methods, and then a pulsed CO2 laser (10.6 μm) and an Er:YAG laser (2.94 μm) are used to perform the fenestration operation. Diamond drill is also used as a control group. The total operation time and light irradiation time are recorded and the opening efficiency is assessed. The morphological changes and thermal damage around the opening window on the middle ear bone are examined. It is shown that both laser systems are suitable for the fenestration operation in middle ear bone, and this no-touch technique has a lot of benefits compared with traditional methods. The bleeding during operation has an important effect on operation time and thermal injury and needs to be controlled efficiently in further study. 相似文献
