The grafting of vinyl monomers by tri-n-butylborane to blood has been investigated. The infrared spectra indicated that the monomers were grafted onto blood components. The grafting seems to occur onto blood proteins, mainly onto hemoglobin. The presence of water was essential to the grafting. The hydrolysis of the graft suggests that basic amino acids in the blood proteins, such as lysine and histidine, play an important role in the grafting.  相似文献

A mathematical representation of the transformation of an orientation function between two sets of Cartesian coordinates is discussed in terms of a series expansion of the distribution function in generalized spherical harmonics. A general procedure for calculating the mechanical anisotropy of a single-phase system (a polycrystalline material) from the orientation of its structural units and the intrinsic mechanical anisotropy of the structural unit is discussed in relation to the transformation of the orientation distribution function, i.e., mutual conversion of the coefficients in the expansion of the distribution function between the two sets of Cartesian coordinates. The procedure is extended to a two-phase systems (semicrystalline polymers) containing structural units composed of crystalline and noncrystalline materials in three different geometrical arrangements.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the problem of establishing the number of solutions to the complementarity problem. For the case when the Jacobian of the mapping has all principal minors negative, and satisfies a condition at infinity, we prove that the problem has either 0, 1, 2 or 3 solutions. The apparent horizon of three black holes on a time-symmetric space-like hypersurface is examined. The area is computed for various values of separation parameters. Using Hawking's mass formula, we found that the maximum possible efficiency of energy release is no more than 8.44 × 10-3 when the initial apparent horizon encloses three black holes.  相似文献

4,4-Difluoro-4-bora-3a,4a-diaza-s-indacene (BODIPY) is a well-known fluorophore, with a high molar extinction coefficient and high fluorescence quantum efficiency (Phi(fl)). Furthermore, its structure can be modified to change its excitation and emission wavelengths. However, little work has been done on the structural modification of fluorines at the B-4 position with other functional groups. We synthesized 4-methoxy-substituted BODIPY derivatives in satisfactory yields, and found that they exhibited improved solubility in aqueous solution. Moreover, their oxidation and reduction potentials were greatly decreased without any change in their absorbance and fluorescence properties. These features of 4-substituted BODIPYs may be useful for developing novel fluorescence probes based on the intramolecular photoinduced electron transfer (PeT) mechanism, because it is possible to optimize the PeT process precisely by modulating the electrochemical properties of the fluorophore. The value of this approach is exemplified by its application to the development of a highly sensitive and pH-independent fluorescence probe for nitric oxide.  相似文献
