Based on our recent discovery of the isomerization polymerization of β-(2-acetoxyethyl)-β-propiolactone into poly-δ-ester,1,2 we examined the generality of this phenomenon by using two related monomers. The catalysts were (EtAlO)n and Et(ZnO)2ZnEt. The side-chains in the monomers selected were the (CH3)2CHCOO? CH2CH2? (2) and (CH3)CICHCOO? CH2CH2? (3) groups in which steric effects are almost identical but electronic effects are in opposition. The monomers yielded isomerized poly-δ-ester units, depending on the terminal substituent groups in the side-chain. These observations can be interpreted with the bicyclic intermediate proposed in the earlier work. Monomer (2) was reactive and produced a poly-δ-ester structure most readily, probably because of the higher electron density at the side-chain ester group which coordinated with the catalyst. In contrast, monomer (3) was less reactive, and the probability of isomerization was the lowest, i.e., the electron deficient side-chain ester group apparently interfered with the formation of the intermediate, especially in the Zn-catalysis. Equibinary random copolymers were prepared from (2) and (3) according to the catalyst and polymerization conditions chosen.  相似文献

Nucleophilic reactions with Grignard reagents and the Mukaiyama aldol reactions of the naphthaldehydes having the (2,4, 6-triisopropylphenyl)sulfinyl group produced products with high stereoselectivity. In these reactions, the stereochemistry of the major products changes depending on the Lewis acids used. Reduction of the 2-acyl-1-[(2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl)sulfinyl]naphthalenes also proceeds with high stereoselectivity but with a different stereochemistry depending on the reducing agents. We have demonstrated, by the mechanistic consideration based on the X-ray crystal structures as well as the (1)H and (13)C NMR spectral data, that the extremely high and specific stereoselectivities of these reactions are due to the predominant rotamer around the C(naph)-S axis. Synthesis of enantiomerically pure 2-naphthylmethanol is provided as an example.  相似文献

We have developed a differential signal detection system for the analysis of liquid chromatographic signals using two or more detectors and a differential amplifier circuit. The proposed detection system is an improvement on conventional chromatography in which signals are detected by means of a single detector. The differential signal detection system eliminates difficulties of isolating minor components of the signal which are masked by the major component, as well as difficulties of separating two components of the signal having similar retention times.  相似文献

The chemoenzymatic synthesis of 13C-labeled sialic acid (NeuAc) and 3-deoxy-d-glycero-d-galacto-2-nonulosonic acid (KDN) as useful molecular probes for studying the conformation of sialyl or KDN oligosaccharides attached to proteins was performed by using [6-13C]-ManNAc, [6-13C]-Man and [3-13C]-pyruvic acid sodium salt. In the synthesis of the compounds, 5,6-anhydro intermediates were found to easily provide not only 6-13C-labeled but also 5-, and 6-modified NeuAc and KDN analogs. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that identical results are obtained by NMR for both [3,9-13C]-NeuAc and 1:1 mixtures of [3-13C]- and [9-13C]-NeuAc.  相似文献

Dynamic hepatobiliary image data were analyzed by the mathematical deconvolution to derive the transfer function (TF) which represents the impulse response function of the liver following direct bolus injection of a tracer into the liver. Biliary flow was evaluated by TF in patients with previous hepatobiliary surgery to detect abnormal flow causing problems such as cholangitis. Serial image data were collected for 60 min after intravenous injection of 37-75 MBq (1-2 mCi) of 99mTc-N-pyridoxyl-5-methyltryptophan (99mTc-PMT). TF was obtained by the matrix algorithm, using regional hepatogram as output and time-activity curve over the heart as input function. Minimum, mean and maximum transit time (Max. TT) were determined from TF. The functional image for each of the transit times was constructed by displaying the distribution of the values for matrix elements with a color scale. In this study, a critical Max. TT of 60 min was used to detect abnormal biliary flow. Of 30 cases, 9 positive cases were discriminated from 21 negative cases on the basis of the finding of presence or absence of areas with Max. TT of more than 60 min anywhere in the liver. Bowel activity overlapping the liver was excluded in the judgment. The validity of this method was evaluated in comparison with the clinical courses after surgery with (8 cases) or without (22 cases) problems. The results were sensitivity of 88%, specificity of 91%, accuracy of 90% and positive predictive value of 78%.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

14C variations of atmospheric CO2 as well as carbonaceous fraction of living materials, such as collagen from tooth and bone, tissue, skin, hair, nail, etc., of modern humans are influenced by 14C produced artificially by nuclear bomb tests in the atmosphere from late 1950s to early 1960s. By careful investigation of 14C concentration of tree rings and human body samples formed in this time intervals, we can establish a relationship of their 14C concentrations with calendar year. By applying this relation to a sample whose 14C concentration can be measured, we can estimate the formation age of the sample. In addition, sources of the chemicals that were used in some criminal cases can be possibly identified, by their carbon isotope ratios (13C/12C and 14C/12C). This method of age determination has been applied to a forensic study, i.e., two criminal cases of murder. For each case, by comparing the measured 14C abundances of several pieces of hair and one tooth (the third molar) from the body with the annual change on concentrations of bomb-produced 14C, the time of death of the body and the age of the victim were estimated. The estimated values were consistent with the real ones that were revealed by the confession of the real murderers.  相似文献

3,4-Dhydro-6,7-dimethoxy-4-methyl-3-oxo-quinoxaline-2-carbonyl azide is a highly senstive fluorescence derivatization reagent for primary, secondary and tertiary alcohols for high-performance liquid chromatography. Reaction conditions are optimized with benzyl alcohol, n-hexanol, cyclohexanol and 2-methyl-2-butanol. The reagent reacts with the alcohols in benzene to produce the corresponding fluorescent carbamic acid esters, which can be separated on a reversed-phase column YMC Pack C8 with aqueous methanol as eluent. the detection limits for the alchols are 2–5 fmol per 10-μl njection. The reagent also reacts with hydroxysteroids with primary, secondary and/or tertiary alcoholic group(s) to form fluorescent derivatives. Hydroxycarboxylic acids and phenols do not give any chromatographic peaks.  相似文献

We show that the topological significance of the gel mobility of cis-diamminedichloroplatinum(II) (DDP)-closed circular DNA (ccDNA) adducts decreases with reaction time, until a point at which it joins relaxed DNA, and that the mobility of the adducts increases again. There is no relationship between the relative length of the adducts and the gel mobility. Although the significance of the decrease of gel mobility is due to the unwinding of cis-DDP-DNA (or trans-DDP-DNA) adducts, the conformational significance of the subsequent increase in mobility is unclear. To elucidate the conformational significance for unwinding of the adducts, we measured the writhing number (Wk) of the adducts using electron microscopy and analyzed the topological states of cis-DDP (or trans-DDP) adducts based on the White rule, Lk=Wk+Tk. Where, Lk and Tk represent the linking and twisting number in the ring, respectively. From the data, we found that the Wk of cis-DDP-ccDNA adducts in comparison with trans-DDP-ccDNA adducts increases from a negative to a positive number with time. This suggests that cis-DDP plays a role in the change of the topological state of ccDNA. In the abstraction of platinum from the adducts with CN- ion, the differences in both topological states may explain why Pt in trans-DDP is abstracted more easily than in cis-DDP. To explain the abstraction of Pt ion, we also discuss the findings based on the thermodynamic cycle in a intermolecular crosslink model Pt(NH3)2(guanine)2(2+)-->Pt(CN)4(2-) using the Pt parametrized PM3 method.  相似文献
