The mutual influence of cation–π and anion–π interactions in the π–Mz+–π–X?–π system (Mz+ = Li+, Na+, K+, Be2+, Mg2+, Ca2+ and X? = F?, Cl?) has been studied by quantum mechanical calculations. Both geometric parameters and energy data reveal that cation–π and anion–π interactions enhance each other in the π–Mz+–π–X?–π system. Individual binding energies (Eion···π) have been estimated in the quintuplet system using a simple new method from electron charge densities calculated at the bond critical points (BCPs) of the ion···π interaction by the atoms in molecules (AIM) method at the M062X/6-31+G(d) level of theory. With respect to the obtained individual binding energies, the strength of an ion···π interaction depends on the cooperative effects of other components. 相似文献

A general approach to the high-yielding asymmetric synthesis of chiral 3-alkyl-4-nitromethylchromans as drug intermediates was achieved through cascade Barbas-Michael and acetalization (BMA) reactions on 2-(2-nitrovinyl)phenols with aldehydes in the presence of a catalytic amount of (R)-DPPOTMS and PhCO(2)H. Analysis of testosterone was accomplished using corona discharge ion mobility spectrometry. Molecular imprinted polymer was used for the extraction and pre-concentration of testosterone. Analytical parameters including precision, dynamic range and detection limit were obtained. The linear dynamic range was from 10 to 250 ng/mL and the limit of detection was 0.9 ng/mL. The proposed method was used for analysis of testosterone in urine samples. A urine sample from a 3-year-old girl was used as the blank. The RSD was below 10%. The obtained results from the method were also compared with the standard method for analysis of testosterone using SPE-HPLC analysis. The results demonstrate the accuracy of the method. 相似文献

Flower and broken sheet-like zinc oxide (ZnO) microcrystals have been prepared via a thermal decomposition process, using Zn5(CO3)2(OH)6 as the precursor in the presence of glycerol at 300 and 600 °C. The ZnO products were examined as a photocatalyst for the UV-induced degradation of Yellow 181 and Red 245 (textile azo dyes) in water solution. The applicability of the Langmuir–Hinshelwood kinetic equation revealed that the degradation of dyes occurred mainly on the surface of the photocatalyst. 相似文献

Herein we describe the synthesis of a series of nickel(II) complexes (C1–C3) with Schiff bases (HL1–HL3) derived from 4-amino-5-mercapto-3-methyl-1,2,4-triazole and ortho/meta/para-nitrobenzaldehyde having composition [Ni(L)2(H2O)2]. The obtained ligands and their complexes were characterized using physico-chemical techniques viz., elemental analysis, magnetic moment study, spectral (electronic, FT-IR, 1H-NMR) and thermal analysis. The elemental analysis and spectral analysis revealed that Schiff bases behave as monoanionic bidentate ligands towards the Ni(II) ion. Whereas, the magnetic moment study suggested the octahedral geometry of all the Ni(II) complexes. The thermal behavior of the complexes has been studied by thermogravimetric analysis and agrees well with the composition of complexes. Further, the biological activities such as antimicrobial and antifungal studies of the Schiff bases and Ni(II) complexes have been screened against bacterial species (Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and fungal species (Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans) activity by MIC method, the results of which revealed that metal complexes exhibited significant antimicrobial activities than their respective ligands against the tested microbial species. Furthermore, the molecular docking technique was employed to investigate the active sites of the selected protein, which indeed helped us to screen the potential anticancer agents among the synthesized ligand and complexes. Further, these compounds have been screened for their in vitro anticancer activity using OVCAR-3 cell line. The results revealed that the complexes are more active than the ligands. 相似文献

How likely is it that Magnus Carlsen will achieve his goal of a 2900 Elo rating? At what level of play does Magnus have a reasonable chance of reaching the 2900 goal? These two questions are of great current interest to Magnus and the chess community. The probabilistic properties of Elo's rating system are well known, and together with a Brownian motion model of rating evolution, we use simulation-based methods to address these questions. Our model assesses that Magnus has a 4.5% chance of reaching 2900 if he continues his 2020–2022 level of play. However, this increases dramatically to % chance if he can repeat his hot streak performance of 2019 which is not an easy undertaking. The probabilities are intimately related to Elo's choice -factor used for grandmaster chess play. Finally, we conclude with a discussion of the policy issues involved with the choice of -factor. 相似文献
