Application of thermomechanometry to the measurement of hydrogels containing a large amount of water was carried out by static and dynamic methods. A thermomechanical analyzer (TMA) equipped with a quartz compression probe immersed in water was used. Polysaccharide hydrogels containing ca 98% water were measured. Creep of hydrogels in water was analyzed in a stress range from 1.04⋅103 to 5.2⋅103 Pa and loading rate from 0.3⋅103 to 3.0⋅103 Pa min−1.Stress relaxation was measured in compressed ratio range from 0.02 to 0.45 m m−1 and in compressing rate was 0.09 to 0.15 m m−1 min−1. Dynamic viscoelasticity was measured by TMA when dynamic Young’s modulus which was larger than 1⋅104 Pa in frequencies ranging from 0.02~0.2 Hz. Let be an -primary ideal in a Gorenstein local ring (, ) with , and assume that contains a parameter ideal in as a reduction. We say that is a good ideal in if is a Gorenstein ring with . The associated graded ring of is a Gorenstein ring with if and only if . Hence good ideals in our sense are good ones next to the parameter ideals in . A basic theory of good ideals is developed in this paper. We have that is a good ideal in if and only if and . First a criterion for finite-dimensional Gorenstein graded algebras over fields to have nonempty sets of good ideals will be given. Second in the case where we will give a correspondence theorem between the set and the set of certain overrings of . A characterization of good ideals in the case where will be given in terms of the goodness in their powers. Thanks to Kato's Riemann-Roch theorem, we are able to classify the good ideals in two-dimensional Gorenstein rational local rings. As a conclusion we will show that the structure of the set of good ideals in heavily depends on . The set may be empty if , while is necessarily infinite if and contains a field. To analyze this phenomenon we shall explore monomial good ideals in the polynomial ring in three variables over a field . Examples are given to illustrate the theorems.

The spin-crossover behaviors of mixed-valence iron compounds [FeIIH3L][FeIIIL](NO3)2 (1) and [FeIIH3LMe][FeIIILMe](NO3)2 (2) have been investigated by 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy, where H3L is a hexadentate N6 tripod ligand containing three imidazole groups and H3LMe is its 2-methylimidazole derivative. Deconvolution analyses of the Mössbauer spectra revealed that a two-step SCO (LS FeII–LS FeIII→HS FeII–LS FeIII→HS FeII–HS FeIII) proceeds in each compound on elevating the temperature. Compound 2 exhibited lower spin-transition temperatures than 1. “Frozen-in effect” was observed below 120 and 50 K for 1 and 2, respectively.  相似文献

Nylon‐polystyrene microcapsules with immobilized ferroelectric liquid crystalline segments were prepared, and permeability control of an encapsulated core material was investigated under an external electric field. A ferroelectric liquid crystal monomer possessing both mesogenicity and chirality responded effectively to the external electrical field. Permeation of the material (oxprenolol) contained in the inner aqueous core of the microcapsules was enhanced under a weak electric field (2 V). Furthermore, the permeability of oxprenolol did not depend on the external electric field in the absence of the ferroelectric liquid crystal segments. To clarify the controlled‐release mechanism of the core material, the light transmittance of the polymer membranes was quantitatively evaluated under an external electric field using a handmade polarized light transmittance apparatus. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We report the energy and power voltage-dependencies of supercapacitors using single-walled carbon nanotube electrodes. The energy density was dependent on the cell-voltage cubed (up to 4 V: E = 1.43 × V3). The cubic relationship was attributed to the linear increase of the capacitance as a function of voltage, enabled by electrochemical doping. Furthermore, while up to 3.5 V, the maximum power rating of the nanotube electrodes increased as a function of the cell-voltage squared, beyond 3.5 V, a decline in power was observed as a result of depletion of the electrolyte's ions.  相似文献
