The whole magnetization curve of the first stage compound C6Eu has been measured by using pulsed fields up to 400 kG below 40 K. For H ⊥ c, c being the crystal c-axis, four regions are observed in the magnetization curve; I) the initial magnetization region with an apparent moment of ~ 0.6microB per Eu ion (H < 12 kG), II) the intermediate region with nearly constant moment of 2.2 – 2.7 microB, which corresponds to the full moment of Eu2+ ion (22 < H < 82 kG), III) the region of a linear field dependence (82 < H < 205 kG), and IV) the saturation region above 205 kG, where the saturation moment is found as 6.2 microB. For H//c, the magnetization increases monotonically and approaches to a saturation value corresponding to 6 microB above 240 kG. 相似文献

Treatment of NiCl2 with the tripod ligand (LMent,SC)-1H led to (LMent,SC)-[Cp(PNMent)NiCl] in which the potentially tridentate ligand coordinated to the metal center in a bidentate way via the cyclopentadienyl system and the phosphorus atom. In the presence of NH4PF6 [(LMent,SC)-[Cp(PNMent)NiCl] readily underwent Cl/PPh3 exchange to give (LMent,SC)-[Cp(PNMent)NiPPh3]PF6. Reaction of (LMent,SC)-[Cp(PNMent)NiCl] with 0.5 eq. of dppe afforded [{(LMent,SC)-[Cp(PNMent)Ni]}2dppe](PF6)2. (LMent,SC)-[Cp(PNMent)NiPPh3]PF6 and [{(LMent,SC)-[Cp(PNMent)Ni]}2dppe](PF6)2 were characterized by NMR and MS spectroscopy, and also by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The cyclopentadienyl ligand of (LMent,SC)-[Cp(PNMent)NiPPh3]PF6 shows a distortion intermediate between the ene-allyl and diene types, while the two cyclopentadienyl ligands of [{(LMent,SC)-[Cp(PNMent)Ni]}2dppe](PF6)2 have intermediate and diene distortions, respectively. According to the temperature dependent NMR spectra of (LMent,SC)-[Cp(PNMent)NiPPh3]PF6 and [{(LMent,SC)-[Cp(PNMent)Ni]}2dppe](PF6)2 two different conformations of the tether in the Cp(PNMent)Ni system could be frozen out at low temperatures. 相似文献

An air-segmented continuous-flow method has been developed for the determination of molybdenum at ultra trace levels using
the catalytic effect of molybdate during the oxidation of L-ascorbic acid by hydrogen peroxide. Incorporation of an on-line
ion exchange column improved the tolerance limit for various ions. The detection limits with and without the column were 64 pmol L−1 and 17 pmol L−1, and the reproducibilities at 10 nmol L−1 were 2.1% and 0.2%, respectively. The proposed method was applied to the determination of molybdenum in seawater and lake
water as well as in rock and sediment samples. This method has the highest sensitivity among the available literature to our
knowledge, and is also convenient for routine analysis of molybdenum in various natural samples.

The hierarchic organization of cellulose fibrils (microfibrils) was investigated in holocellulose, sulphite pulp and kraft pulp using TEM, XRD, ED and FTIR. There were remarkable differences in both the fibril structure and fibril aggregation between the samples. TEM observations revealed more intimately associated fibrils in the kraft pulp compared to the sulphite pulp and the holocellulose, results in agreement with previous CP/MAS 13C-NMR data [Hult E.-L. et al. (2002) Holzforschung 56: 231–234]. Furthermore, the cellulose crystallinity was higher in the kraft pulp sample. With respect to the cellulose I and I allomorphs, these samples were controversial when different analytical techniques were applied. Due to the small fibril size and the low degree of order of cellulose in these samples, the concept of crystalline triclinic and monoclinic components as determined by diffraction analysis may not be adequate. Instead the fibril can be regarded to have different degrees of lateral order (including paracrystalline ordering) that can be reoriented to I type conformation and packing upon pulping. 相似文献

Polymers containing droplets of liquid crystal smaller than 100 nm, which have good transparency and easily form films, were prepared under various conditions to evaluate their potential as electro-optic materials for waveguide-type devices. By varying the liquid crystal concentration and the strength of the UV irradiation causing photo-induced phase separation of the droplets, we were able to control the droplet size and density. We have clarified how the birefringence generated in an applied electric field, switching speed, and optical loss of light propagating in the film depend on droplet size and density. Polymer materials having a large electro-optic effect (δn = 0.001 at 8 V μm-1), low propagation loss (~2.5 dB cm-1), and fast response time (~10 μs) have been developed. 相似文献
