The crystal structure of trans-1,4-polybutadiene has been reported by Natta et al. to be pseudo-hexagonal below its solid-phase transition temperature. In the present X-ray structure analysis, it is revealed that the crystal belongs to the monoclinic system with the space group P21/a. The unit cell, with the lattice constants a = 8.63 Å, b = 9.11 Å, c = 4.83 Å, and β = 114°, includes four molecular segments.  相似文献

In order to calculate the cross sections of the muonic atom-nucleus collisions, we have proposed a precise numerical method, a non-adiabatic coupled-rearrangement-channel method with the use of the Jacobian coordinates for the three-body system in the whole space. The scattering boundary condition is correctly imposed along the coordinates; this method does not suffer from the well known defects of the method of adiabatic representation. We applied our method to the muonic atom-nucleus collisions for an incident c.m. energies of 0.001–100 eV.  相似文献

Transitions related to the spin-glass phase in Mn1−xTixSb are revisited from the nonlinear ac susceptibility. Near the tricritical point (x≈0.8), the transition between ferromagnetic and reentrant spin-glass states is sharp. At x0.8, an anomally is found slightly above the temperature of usual spin-glass freezing.  相似文献

We report the partial phonon densities of states (DOS) of iron sulfide, a possible component of the rocky planet's core, measured by the 57Fe nuclear resonant inelastic x-ray scattering and calculate the total phonon DOS under pressure. From the phonon DOS, we drive thermodynamic parameters. A comparison of the observed and estimated compressibilities makes it clear that there is a large pure electronic contribution in the observed compressibility in the metallic state. Our results present the observation of thermodynamic parameters of iron sulfide with the low-spin state of an Fe2+ ion at the high density, which is similar to the condition of the Martian core.  相似文献

The chemical etching of fission tracks in ethylene-tetrafluoro-ethylene copolymer was studied. Etched holes 3000–4000 Å in diameter was recognized by electron microscopy for a film bombarded by fission fragments in oxygen and etched in a 12N sodium hydroxide solution at 125°C. The radial etching rate at 125°C was 6–8 Å/hr, which is less than 17 Å/hr for polyvinylidene fluoride in the same sodium hydroxide concentration at 85°C. The smaller rate is a reflection of the larger chemical resistivity of ethylene-tetrafluoro-ethylene copolymer than polyvinylidene fluoride.  相似文献

Uptake and reduction of arsenate [AS(V)] by Dunaliella sp. cells were determined to investigate the metabolic processes of arsenic in the alga. Cellular uptake of arsenic by Dunaliella sp. cells was markedly affected by the form of arsenic in the medium. The content of arsenic taken up by Dunaliella sp. cells increased rapidly with time on addition of As(V) to the medium. However, in the case of addition of arsenite [As(III)], the gradient of arsenic uptake by Dunaliella sp. cells was low, and arsenic content was small. In the water-soluble fraction of arsenic taken up by Dunaliella sp. cells with exposure to As(V), arsenic was in the forms of organic arsenic, As(V) and As(III). The content of As(V) in the water-soluble fraction increased with exposure time. The content of As(III) also increased with time, but remained constant after 5 h of exposure. On the other hand, organic arsenic content was small and did not increase with time. It was found that Dunaliella sp. takes up As(V) and readily reduces it to As(III)  相似文献

Forced fluid flow can cause the enhancement of multibubble sonoluminescence (SL) under suitable conditions. The effect of directional flow with a circulator is similar to that of rotating flow with a stirrer. The mechanism of the enhancement is that both flows prevent cavitation bubbles from coalescing and clustering, which are responsible for the quenching of SL. The intensity of sonochemiluminescence (SCL) in an aqueous luminol solution increases with flow speed at higher ultrasonic powers more significantly than that of SL in distilled water. However, in the range of low ultrasonic power, the intensities of SL and SCL decrease with flow speed. Therefore, an optimum flow speed exists in relation to ultrasonic power and frequency.  相似文献

Parametric x rays (PXR) produced by bombarding silicon and diamond crystals with electrons of 30 to 87 MeV were detected at 180 degrees relative to the direction of the electron beam. It was found that the dependence of the intensity on the orientation of the crystal agrees with the predictions of the kinematical theory of PXR. The absolute intensity is twice as large as predicted. These findings can be explained considering dynamical effects that govern the x-ray crystal interaction. Additionally, x rays caused by self-diffracted transition radiation have been observed.  相似文献

The magnetic composite materials that consist of transparent matrix and magnetic fine particles are expected to have large residual magnetization and coercive force because of their fine magnetic domain structure, and also to show magneto-optical effects. Silica gels containing magnetite (Fe3O4) fine particles were prepared by sol-gel method. The magnetic, optical and magneto-optical properties of the composites were investigated by measurements of magnetization curves, UV-visible spectra and Faraday rotation in visible range. The saturation magnetization of the composite was almost as same as that expected from the amount of magnetite fine particles in it. Although the composites had large and broad absorption at around 400 nm, they still maintained their transparency. The origins of decrement of transparency attributed to the optical absorption of magnetite and scattering due to magnetite fine particles. The whole composites showed positive Faraday rotation under external static magnetic field due to the large contribution of diamagnetic silica gel matrix. Magnetite contributed negative Faraday rotation with maximum at around 470–480 nm to the magneto-optical spectra of the composites.  相似文献
