Aromatic polythioamide-oxothioxoquinazolines were synthesized by the polycondensation of 2,2′-(m-phenylene)bis-1,3,4-thiadiazoline-5-thione with aromatic bis-o-amino esters. The polymerizations were carried out at 160°C in acidic media such as m-cresol, sulfolane, and polyphosphoric acid to produce polymers with reduced viscosities up to 0.5 dL/g. These polymers were soluble in polar aprotic solvents like N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and some acidic media including m-cresol. The polythioamide-oxothioxoquinazolines showed relatively good thermal stability with 10% weight loss at 344–394°C in air.  相似文献

This study investigates the effect of ionic liquids (ILs) on the anionic polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA). Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), an isotactic polymer, is prepared by anionic polymerization at a high reaction temperature with an IL that acts as both solvent and additive. The most plausible reaction mechanism is determined using 1H NMR and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. The electrostatic interaction between MMA and the IL increases the apparent steric hindrance in MMA, resulting in the isotactic PMMA.  相似文献

Electroluminescent diodes utilizing poly(3-alkylthiophene) (PAT) containing fluorescent dyes have been fabricated and their unique enhancement of emission characteristics have been studied. Remarkable enhancement of the electroluminescence efficiency has been observed for diodes with PAT doped with oxadiazole derivative (2-(4-biphenylyl)-5-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole; PBD) and perylene derivative (N,N′ - Bis(2,5 - di - tert - butylphenyl) - 3,4,9,10 - perylenedi- carboximide; BPPC). A sensitive and specific double-antibody enzyme immunoassay (EIA) for a thyrotropin releasing hormone (TRH)-like immunoreactive substance has been developed. In order to synthesize TRH-labeled beta-D-galactosidase (beta-gal), a newly devised TRH derivative, pGlu-His-Pro-NH-(CH2)6-NH2 (TRH-Hex), was employed. TRH-Hex was linked to beta-gal by the N-(epsilon-maleimidocaproyloxy) succinimide coupling procedure. For competitive reactions, the TRH antibody was incubated with standard TRH and TRH-Hex-beta-gal (delayed addition). Free and antibody-bound enzyme hapten were separated by using an anti-rabbit immunoglobulin G coated immunoplate. Activity of the enzyme on the plate was fluorometrically determined. The present immunoassay allows detection of 0.8 to 100 pmol/well of TRH.  相似文献

The antioxidant activities of pueraria glycoside (PG)-1 (isoflavonoid) and mangiferin (xanthonoid) were studied and compared with PG-3 and daidzein (isoflavonoids) and with wogonin (flavonoid). PG-1 and mangiferin rapidly scavenged 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical, and inhibited lipid peroxidation which was initiated enzymatically by reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) or non-enzymatically by ascorbic acid or Fenton's reagent (H2O2 + Fe2+) in rat liver microsomes. Wogonin inhibited the enzymatically induced lipid peroxidation but had no scavenging effect on DPPH radical or on the non-enzymatic peroxidation. PG-3 and daidzein did not show any of these effects. Formation of Fe2+ by NADPH-dependent cytochrome P-450 reductase was inhibited by wogonin, but not by PG-1 or mangiferin. PG-1 and mangiferin had no effect on terminating radical chain reaction during the lipid peroxidation in the enzymatic system of microsomes or in the linoleic acid hydroperoxide-induced peroxidation system. These results suggest that PG-1 and mangiferin have an antioxidant activity, probably due to their ability to scavenge free radicals involved in initiation of lipid peroxidation. In contrast, wogonin may affect NADPH-dependent cytochrome P-450 reductase action, since it inhibited only the enzymatically induced lipid peroxidation.  相似文献
