We have developed high-field and multifrequency (HFMF) electron spin resonance (ESR) apparatus for the magnetic fields up to 65 T at frequencies up to about 6 THz. In addition to this pulsed field ESR apparatus, we are making a multifrequency ESR apparatus with very high sensitivity in a static field. We report the results of ESR studies on BaCoV2O8 and NiGa2S4, followed by recent developments and future plans of our HFMF ESR apparatus.  相似文献

Abstract

We succeeded in the synthesis of a novel poly(amidoamine) dendrimer having diphenyl diselenide at the core. Modification of the dendrimer diselenide by the reaction with glucono-δ-lactone in methanol gave a water-soluble dendrimer diselenide having chiral terminal groups. The structures of dendrimers were satisfactorily confirmed by MAIDI-TOF MS spectrometry, elemental analysis, and NMR spectroscopy. Interestingly, induced circular dichroism (ICD) of the interaction between the diphenyl diselenide core and D-gluconamide periphery of the dendrimer was observed at 300 nm.

The electrode characteristics of ion-selective electrodes (ISEs) for K+, Na+, NH4 +, and Ca2+ based on bilayer film coatings, where the inner layer films are electroactive electropolymerized ones and the outer layer films are composed of conventional ion-sensitive materials, have been examined. These ISEs of the coated-wire electrode type have no conventional internal reference solution and reference electrode, but the inner films may be considered to function as the “internal standard solution.” The ion selectivity coefficients and the activity range showing Nernstian response were almost comparable to those of conventional liquid-membrane electrodes. The bilayer-coated ISEs showed insensitivity to O2 and CO2, long-term stability, and little drift. It was also found that the electrode performance is practically unchanged after sterilization in an autoclave. The results demonstrate that the bilayer-coated ISEs examined are promising for the determination of K+, Na+, NH4 +, or Ca2+ activity in biological and environmental systems.  相似文献

In this study, we combined a column‐switching system with a fluorous scavenging derivatization method to develop a fully automated reagent peak‐free LC fluorescence detection protocol for the analysis of highly polar carboxylic acids. In this method, highly polar carboxylic acids were derivatized with fluorescent 1‐pyrenemethylamine in the presence of 1‐ethyl‐3‐(3‐dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide and 1‐hydroxy‐1H‐benzotriazole. Residual excess of the unreacted reagent was tagged with 2‐(perfluorooctyl)ethyl isocyanate and then removed selectively using a fluorous column‐switching system placed in front of an analytical reversed‐phase column. The signal of the fluorous‐tagged unreacted reagent was completely absent in the resulting chromatograms; therefore, it did not interfere with the quantification of each acid especially those eluted before 20 min. The detection limits (S/N = 3) for the examined acids were in the range from 4.0 to 22 fmol per injection. We have applied this method to comparative analysis of highly polar carboxylic acids in urine samples obtained from diabetes mellitus type‐II model mice and their control.  相似文献

The formation of carbon-carbon bond by sulfur extrusion such as pyrolysis of cyclic sulfones is well known as an important synthetic method, especially for the synthesis of cyclophane framework.1) Little is known about selenium extrusion as the counterpart, though organoseleniums have been properly appreciated as a useful tool for manipulating a functional group.2) Lardon reported that the thermal decomposition of dibenzyl diselenide led to a mixture of dibenzyl selenide and polyselenides.3) In contrast, recent reports showed that at 210°C, heating bis(diphenylmethyl) diselenide resulted in ready selenium extrusion to 1,1,2,2-tetraphenylethane4), and dianthrylmethyl mono- and diselenides to 1,2-dianthrylethane.5) Therefore,- it is worthwhile to study the thermal behavior of dibenzyl selenide itself.  相似文献

Chiral diamines, 2-(anilinophenylmethyl)pyrrolidines and 2-(anilinodiphenylmethyl)pyrrolidine, were prepared from N-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)pyrrolidine or (S)-proline as a starting material, respectively. These chiral diamines were efficient for the catalytic enantioselective borane reduction of acetophenone. Using (S)-2-(anilinodiphenylmethyl)pyrrolidine, chiral secondary alcohols were obtained from prochiral ketones with good to excellent enantiomeric excesses (up to 98% ee).  相似文献

We have identified novel CE conditions for the separation of 7‐amino‐4‐methylcoumarin‐labeled monosaccharides and oligosaccharides from glycoproteins. Using a neutrally coated capillary and alkaline borate buffer containing hydroxypropylcellulose and ACN, saccharide derivatives form anionic borate complexes, which move from the cathode to the anode in an electric field and are detected near the anodic end. Excess labeling reagents and other fluorescent products remain at the cathodic end. Fluorimetric detection using an LED as a light source enables determination of monosaccharide derivatives with good linearity between at least 0.4 and 400 μM, may correspond to 140 amol to 140 fmol. The lower LOD (S/N = 5) is only 80 nM in the sample solution (ca. 28 amol). The results were comparable to reported values using fluorometric detection LC. The method was also applied to the analysis of oligosaccharides that were enzymatically released from glycoproteins. Fine resolution enables profiling of glycans in glycoproteins. The applicability of the method was examined by applying it to other derivatives labeled with nonacidic tags such as ethyl p‐aminobenzoate‐ and 2‐aminoacridone‐labeled saccharides.  相似文献

Sucrose monoalkanoates (SE) form microemulsions by mixing with lipophilic cosurfactants such as the middle-chain alcohols, or sucrose polyalkanoates. In the case that sucrose monododecanoate is combined with hexanol, a middle-phase microemulsion is produced and coexists with excess water and oil phases at optimum mixing fraction of SE and hexanol. The bicontinuous structure of the microemulsion was confirmed by means of self-diffusion coefficient on NMR measurement.

A larger solubilization capability of oil is attained to a mixed mono- and poly-dodecanoate system than that of the middle-chain alcohol. It is probably due to the location of most of surfactant molecules at the micro-interface inside the microemulsion. In this system, instead of forming a three-phase region, a lamellar liquid crystal intrudes into multi-phase region since the surfactant layer is rather rigid as which was supported by the results of SAXS and ESR measurements. Further addition of a short-chain alcohol such as propanol to the mixed system leads to the flexible interface, as a consequence three-phase microemulsion with large solubilization is formed.  相似文献
