氟氧化物陶瓷的多谱线上转换发光

以氧化硅、氟化铅为基质制备了Er3 :Yb3 共掺杂氟氧化物陶瓷 ,X 射线分析表明陶瓷中存在着 β PbF2 晶相 ,沉积在其中的稀土离子由于具有很低的无辐射跃迁几率而显示出良好的上转换性能。Er3 ,Yb3 离子之间存在的多种能量传递通道 ,导致稀土离子十分丰富的上转换谱线的出现。     

Improved coating method for uniform polymer layer in infrared hollow fiber

An improved coating method was proposed in order to form a uniform polymer layer in the fabrication of cyclic olefin polymer-coated silver (COP/Ag) hollow fiber. A COP solution was flowed in a closed loop, in which the silver-coated tube was used as a part of the loop. Owing to the constant flowing speed of the COP solution and the airtight flowing environment, a COP layer was uniformly formed. The hollow fibers attain high performance and deliver multi-wavelength laser light from the infrared to the visible simultaneously. The method was successfully applied to the fabrication of practical hollow fibers with 2 m length for the near and mid-infrared lasers.     

Design and Fabrication of 1.06 μm Resonant-Cavity Enhanced Reflective Modulator with GaInAs/GaAs Quantum Wells

A resonant-cavity enhanced reflective optical modulator is designed and fabricated, with three groups of three highly strained InGaAs/GaAs quantum wells in the cavity, for low voltage and high contrast ratio operation. The quantum wells are positioned in antinodes of the optical standing wave. The modulator is grown in a single growth step in an molecular beam epitaxy system, using GaAs/AlAs distributed Bragg reflectors as both the top and bottom mirrors. Results show that the reflection device has a modulation extinction of 3 dB at -4.5 V bias.     

Reduction of Dislocations in GaN Epilayer Grown on Si （111） Substrates using a GaN Intermedial Layer

GaN intermedial layers grown under different pressures are inserted between GaN epilayers and AIN/Si（111） substrates. In situ optical reflectivity measurements show that a transition from the three-dimensional （3D） mode to the 2I） one occurs during the GaN epilayer growth when a higher growth pressure is used during the preceding GaN intermedial layer growth, and an improvement of the crystalline quality of GaN epilayer will be made. Combining the in situ reflectivity and transmission electron microscopy （TEM） measurements, it is suggested that the lateral growth at the transition of growth mode is favourable for bending of dislocation lines, thus reducing the density of threading dislocations in the epilayer.     

Synthesis and application as polymer electrolyte of hyperbranched polyether made by cationic ring‐opening polymerization of 3‐{2‐[2‐(2‐hydroxyethoxy)ethoxy]ethoxymethyl}‐3′‐methyl‐oxetane

A novel cyclic ether monomer 3‐{2‐[2‐(2‐hydroxyethoxy)ethoxy]ethoxy‐methyl}‐3′‐methyloxetane (HEMO) was prepared from the reaction of 3‐hydroxymethyl‐3′‐methyloxetane tosylate with triethylene glycol. The corresponding hyperbranched polyether (PHEMO) was synthesized using BF₃·Et₂O as initiator through cationic ring‐opening polymerization. The evidence from ¹H and ¹³C NMR analyses revealed that the hyperbranched structure is constructed by the competition between two chain propagation mechanisms, i.e. active chain end and activated monomer mechanism. The terminal structure of PHEMO with a cyclic fragment was definitely detected by MALDI‐TOF measurement. A DSC test implied that the resulting polyether has excellent segment motion performance potentially beneficial for the ion transport of polymer electrolytes. Moreover, a TGA assay showed that this hyperbranched polymer possesses high thermostability as compared to its liquid counterpart. The ion conductivity was measured to reach 5.6 × 10^?5 S/cm at room temperature and 6.3 × 10^?4 S/cm at 80 °C after doped with LiTFSI at a ratio of Li:O = 0.05, presenting the promise to meet the practical requirement of lithium ion batteries for polymer electrolytes. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 三角B-B曲面在非结构网格生成中的应用

基于生成非结构化网格的Delaunay三角形化方法,应用三次三角Bernstein-Bézier曲面来控制网格点的分布情况。对于给定边界,利用三次非均匀B样条进行边界的拟合及重新离散。对初始化形成的Delaunay三角形,应用三次三角Bernstein-Bézier曲面来计算位于其中的点的长度标尺,通过对三角Bernstein-Bézier曲面边界点的定义来控制三角形内长度标尺的分布。对复杂通道网格剖分的实例表明,此方法可以很好地控制内部网格点的分布情况。

This paper is concerned with the existence of positive solutions of two-point Dirichlet singular and nonsingular boundary problems for second-order quasi-linear differential equations with changing sign nonlinearities.

Combinational simulations of free energy of polymer solution

It is conceptually proposed that the total entropy of polymer solution is contributed from two distinct parts: the positional and the oomformational. The former can be represented analytically, while the latter can be simulated with the random self-avoiding walk model on the simple cubic lattice for multichain systems. The obtained results indicated that both the conformational entropy and the mixing heat are consistent with the scaling laws wry well.
