Metabolic labeling with clickable noncanonical amino acids has enabled nascent proteome profiling, which can be performed in a cell-type-specific manner. However, nascent proteomics in an intercellular communication-dependent manner remains challenging. Here we develop communication-activated profiling of protein expression (CAPPEX), which integrates the LuxI/LuxR quorum sensing circuit with the cell-type-specific nascent proteomics method to enable selective click-labeling of newly synthesized proteins in a specific bacterium upon receiving chemical signals from another reporter bacterium. CAPPEX reveals that E. coli competes with Salmonella for tryptophan as the precursor for indole, and the resulting indole suppressed the expression of virulence factors in Salmonella. This tryptophan-indole axis confers attenuation of Salmonella invasion in host cells and living mice. The CAPPEX strategy should be widely applicable for investigating various interbacterial communication processes. 相似文献

Double perovskites (DPs) are one of the most promising candidates for developing white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs) owing to their intrinsic broadband emission from self-trapped excitons (STEs). Translation of three-dimensional (3D) DPs to one-dimensional (1D) analogues, which could break the octahedral tolerance factor limit, is so far remaining unexplored. Herein, by employing a fluorinated organic cation, we report a series of highly luminescent 1D DP-inspired materials, (DFPD)2MIInBr6 (DFPD=4,4-difluoropiperidinium, MI=K+ and Rb+). Highly efficient warm-white photoluminescence quantum yield of 92 % is achieved by doping 0.3 % Sb3+ in (DFPD)2KInBr6. Furthermore, single-component warm-WLEDs fabricated with (DFPD)2KInBr6:Sb yield a luminance of 300 cd/m2, which is one of the best-performing lead-free metal-halides WLEDs reported so far. Traditional synthesis strategy of nanomaterials with complicated process and high cost limits their applications. Here, we propose a facile process for the synchronous synthesis and patterning of silver nanoparticles(Ag NPs) through the self-driven microchannel reactor with the capillary effect inspired by transpiration. The evaporation contributes to capillary and accumulation effects in the microchannels. The silver reactant-containing droplets can be spontaneously divided and distributed in multiple microchannels during the whole fabrication process by the capillary effect. The newly formed Ag NPs at the gas-liquid interface can be assembled on both sides of the microchannels by the accumulation effect. The capillary effect decreases the disturbances, which ensures the uniformity of the patterning. By the combination of microchannels with different widths, various Ag NPs-assembled patterns with stable electrical properties are achieved. This efficient strategy with a simple fabrication procedure is towards the technological engineering of nanoscale architected materials. 相似文献

Abstract
A new 4d–4f coordination polymer, [AgGd(pyzc)2(ox)·H2O)] (1) [pyzc = Pyrazine-2-carboxylate, ox = oxalate] has been successfully synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and structurally determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and power X-ray diffraction. Single-crystal X-ray analysis reveals that it crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2 1 /c with a = 10.0746(1) ?, b = 18.642(1) ?, c = 8.0525(2) ?, β = 112.470(1)°, Mr = 617.34, Z = 4, V = 1505.6(2) ?3, μ = 5.732, F(000) = 1164. The Gd(III) ion is nine-coordinated by two O-donors and two N-donors of two different chelating pyzc ligands, four O-donors of two different chelating oxalate ligands, and one O-donor of another carboxylate group of one pyzc ligand. A library of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) was synthesized by radical bulk polymerization using the beta-lactam antibiotic penicillin G as the template. Diversity of the library was obtained by combining various functionalized monomers and cross-linkers and by varying the stoichiometry and the concentration of the components in the prepolymerization mixtures. The library was screened for selectivity to penicillin G by a radioligand binding assay and was compared to a corresponding control library. The best MIP candidate, showing the highest selectivity for penicillin G, was prepared from methacrylic acid and trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate as the functionalized monomer and cross-linker, respectively. Cross-reactivity studies with other beta-lactam antibiotics showed a low cross-reactivity of penicillin V (15%), ampicillin (16%), and amoxicillin (19%). Nafcillin and oxacillin showed less cross-reactivity (<1%). Cross-reaction with a cephalosporin antibiotic (cephapirin) and structurally nonrelated antibiotics (chloramphenicol, tetracycline, dapsone, and erythromycin) was less than 0.01%. 相似文献
