Ring-chain isomerism of 1,3,3-trimethyl-2-formylmethylene-indoline (fischer aldehyde) oxime and associated reactions

The compound 1,3,3-trimethyl-2-formylmethyleneindoline oxime is synthesized for the first time. Using the polynuclear resonance method it is shown that the oxime exists as two isomers, one of which has a cyclic structure. Reactions of cycloammonium cations

2-Keto derivatives of N-acyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline and isoquinoline were obtained by the reaction of quinoline and isoquinoline with ketones and-dicarbonyl compounds in the presence of acyl halides. Pyrrolo[1,2-a]benzimidazoles in the hetarylation reaction

Direction of deprotonation of 4-(3-indolyl)pyridinium salts in alkaline media

Hetarylation of cyclopentadiene,indene, and azulene

The direct hetarylation of cyclopentadiene, indene, and azulene with several benzopyridines in the presence of acyl halides was studied. It is shown that the most electrophilic N-benzoyl-isoquinolinium salt is capable of hetarylating CH acids with pK_a<21.     

Dual reactivity of 1,2-disubstituted dihydro-N heteroaromatic systems. 7. Aromatization of 1-methyl-2-phenyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline by quinonimines

In the aromatization of 1-methyl-2-phenyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline with substituted quinonimines, 1-methyl-2-phenylquinolinium salts of anionic hydride -complexes form, when then rearrange to iminyl anions.
