Computable presentations of projective planes are studied. Based on an interpretation of a class of fields (associative skew fields) within a class of Pappusian (Desarguesian) projective planes, it is proved that the question whether there exists a computable presentation for a Pappusian (Desarguesian) projective plane reduces to asking if there exists a computable presentation for a corresponding field (associative skew field). It is stated that the computable dimension of a Pappusian (Desarguesian) projective plane coincides with that of a corresponding field (associative skew field).  相似文献

Heat capacity of Rb2ZnBr4 as a function of γ irradiation dose has been measured within the 85–300 K range by the adiabatic calorimeter technique. It is shown that, as the irradiation dose increases, the heat capacity peak in the vicinity of the incommensurate-commensurate first-order phase transition (PT) decreases, and the transition temperature T c increases. The heat capacity peak in the region of the second-order PT at T 3=112 K does not depend on γ irradiation, both in magnitude and in position, just as the heat capacity throughout the remainder of the temperature range studied. Lifetime measurements have been carried out for some low lying (n = 2) levels in the four-electron ions Cl XIV and S XIII using the beam-foil technique. Accurate oscillator strengths for the 2 s2 1 S - 2 s 2 p 1 P o transition have been determined by the inclusion of prominent cascades in the analysis. Lifetimes of the levels of the 2 p2 3 P j multiplet have also been measured for both ions. The results are compared with theoretical predictions and earlier measurements. This paper describes the problem of high-temperature superconductivity related to investigations of the magnetic susceptibility, electron paramagnetic resonance, and O Kα x-ray emission spectra of samples from the following systems based on copper monoxide: CuO-Cu, CuO-Cu2O and CuO-MgO. In all these systems, thermal processing results in a paramagnetism which is not observed in the individual components of these systems before they are processed. O spectra of the interface of a Cu-single-crystal CuO film structure indicate the presence of not only Cu2+ but also Cu1+ ions in the layer of CuO in close contact with Cu. Possible reasons for the appearance of paramagnetism in these systems are discussed. It is proposed that a paramagnetic layer at the contact between the antiferromagnetic copper monoxide and the other copper-oxide phases or with copper could be the cause of the impurity metastability observed previously in the high-T c superconducting phase. This paper reports conduction mechanism in a-Sb2Se3 over a wide range of temperature (238 to 338 K) and frequency (5 Hz to 100 kHz). The d.c. conductivity measured as a function of temperature shows semiconducting behaviour with activation energy ΔE=0.42 eV. Thermally induced changes in the electrical and dielectric properties of a-Sb2Se3 have been examined. The a.c. conductivity in the material has been explained using modified CBH model. The band conduction and single polaron hopping is dominant above room temperature. However, in the lower temperature range the bipolaron hopping dominates.  相似文献

The elastic properties of C60 fullerite samples synthesized under pressure P=13.0 GPa at high temperatures were investigated using acoustic microscopy. The velocities of longitudinal (c L=17–26 km/s) and transverse (c T=7.2–9.6 km/s) elastic waves in the samples were measured. It was established that the longitudinal sound velocity of ultrahard fullerites is higher than that of any other known solid. The bulk modulus of these ultrahard samples is higher than that of diamond and reaches a value greater than 1 TPa. The high bulk modulus, the relatively large shear moduli, and the substantial Poisson ratio indicate that the structure of the ultrahard fullerites is fundamentally different from that of diamond. An analysis is made of a two-electron system of two adjacent quantum dots (QD) with a two-dimensional parabolic lateral confining potential, and of two coupled or double, spatially separated QDs (a “horizontal” and a “vertical” QD molecule), and of their behavior in an external transverse magnetic field. The ground-state energies and energy spectra of the system have been determined by various methods (Heitler-London, molecular-orbital, variational approach, and numerical diagonalization of Hamiltonian), with inclusion of electron-electron interaction, and for a broad range of confining-potential steepness, QD-center spacing (interlayer distance), and external magnetic field. An EPR study of donors in 6H SiC crystals with an uncompensated donor concentration (N DN A) of 2×1018 to 1×1016 cm−3 performed in the temperature range 4.2 to 160 K at frequencies of 9 and 140 GHz showed that 6H n-SiC samples have two donor states in the gap. One of them originates from nitrogen occupying three inequivalent lattice sites with ionization energies of 150 and 80 meV, and the second is connected with a structural defect lying deeper in the gap than nitrogen. The temperature dependences of donor EPR line intensities have been found to deviate from the Curie law. The observed EPR line-intensity peaks of donors are produced in a temperature-driven successive redistribution of donor electrons between the donor levels. The temperature dependences of EPR line intensities obtained from samples with low donor concentrations were used to determine the valley-orbit splitting of nitrogen in cubic sites. Fiz. Tverd. To determine the charges of atoms in the lattices of the compounds Tl2Ba2Ca n?1CunO2n+4 and Bi2Sr2Ca n?1CunO2n+4 (n=1,2,3), the parameters of the electric field gradient tensor at the copper sites of the indicated lattices were found by emission Mössbauer spectroscopy on the isotopes 61Cu(61Ni) and 67Cu(67Zn), and a calculation of these parameters was performed in the point-charge approximation. A comparison of the resulting values and the published data on 63Cu nuclear quadrupole resonance showed that agreement between the experimental and computed values of the parameters obtains for models in which the holes resulting from a reduction in the valence of some of the thallium (bismuth) atoms are localized predominantly at oxygen sites located in the same plane as the copper atoms (for the compounds Tl2Ba2Ca2Cu3O10 and Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2Cu3O10—at oxygen sites in the same plane as the Cu(2) atoms).  相似文献
