A liquid chromatographic method was developed for the determination of albendazole and its metabolites albendazole sulfoxide, albendazole sulfone, and albendazole-2-aminosulfone from largemouth and hybrid striped bass muscle tissue with adhering skin. The muscle tissue samples were made alkaline with potassium carbonate and extracted with ethyl acetate. The extracts were further subjected to cleanup by using a series of liquid-liquid extractions. After solvent evaporation, the residue was reconstituted in mobile phase and chromatographed. The chromatography was carried out on a reversed-phase Luna C18 column, using acetonitrile-methanol buffer as the mobile phase. The analytes were detected by fluorescence with excitation and emission wavelengths of 290 and 330 nm, respectively. The average recoveries from the fortified muscle tissue of the 2 fish species for albendazole (25-100 ppb), albendazole sulfoxide (8.75-52.5 ppb), albendazole sulfone (1-10 ppb), and albendazole-2-aminosulfone (10-100 ppb) were 89, 82, 99, and 74%, respectively. The coefficient of variation for each compound was <20% in all cases. The procedure was applied to the determination of albendazole and its 3 metabolites in the muscle tissue of the 2 fish species after orally dosing them with albendazole. 相似文献

The zwitterionic monomer, ethyl 3-(N,N-diallylammonio)propanephosphonate and sulfur dioxide were cyclocopolymerized in DMSO using azobisisobutyronitrile or ammonium persulfate as initiators to afford a pH-responsive polyphosphonobetaine/SO2 (PPB/SO2) copolymer. The polymers, on treatment with HCl and NaOH, gave the aqueous solutions of the corresponding cationic polyphosphononic acid (CPP) and anionic polyphosphonate (APP). The solution properties of the PPB having two pH-responsive functionalities were investigated in detail by potentiometric and viscometric techniques. Basicity constants of the amine and phosphonate groups in APP were found to be “apparent” and as such follow the modified Henderson–Hasselbalch equation. The incorporation of SO2 moiety has resulted in the decrease of basicity constant of the nitrogens in the copolymer by staggering ?2 units of log K in compare to that of the corresponding homopolymer. The basicity difference is expected to have an effect on the chelating properties of the polymers. In contrast to many polycarbo- and -sulfobetaines, the PPB was all found to be soluble in salt-free water as well as in salt (including Ca2+ and Li+)-added solutions. The bridged-ethers, (±)-2-methoxy-9a-carbamorphinan (1b) and (±)-2-methoxy-9a-carba-14α-morphinan(2b) have been synthesized. A series of structurally diverse gold and silver complexes extending from ionic (NHC) 2M(+)Cl(-) (M=Au, Ag) type complexes to large 12-membered macrometallacycles have been prepared by the appropriate modification of the N-substituent of amido-functionalized N-heterocyclic carbenes. Specifically, the ionic, [1-(R)-3-{ N-(t-butylacetamido)imidazol-2-ylidene}]2M(+)Cl(-), (R=t-Bu, i-Pr; M=Au, Ag; 1b, 1c, 2b, 2c) complexes, were obtained in case of the N- t-butyl substituent of the amido-functionalized sidearm while 12-membered macrometallacycles, [1-(R)-3-{N-(2,6-di i-propylphenylacetamido)imidazol-2-ylidene}]2M2, (R=t-Bu, i-Pr; M=Au, Ag; 3b, 3c, 4b, 4c) were obtained in case of the 2,6-di i-propylphenyl N-substituent. These structurally diverse complexes of gold and silver were, however, prepared employing a common synthetic pathway involving the reactions of the imidazolium chloride salts (1a, 2a, 3a, 4a) with Ag2O to give the silver complexes (1b, 2b, 3b, 4b) and which, when treated with (SMe2)AuCl, gave the gold complexes (1c, 2c, 3c, 4c). Detailed density functional theory studies of 1b, 1c, 2b, 2c, 3b, 3c, 4b, and 4c were carried out to gain insight about the structure, bonding, and the electronic properties of these complexes. The NHC-metal interaction in the ionic 1b, 1c, 2b, and 2c complexes is primarily composed of the interaction of the carbene lone pair with the empty p orbital of the metal (5p for Ag and 6p for Au) while the same in the macrometallacyclic 3b, 3c, 4b, and 4c complexes consisted of the interaction of the carbene lone pair with the empty s orbital of the metal (5s for Ag and 6s for Au). The observation of a low energy emission in about the 580-650 nm region has been tentatively assigned to originate from the presence of weak metallophilic interaction in these macrometallacyclic 3b, 3c, 4b, and 4c complexes. 相似文献

The complex framework [Ru(tpy)(dpk)]2+ has been used to study the generation and reactivity of the nitrosyl complex [Ru(tpy)(dpk)(NO)]3+ ([4]3+). Stepwise conversion of the chloro complex [Ru(tpy)(dpk)(Cl)]+ ([1]+) via [Ru(tpy)(dpk)(CH3CN)]2+ ([2]2+) and the nitro compound [Ru(tpy)(dpk)(NO2)]+ ([3]+) yielded [4]3+; all four complexes were structurally characterized as perchlorates. Electrochemical oxidation and reduction was investigated as a function of the monodentate ligand as was the IR and UV-vis spectroscopic response (absorption/emission). The kinetics of the conversion [4]3+/[3]+ in aqueous environment were also studied. Two-step reduction of [4]3+ was monitored via EPR, UV-vis, and IR (nu(NO), nu(CO)) spectroelectrochemistry to confirm the {RuNO}7 configuration of [4]2+ and to exhibit a relatively intense band at 505 nm for [4]+, attributed to a ligand-to-ligand transition originating from bound NO-. 相似文献

In this Letter we investigate the propagation of coupled nonlinear Alfven-spin and helicon-spin waves in a composite medium having the properties of both magnetic and semiconducting materials. We arrive at the nonlinear evolution equations for these coupled waves using the reductive perturbation method for which we obtain soliton solutions. This article reviews the synthesis of polyzwitterions (PZs) (poly-carboxybetaines, -phosphonobetaines, and -sulfobetaines) having multiple pH-responsive centers. The synthesis follows the Butler cyclopolymerization protocol involving a multitude of diallylammonium salts and their copolymerization with SO2 and maleic acid. The PZs have been transformed into cationic-, anionic-polyelectrolytes, and polyampholytes under the influence of pH. Particular attention is given to the application of these polymers as antiscalants, mild steel corrosion inhibitors, components in constructing Aqueous Two-Phase Systems (ATPSs), and membrane modifiers. The ATPSs could be used to separate various biomolecules, including proteins. Many amphiphilic polymers incorporating a few mol % hydrophobic monomers have shown enhanced viscosities and could be suitable for applications in oil fields. The progress of applying Butler cyclopolymerization in reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) chemistry has been discussed. Future works are expected to focus on RAFT cyclopolymerization to construct block copolymers. 相似文献
