Copper(II) forms 1:1 and 1:2 intense red complexes with phenanthraquinone monophenylthiosemicarbazone (PPT) at pH 3-3.5 and > or =6.5, respectively. These complexes exhibit maximal absorbance at 545 and 517 nm, the molar absorptivity being 2.3 x 10(4) and 4.8 x 10(4) l mol(-1) cm(-1), respectively. However, the 1:1 complex was quantitatively floated with oleic acid (HOL) surfactant in the pH range 4.5-5.5, providing a highly selective and sensitive procedure for the spectrophotometric determination of CuII. The molar absorptivity of the floated Cu-PPT complex was 1.5 x 10(5) l mol)(-1) cm(-1). Beer's law was obeyed over the range 3-400 ppb at 545 nm. The analytical parameters affecting the flotation process and hence the determination of copper traces were reported. Also, the structure of the isolated solid complex and the mechanism of flotation were suggested. Moreover, the procedure was successfully applied to the analysis of CuII in natural waters, serum blood and some drug samples.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Condensation of 1-hydrazino-4-phenylphthalazine with D-arabinose, L-arabinose, D-lyxose, and D-xylose gave the corresponding 3-(tetritol-l-yl)-6-phenyl-1,2,4-triazolo[3,4-a]phthalazines (acyclic C-nucleoside analogs). D-Ribose, on the other hand, reacted with the same hydrazine to give the corresponding aldehydo-D-ribo-(4-phenyl-1-phthalazinyl) hydrazone. Catalytic dehydrogenative cyclization of this hydrazone with palladium-on-charcoal affected its transformation into the corresponding triazolophthalazine. Acetylation of the prepared acyclic C-nucleoside analogs gave the corresponding tetra-O-acetyl derivatives, the conformational analysis of which has been studied using proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Results of some biological activities of the prepared compounds are reported.  相似文献

The binary complexes of anhydrous chromium(III) chloride withd(−) tartaric acidl(−) mandelic acids have been characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility, vibrational, electronic and circular dichroism spectra. The magnetic susceptibility data are close to the spin only value for a d3 chromium(III) ion. Three (Cr−Cl) vibrational modes in the region 420–290 cm−1 are observed for the formed complexes indicatingC 2 local symmetry of ligand atoms around the chromium(III) rather thanC 3, which would allow two modes. In the visible spectra, two peaks in the 21052–22222 and 15384–16129 cm−1 range are observed and are assigned to the4 A 2g 4 T 1g (F) and4 A 2g 4 T 2g transitions. The parameters (Dq, B,β 35) place the ligands in the higher end of the spectrochemical series and provide reassurance that the hydroxy acid oxygen complexes to chromium(III) ion. The Cotton effects observed in the spin-forbidden band are assigned to the2 E(2 E g ),2 A 2(2 T 1g ) and2 E(2 T 1g ), while that in the spin-allowed band are a results of the splitting of the4 A 2g (4 T 2g ) to4 A 1(4 T 2g) and4 E(4 T 2g ) transitions. The tartaric acid chelates are likely to befac in terms of ligand carboxylate and/or hydroxy groups since stronger and better defined Cotton effects are observed while mandelic acid chelates are weak suggesting formation of themer structure. A highly selective and sensitive procedure for flotation separation followed by spectrophotometric determination, confirmed by AAS, of Ni(II) traces is proposed. The maximum flotation separation (100%) is achieved at approximately 25 degrees C in the pH range of 1-3 using sodium diethyldithiocarbamate (as a collector) and oleic acid surfactant. The floated (1 : 2) colored complex is measured spectrophotometrically at 430 nm over a concentration range of 0.5-4.0 microg/g with a molar absorptivity of 0.44 x 10(4) L mol(-1) cm(-1). The procedure was successfully applied for the separation and determination of Ni(II) in fresh and sea waters.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new chaotic complex nonlinear system and study its dynamical properties including invariance, dissipativity, equilibria and their stability, Lyapunov exponents, chaotic behavior, chaotic attractors, as well as necessary conditions for this system to generate chaos. Our system displays 2 and 4-scroll chaotic attractors for certain values of its parameters. Chaos synchronization of these attractors is studied via active control and explicit expressions are derived for the control functions which are used to achieve chaos synchronization. These expressions are tested numerically and excellent agreement is found. A Lyapunov function is derived to prove that the error system is asymptotically stable.  相似文献

This paper deals with free vibration analysis of functionally graded thick circular plates resting on the Pasternak elastic foundation with edges elastically restrained against translation and rotation.Governing equations are obtained based on the first order shear deformation theory(FSDT) with the assumption that the mechanical properties of plate materials vary continuously in the thickness direction.A semi-analytical approach named differential transform method is adopted to transform the differential governing equations into algebraic recurrence equations.And eigenvalue equation for free vibration analysis is solved for arbitrary boundary conditions.Comparison between the obtained results and the results from analytical method confirms an excellent accuracy of the present approach.Afterwards,comprehensive studies on the FG plates rested on elastic foundation are presented.The effects of parameters,such as thickness-to-radius,material distribution,foundation stiffness parameters,different combinations of constraints at edges on the frequency,mode shape and modal stress are also investigated.  相似文献

A finite volume model was developed to simulate transient heat transfer in protective clothing during flash fire exposure. The model accounts for the combined conduction-radiation heat transfer in the air gap between the fabric and skin. The variation in the fabric and air gap properties with temperature and the thermochemical reactions in the fabric are also considered. This study investigates the influence of the air gap in protective clothing on the energy transfer through the clothing and hence on its performance. Different parameters that affect the conduction-radiation heat transfer through the air gap such as the air gap absorption coefficient and the air gap width were studied. Finally, the paper demonstrates that an innovative and potentially significant way to improve protective clothing performance is to reduce the emissivity on the backside of the fabric.  相似文献
