In this numerical study, laminar flow of water nanofluid/GNP–SDBS (graphene nanoplatelet–sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate) for 0–0.1% solid nanoparticles mass fraction was investigated for Reynolds numbers of 50–1000 in 3D space via finite volume method. In the newly proposed microchannel design, the cooling fluid is moving in countercurrent in the upper and lower layers of the microchannels, and there are cavities and sinusoidal routes on the solid walls of the microchannel, and the presence of rectangular ribs on the flow centerline along the fluid path enhances mixing for cooling fluid and creates better heat transfer for warm surfaces. The results of this study show that this special design of the microchannel can have a substantial increase in Nusselt number and heat transfer so that in the considered geometry by adding solid nanoparticles mass fraction it is possible to increase average Nusselt number for each Reynolds number by approximately 20%. Also, the mixing of the fluid because of formation of secondary flows has a strong effect on making the temperature distribution uniform in the cooling fluid and solid bed (wall) of the microchannel, especially in the lower layer. The upper layer of the microchannel always has a lower temperature due to indirect contact with heat flux compared with the lower layer. In this study, by increasing Reynolds number and mass fraction of solid nanoparticles the Nusselt number is increased and heat resistance of the lower wall of the microchannel is reduced. Based on the investigation of flow field and heat transfer, the use of the proposed design of the microchannel is recommended for Reynolds number less than 300.

Two new sesquiterpene lactones, rhizantholide A (1) and rhizantholide B (2), together with five known compounds (3-7) have been isolated from the aerial parts of Centaurea rhizantha (Asteraceae). Sesquiterpene lactones belong to guaianolide class, and rhizantholide B is a rare guaianolide characterized by a free primary alcoholic function at C-10 along with a 3β,10β-epoxy function. Their structures have been established on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR experiments, as well as HR-ESIMS. The antimicrobial activity of compounds 1-7 has been evaluated against Gram-positive and Gram-negative strains. Only deacylcynaropicrin 8-O-[3′-hydroxy-2′-methylpropionate] (5) showed moderate antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus with a MIC/MBC value of 500 μg/mL. All isolated compounds have been also evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against cancer cells. Among them, compound 5 showed the highest cytotoxic activity with IC50 values in the range 5.02–16.76 μg/mL.  相似文献

A domino ring opening/cross-coupling reaction of oxiranes with terminal alkynes and aryl iodides has been developed. This transformation serves as a protocol for the synthesis of homo-alkyne ether skeletons from the readily available starting materials. Commonly, acquired resistances to anticancer drug are mediated by overexpression of a membrane-associated protein that encode via multi-drug resistance gene-1 (MDR1). Herein, the mRNA-cleaving DNAzyme that targets the mRNA of MDR1 gene in doxorubicin-resistant breast cancer cell line (MCF-7/DR) loaded on the chitosan β-cyclodextrin complexes was used as a tropical agent. Chitosan/β-cyclodextrin complexes were used to deliver DNAzymes into cancer cells. Determination of the physicochemical characteristics of the particles was done by photon correlation spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The encapsulation efficiency of the complexes was tested by using gel retardation assay. Positively charged nanoparticles interacted with DNAzyme that could perform as an efficient DNAzyme transfection system. The rationale usage of this platform is to sensitize MCF-7/DR to doxorubicin by downregulating the drug-resistance gene MDR1. Results demonstrated a downregulation of MDR1 mRNAs in MCF-7/DR/DNZ by real-time PCR, compared to the MCF-7/DR as control. WST1 assay showed the 22-fold decrease in drug resistance on treated cells 24 h after transfection. Results showed the intracellular accumulation of Rh123 increased in the treated cells with DNAzyme. Results suggested a potential platform in association with chemotherapy drug for cancer therapy and indicated extremely efficient at delivery of DNAzyme in restoring chemosensitivity.

The optical reflectance and transmittance spectra in the wavelength range of 300–2500 nm are used to compute the absorption coefficient of zinc oxide films annealed at different post-annealing temperatures 400, 500 and 600°C.The values of the cross point between the curves of the real and imaginary parts of the optical conductivity ɑ_1 and ɑ_1 with energy axis of films exhibit values that correspond to optical gaps and are about 3.25–3.3 eV. The maxima of peaks in plots dR/dλ and dT/dλ versus wavelength of films exhibit optical gaps at about 3.12–3.25 eV.The values of the fundamental indirect band gap obtained from the Tauc model are at about 3.14–3.2 eV. It can be seen that films annealed at 600°C have the minimum indirect optical band gap at about 3.15 eV. The films annealed at 600°C have Urbach's energy minimum of 1.38 eV and hence have minimum disorder. The dispersion energy d of films annealed at 500°C has the minimum value of 43 eV.  相似文献

We obtain the calculation of coupling coefficient of plasmonic directional coupler made up of two monolayer waveguides separated in the range of 200 nm for TM mode and we assume each waveguides acts as a perturbation to other waveguide but does not affect the waveguide mode. The third-order susceptibility and second-order hyperpolarizability and the two-photon absorption coefficient of Eosin-B in AOT/water/Heptane were investigated by using the Z-Scan technique. The droplets were prepared with an AOT/water droplet in a continuous phase of Heptane. The droplets size changes with the amount of water and the droplet concentration decreases with the increase of Heptane concentration. To study the nonlinear optical properties of Eosin-B, the Z-scan measurements were performed by means of a laser at 532 nm and 80 mW power. The nonlinear refractive and the nonlinear absorption coefficient indices were found to be in the order of 10?12 (cm2 W?1) and 10?7 (cm W?1), respectively. The change of nonlinear optical properties of Eosin-B by droplet size and concentration is due to the change of dye aggregation and thermal conductivity and thermo-optic coefficient of samples. The absorption of Eosin-B changes with the polarity of the medium (dielectric constant and refractive index). It has been shown that the intensity of emission spectra of Eosin-B in AOT/water/Heptane is enhanced compared to that of aqueous solution. By the Bilot and Kawski theory, the ratio between the excited state and the ground state of the dipole moments (μeg) of Eosin-B both in water and in droplets is extracted.  相似文献

Molybdenum disulfide nanoflakes (MoS2) are superior material for their semiconducting properties. For bulk and monolayer MoS2 the band gap changes from indirect-to-direct, respectively. So, it exhibits promising prospects in the applications of optoelectronics and valleytronics, such as solar cells, transistors, photodetectors, etc. In this research, the influence of different Ar flow rates as the carrier gas, is investigated for growing MoS2 nanoflakes on silicon substrates using one-step thermal chemical vapor deposition by simultaneously evaporating of solid sources like sulfur and molybdenum trioxide powders. The structural and optical properties of the obtained nanoflakes are assessed by using X-ray diffraction pattern, scanning electron microscopy, UV–visible absorption, photoluminescence and Raman spectroscopy. It is shown that, Ar gas flow rate is strongly affects on the final products as few-layer MoS2 structures. Moreover, the abundance of MoS2 in comparison to MoO2 and MoO3 structures, in the obtained nanoflakes, is influenced by the Ar flow rate.  相似文献
