Chiral (2R,1′R)-(1′-phenylethyl)aziridine-2-carboxaldimine was utilized as a nitrogen-containing starting substrate for the preparation of various enantiopure nitrogen-containing heterocycles. The additions of nucleophiles including organomagnesium reagents, cyanotrimethylsilane and ketene acetal to the chiral (2R,1′R)-(1′-phenylethyl)aziridine-2-carboxaldimine proceeded in highly stereoselective manner via chelation controlled transition states. Subsequent treatment of adducts with triphosgene and NaH yielded 5-substituted-4-chloromethylimidazolidin-2-ones. This imine was also served as either aza-diene or aza-dienophile with olefin or diene to provide hetero-Diels-Alder adducts 2-aziridinylpiperidines or 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolines. 相似文献

We propose a novel fiber attenuator based on photonic crystal fibers. The difference in the modal field diameters of a conventional single mode fiber and a photonic crystal fiber was used. A new series of stable, unsymmetrical squaraine near-IR sensitizers (JK-216 and JK-217), which are assembled using both thiophenyl pyrrolyl and indolium groups, exhibit a panchromatic light harvesting up to 780 nm. The JK-216 based cell exhibited a record efficiency of 6.29% for near-IR DSSCs. In addition, the JK-217 device showed an excellent stability under a light soaking test at 60 °C for 1000 h. 相似文献

We review the current state of lightwave component and device technology in South Korea, particularly focusing on the recent progress in research, development and implementation in conjunction with a government programme. The plan for the communications infrastructure is being conducted in three stages. The first stage consists of installation of optical fibre cables interconnecting all the cities in South Korea as well as digitalization of the telecommunications networks by 1997. The second stage (1997 to 2001) will make available optical fibre network for CATV to apartment complexes and densely populated areas to provide the subscribers with multimedia services of the future. The third stage of the plan will start in 2002, and will offer broader applications of B-ISDN for user networks supporting broadband local loop. Along with these major projects, our current activities in the three major areas of optical fibre components and devices, microoptics and integrated optics, and optical fibre sensors are discussed. 相似文献

We will present in this work the quantitative analysis of the relationship between the doping concentrations of GeO 2 and B 2 O 3 in the core and cladding regions and the temperature sensitivity of the resonance wavelength shift in long-period fiber gratings (LPFGs). Based on this analysis, the temperature sensitivity was suppressed and enhanced to 0.002 nm/C and 0.28 nm/C, respectively. We will also discuss the effect of the residual mechanical stress on the optical and mechanical properties of LPFGs. In particular, we will present the measurement results of the dependence of the refractive index change and mechanical strength on the residual mechanical stress in the boron-doped fibers with depressed clad and matched clad. 相似文献

We report what we believe to be the first method for nonmechanical and programmable image rotation. The method uses a pair of crossed acousto-optic beam deflectors and a polygon mirror to emulate the mechanical dove prism. It is capable of fast (of the order of microseconds) image rotation to an arbitrary angle in a programmable manner. An experimental result that proves the concept is provided. 相似文献

Pseudorotaxane complexes of squaraine dyes and tetralactam macrocycles are converted into permanently interlocked rotaxane structures using copper-catalyzed and copper-free cycloaddition reactions with bulky stopper groups. The photophysical properties of the encapsulated squaraine depend on the structure of the macrocycle. In one case, squaraine rotaxanes are produced in near-quantitative yields and with intense near-IR fluorescence. In another case, squaraine fluorescence is greatly diminished upon macrocyclic encapsulation but the signal can be restored by dye displacement with anions. 相似文献

Fluorospherands (F‐spherands) are highly preorganized hosts composed of fluorobenzene or 4‐methylfluorobenzene units attached to one another at their 2,6‐positions. To understand the intrinsic factors affecting cation complexation, we investigated the complexation behavior between F‐spherands and cations using density functional theory (DFT) at the level of B3LYP/6‐31G**. The F6‐spherand (C6H3F)6, ( 1 ) has a highly preorganized spherical cavity, which can encapsulate Li+ and Na+. Its cavity is not big enough for K+ and NH, which prefer external binding. Plausible conformations were studied for F8‐spherand (C6H3F)8. Conformer of D2d symmetry ( 2b ) is more stable than that of D4d ( 2a ), in agreement with NMR experiments. The cavity size of F8‐spherand is big enough to encapsulate all cations studied. However, the cavity size of 2b is smaller than that of 2a , which resulted in the guest selectivity. Upon complexation, 2b conformation is more stable for Li+ and Na+, while 2a conformation is preferred for larger cations such as K+ and NH.
