Noise mapping using measured noise and GPS data   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In this paper, we introduce a system to easily produce a noise map using noise and GPS data measured simultaneously. The system consists of a sound level meter, a GPS receiver, a database program to manage the measured data, and a program to produce the noise map including a computer model of the target area. The GPS receiver interfaced to the sound level meter allows simultaneous measurement and storage of the noise level and the global position at a location. The database program directly imports one or more measured data stored in the sound level meter. Then, selected measurement results are exported to the noise mapping program for producing colour-coded or noise contour line maps using measured data at user-defined locations. The noise map produced can be exported to DXF and SHP files with other modeling items, for post-processing in GIS software. To demonstrate the capability of the developed system, we show a noise map for a university campus produced by the system.  相似文献

We measured the evolution of in situ surface stress of Ag thin film during the magnetron sputter deposition. The measurement of force per width of Ag thin film showed that both the surface state and surface stress of Ag layer can be controlled through the variation of the deposition conditions such as the deposition temperature and rate. At room temperature, the force per width curve of Ag film deposited to 1 Å/s showed a typical curve consisting of three stages of surface stress. A brief presence of initial compressive stage and broad tensile maximum resulting in a compressive state had a tendency to disappear with increasing the deposition temperature. Meanwhile, a development of final compressive stage was more at higher temperature. Similar effect was observed but less obvious on increasing the deposition rate.  相似文献

This paper describes a fiber optic sensor suitable for remote sensing and multi-point detection of ultrasound. This ultrasound sensor is based on the surface-bonded fiber optic Sagnac interferometer with the output fringe visibility of 1; it consists of a laser source, an ordinary single mode fiber delay line, a fiber coupler, a phase modulator and polarization controllers. For the validation of the sensor, surface acoustic waves and Lamb waves are excited by illuminating a steel specimen with an array of Q-switched Nd:YAG laser-generated line sources and the measurement of laser-generated ultrasonic waves are performed on the specimen surface using the surface-mounting fiber optic Sagnac sensor. The surface-bonded fiber optic sensor developed in this study has a simple configuration for detection of ultrasonic waves. Effectiveness of surface-bonded fiber optic Sagnac sensors for remote sensing of ultrasound and in situ monitoring of structures is investigated. The capability of multi-point detection of ultrasound by this Sagnac sensor is also discussed.  相似文献

We demonstrate quasi-phase-matched (QPM) second-harmonic generation (SHG) at the optical communication wavelengths with side-chain polymer waveguides. A ridge waveguide structure is designed to support fundamental mode guiding at both the pump and the second harmonics, leading to a high field overlap integral of the guided modes. The nonlinearity contrast in the +/0 type QPM waveguide is maximized under a QPM poling electrode width of nearly half the coherence length. Using these configurations, we record a normalized SHG efficiency of 2.2% W(-1) cm(-2) in the polymer waveguide.  相似文献

We report the observation of the resonant transport in multiwall carbon nanotubes in a crossed geometry. The resonant transport is manifested by an asymmetric peak in the differential conductance curve. The observed asymmetric conductance peak is well explained by the Fano resonance originating from the scattering at the contact region of the two nanotubes. The conductance peak depends sensitively on the external magnetic field and exhibits Aharonov-Bohm-type oscillation.  相似文献

We show that chaotic bursting activity observed in coupled neural oscillators is a kind of chaotic itinerancy. In neuronal systems with phase deformation along the trajectory, diffusive coupling induces a dephasing effect. Because of this effect, an antiphase synchronized solution is stable for weak coupling, while an in-phase solution is stable for very strong coupling. For intermediate coupling, a chaotic bursting activity is generated. It is a mixture of three different states: an antiphase firing state, an in-phase firing state, and a nonfiring resting state. As we construct numerically the deformed torus manifold underlying the chaotic bursting state, it is shown that the three unstable states are connected to give rise to a global chaotic itinerancy structure. Thus we claim that chaotic itinerancy provides an alternative route to chaos via torus breakdown.  相似文献

The reaction of Ir4(CO)8(PMe3)4 with excess C60 in refluxing 1,2-dichlorobenzene, followed by treatment by CNR (R = CH2C6H5) at 70 degrees C, affords a fullerene-metal sandwich complex Ir4(CO)3(mu4-CH)(PMe3)2(mu-PMe2)(CNR)(mu-eta2,eta2-C60)(mu4-eta1,eta1,eta2,eta2-C60) (1), which exhibits an interesting structural feature of two metal atoms bridging the two C60 centers as well as the first example of a mu4-eta1,eta1,eta2,eta2-C60 bonding mode. Compound 1 has been characterized by NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and X-ray diffraction study. A cyclic voltammetry study reveals strong electronic communication between the two C60 centers in 1, which is due to the presence of a wide channel of two metal centers between the two C60 cages for efficient electronic interaction.  相似文献
