Thermodynamic properties of solutions of imidazolidine-2-thione and potassium isopropylxanthate in ethanol and characteristics of individual compounds

The enthalpies of solution of imidazolidine-2-thione and potassium isopropylxanthate in ethanol and their isobaric heat capacity in the range from 173 to (T _{m ? 100}) K were measured by calorimetry at 298.15 K. The standard enthalpies of formation, combustion, and melting of these compounds were estimated.

Macroscopic theory of adhesion in solids

The relations for calculation interaction energies and forces for solids: metals, semiconductors and dielectrics are obtained on dielectric formalism based theory. The results are compared with available ones and can be used as for theoretical strength forces and energies as for Van der Waals-Casimir forces estimations.
