Polyethylene glycol (PEG) molecules act as a reducing and stabilizing agent in the formation of silver nanoparticles. PEG undergoes thermal oxidative degradation at temperatures over 70 °C in the presence of oxygen. Here, we studied how the temperature and an oxidizing atmosphere could affect the synthesis of silver nanoparticles with PEG. We tested different AgNO3 concentrations for nanoparticles syntheses using PEG of low molecular weight, at 60 and 100 °C. At the higher temperature, the reducing action of PEG increased and the effect of PEG/Ag+ ratio on nanoparticles aggregation changed. These results suggest that different synthesis mechanisms operate at 60 and 100 °C. Thus, at 60 °C the reduction of silver ions can occur through the oxidation of the hydroxyl groups of PEG, as has been previously reported. We propose that the thermal oxidative degradation of PEG at 100 °C increases the number of both, functional groups and molecules that can reduce silver ions and stabilize silver nanoparticles. This degradation process could explain the enhancement of PEG reducing action observed by other authors when they increase the reaction temperature or use a PEG of higher molecular weight  相似文献

Two new isomers have been observed in180Os. A high-K isomer withI, K ≧20 and a half-life ofT 1/2=12+4 ns have been established. It deexcites via two transitions into the 18+ level of the yrare band indicating an unusually smallK-hindrance factor. Evidence for an isomer withI, K>16 and a half-life ofT 1/2=41±10 ns was found. A half-life of 17±3 ns was measured for the previously known 7? state at 1862 keV. The decay scheme of the previously known 7? isomer at 1928 keV has been extended and a revised version is presented.  相似文献

We propose a realistic circuit QED experiment to test the extraction of past-future vacuum entanglement to a pair of superconducting qubits. The qubit P interacts with the quantum field along an open transmission line for an interval T_{on} and then, after a time-lapse T_{off}, the qubit F starts interacting for a time T_{on} in a symmetric fashion. After that, past-future quantum correlations will have transferred to the qubits, even if the qubits do not coexist at the same time. We show that this experiment can be realized with current technology and discuss its utility as a possible implementation of a quantum memory.  相似文献

We introduced the gregarious instinct by means of a novel strategy that considers the average effect of the attractive forces between individuals within a given population. We watched how pattern formation can be explained by the effect of aggregation depending on conditions on food and / or mortality. We propose a model that describes the corresponding dynamic and by a linear stability analysis of homogeneous solutions and can identify and interpret the region of parameters where these patterns are stable. Then we test numerically these preliminary results and find stable patterns as solutions. Finally, we developed a simplified model allowing us to understand in greater detail the processes involved.  相似文献

The Schrödinger equation is solved for an A-nucleon system using an expansion of the wave function in nonsymmetrized hyperspherical harmonics. The present approach is based on a formalism developed by Gattobigio et al. (Phys. Rev. A 79:032513, 2009; Few-Body Syst. 45:127–131, 2009; Phys. Rev. C 83:024001, 2011). Spin and isospin degrees of freedom are included; this makes possible calculations with realistic NN potential models. The fermionic ground state is determined by introducing an additional potential term involving the Casimir operator such that the antisymmetric ground state becomes the lowest eigenstate of the A-body system. Results are discussed for 4He with the realistic AV18 NN potential and for 6Li with the semirealistic MTI/III NN potential.  相似文献

We report on low‐temperature photoluminescence (PL) from aluminum oxide (Al2O3)‐passivated c‐Si wafers, which surprisingly exhibits clear signature of the formation of the so‐called electron–hole liquid (EHL), despite the use of excitation powers for which the condensed phase is not usually observed in bulk Si. The elevated incident photon densities achieved with our micro‐PL setup together with the relatively long exciton lifetimes associated with a good quality, indirect band‐gap semiconductor such as our float‐zone c‐Si, are considered the key aspects promoting photogenerated carrier densities above threshold. Interestingly, we observe a good correlation between the intensity of the EHL feature in PL spectra and the passivation performance of the Al2O3 layer annealed at different temperatures. The change in the extension of the sub‐surface space‐charge region that results from the balance between the induced fixed charge in the Al2O3 and the defect states at the alumina/Si interface is at the origin of the observed correlation. This paper deals with the photo-induced fluorimetric determination of the herbicide Fluometuron with the aid of a continuous-flow assembly of the emergent and new methodology known as Multicommutation which was provided with an on-line photoreactor. Maximum fluorescence intensity was observed at basic pH solutions, 1×10−4 mol l−1 NaOH, after 1.4 min of irradiation and being the maximum at λexc 247.0 nm and λem 325.0 nm. The influence of different experimental parameters either chemical (pH, surfactants presence, solvent polarity and temperature) or hydrodynamic (time of photo-degradation, size and number of different segments and flow-rate) was tested. The linear dynamic range was from 0.01 to 4.0 mg l−1 of Fluometuron; the inter-day reproducibility (as R.S.D.) of the slope was 0.001% and 1.7% from the peaks intra-day reproducibility. A large series of potential interferents was studied and finally the method was applied to human urine, soil, formulation and water samples.  相似文献
