The first six-membered gold(III) N^C^N pincer complex was obtained in good yield, under very mild conditions, by transmetalation of [Hg(κC-N^C^N)Cl] (N^CH^N = 1,3-bis(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)benzene, HL(1)) with Na[AuCl(4)]. The X-ray crystal structure of [Au(N^C^N)Cl][PF(6)] showed that the fused six-membered metallacycles each exist in a strongly puckered boat conformation. As shown by the (1)H NMR spectra in various solvents, the same structure is also retained in solution: no inversion of the six-membered metallacycles is observed in DMSO up to 95 °C. This correlates well with a reaction barrier of 17.5 kcal/mole, as determined by quantum chemical calculations. The reactivity of the present pincer complex is compared to that of the analogous 1,3-bis(2-pyridyl)benzene, HL(2), derivative, which has five-membered fused metallacycles. Sharp differences are found in the reactions with phosphines, such as PPh(3) and dppe (1,2-bis-diphenylphosphino-ethane), and with silver salts. Theoretical calculations were carried out on the two pincer complexes in order to try to understand these differences, and we found that the gold-chlorine bond is significantly stronger in the case of the complex containing five-membered metallacyclic rings.  相似文献

Melamine is a toxic triazine, illegally used as an additive in milk to apparently increase the amount of protein. A chromatographic procedure using a C18 column and a micellar mobile phase of sodium dodecyl sulphate (0.05 M) and propanol (7.5%), buffered at pH 3, and a detection set by absorbance at 210 nm, was reported for the resolution and quantification of melamine in liquid and powdered milk samples. In this work, samples were diluted with a SDS solution and were directly injected, thus avoiding long extraction and experimental procedures. Melamine was eluted in nearly 9.3 min without overlapping the protein band or other endogeneous compounds. The optimal mobile phase composition was taken using a chemometrical approach that considers the retention factor, efficiency and peak shape. Validation was performed following the European Commission's indications (European Decision 2002/657/EC), and the main analytical parameters studied were: linearity (0.02-100 ppm; r2 = 0.999), limit of detection (5 ppb), intra- and inter-day precision (R.S.D. <7.6% and <9.7%, respectively) and robustness (R.S.D. <7.4% for retention time and <5.0% for area). Sensitivity was adequate to detect melamine under the safety limits proposed by the US FDA. Finally, recoveries for several milk samples were found in the 85-109% range.  相似文献

Major histocompatibility complex (MHC) genotyping still remains one of the most challenging issues for evolutionary ecologists. To date, none of the proposed methods have proven to be perfect, and all provide both important pros and cons. Although denaturing capillary electrophoresis has become a popular alternative, allele identification commonly relies upon conformational polymorphisms of two single‐stranded DNA molecules at the most. Using the MHC class II (β chain, exon 2) of the black kite (Aves: Accipitridae) as our model system, we show that the simultaneous analysis of overlapping PCR amplicons from the same target region substantially enhances allele discrimination. To cover this aim, we designed a multiplex PCR capable to generate four differentially sized and labeled amplicons from the same allele. Informative peaks to assist allele calling then fourfold those generated by the analysis of single PCR amplicons. Our approach proved successful to differentiate all the alleles (N=13) isolated from eight unrelated birds at a single optimal run temperature and electrophoretic conditions. In particular, we emphasize that this approach may constitute a straightforward and cost‐effective alternative for the genotyping of single or duplicated MHC genes displaying low to moderate sets of divergent alleles.  相似文献

The thiophene hydrodesulfurization (HDS) reaction on γ-Al2O3 supported CoMo, NiMo and NiW sulfide catalysts was compared in order to gain insight into the promoter effect on direct desulfurization (DDS) and hydrogenation (HYD) pathways. Ni-promoted Mo (or W) sulfide catalysts favor the hydrogen transfer reactions relative to CoMo sulfide catalyst, which facilitates the direct route instead. This different performance and also the dependence of the apparent Arrhenius parameters with the catalyst formulation were attributed to the major participation of Mo (or W) edge for the Ni-containing catalysts and S edge for CoMo sulfide catalyst upon the thiophene-HDS reaction.  相似文献

A ligand design is proposed for transition metal nanoparticle (TMNP) catalysts in aqueous solution. Thus, a tris(triazolyl)‐polyethylene glycol (tris‐trz‐PEG) amphiphilic ligand, 2 , is used for the synthesis of very small TMNPs with Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Ru, Pd, Ag, Pt, and Au. These TMNP‐ 2 catalysts were evaluated and compared for the model 4‐nitrophenol reduction, and proved to be extremely efficient. High catalytic efficiencies involving the use of only a few ppm metal of PdNPs, RuNPs, and CuNPs were also exemplified in Suzuki–Miyaura, transfer hydrogenation, and click reactions, respectively.  相似文献

Cooling molecules in the gas phase is important for precision spectroscopy, cold molecule physics, and physical chemistry. Measurements of conformational relaxation cross sections shed important light on potential energy surfaces and energy flow within a molecule. However, gas‐phase conformational cooling has not been previously observed directly. In this work, we directly observe conformational dynamics of 1,2‐propanediol in cold (6 K) collisions with atomic helium using microwave spectroscopy and buffer‐gas cooling. Precise knowledge and control of the collisional environment in the buffer‐gas allows us to measure the absolute collision cross‐section for conformational relaxation. Several conformers of 1,2‐propanediol are investigated and found to have relaxation cross‐sections with He ranging from σ=4.7(3.0)×10?18 cm2 to σ>5×10?16 cm2. Our method is applicable to a broad class of molecules and could be used to provide information about the potential energy surfaces of previously uninvestigated molecules.  相似文献

A fast and selective CZE method for the determination of mizolastine and related impurities is described. Response surface methodology was applied to study the influence of phosphate/triethanolamine (TEA) buffer concentration, heptakis(2,3,6-tri-O-methyl)-beta-CD (TMbetaCD) concentration, voltage and temperature. The optimum conditions were: 105 mM phosphate/TEA buffer (pH 3.0) containing 10 mM TMbetaCD, temperature 19 degrees C and voltage 30 kV. Validation of the method was performed in drug substance and drug product. Robustness was evaluated using a Plackett-Burman design, including pH among the considered factors. Applying the optimal conditions, the nine peaks were baseline separated in about 10 min. The method was applied to the quality control of mizolastine in controlled-release tablets.  相似文献

(−)-Neplanocin F, the natural isomer of a component of the neplanocin family was enantioselectively synthesized starting from d-γ-ribonolactone. The synthetic approach was based on the preparation of a suitable carbocyclic precursor bearing three hydroxyl groups orthogonally protected. The key steps of the synthesis were the regioselective protection of a secondary allylic alcohol over a homoallylic one and the coupling of the nucleobase with a triflate intermediate.  相似文献

Polymer brushes have a large potential for controlling properties such as surface lubrication or wetting through facile functionalization. Polymer chemistry, chain density, and length impact on the wetting properties of brushes. This study explores the use of diblock copolymer brushes with different block length and spatial arrangement of the blocks to tune surface wettability. Block copolymer brushes of the polyelectrolyte [2‐(methacryloyloxy)ethyl] trimethylammonium chloride (PMETAC) with a contact angle of 17° and a hydrophobic block of 1H, 1H, 2H, 2H‐perfluorodecyl Acrylate (PPFDA) with a contact angle of 130° are synthesized by RAFT polymerization. By changing the sequence of polymerization either block is synthesized as top or bottom block. By varying the concentration of initiator the length of the blocks is varied. Contact angle values with intermediate values between 17° and 130° are measured. In addition, by changing solvent pH and in presence of a different salt the contact angle of the copolymer brushes can be fine tuned. Brushes are characterized by atomic force microscopy, Raman confocal microscopy, and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
