The effect of the Reynolds number in a supersonic isothermal channel flow is studied using a direct numerical simulation (DNS). The bulk Mach number based on the wall temperature is 1.5, and the bulk Reynolds number is increased up to Reτ ≈︁ 1000. The use of van Driest velocity transformation in the presence of heated walls has been questioned due to the poor accuracy at low Reynolds number. For this reason alternative transformations of the velocity profile and turbulence statistics have been proposed, as, for instance, semi-local scalings. We show that the van Driest transformation recovers its accuracy as the Reynolds number is increased. The Reynolds stresses collapse on the incompressible ones, when properly scaled with density, and very good agreement with the incompressible stresses is found in the outer layer. We consider the Griffith fracture model in two spatial dimensions, and prove existence of strong minimizers, with closed jump set and continuously differentiable deformation fields. One key ingredient, which is the object of the present paper, is a generalization to the vectorial situation of the decay estimate by De Giorgi, Carriero, and Leaci. This is based on replacing the coarea formula by a method to approximate SBDp functions with small jump set by Sobolev functions, and is restricted to two dimensions. The other two ingredients will appear in companion papers and consist respectively in regularity results for vectorial elliptic problems of the elasticity type and in a method to approximate in energy GSBDp functions by SBVp ones.  相似文献

In a secret sharing scheme, some participants can lie about the value of their shares when reconstructing the secret in order to obtain some illicit benefit. We present in this paper two methods to modify any linear secret sharing scheme in order to obtain schemes that are unconditionally secure against that kind of attack. The schemes obtained by the first method are robust, that is, cheaters are detected with high probability even if they know the value of the secret. The second method provides secure schemes, in which cheaters that do not know the secret are detected with high probability. When applied to ideal linear secret sharing schemes, our methods provide robust and secure schemes whose relation between the probability of cheating and the information rate is almost optimal. Besides, those methods make it possible to construct robust and secure schemes for any access structure.  相似文献

In this article, we consider an augmented fully mixed variational formulation that has been recently proposed for the nonisothermal Oldroyd–Stokes problem, and develop an a posteriori error analysis for the 2‐D and 3‐D versions of the associated mixed finite element scheme. More precisely, we derive two reliable and efficient residual‐based a posteriori error estimators for this problem on arbitrary (convex or nonconvex) polygonal and polyhedral regions. The reliability of the proposed estimators draws mainly upon the uniform ellipticity of the bilinear forms of the continuous formulation, suitable assumptions on the domain and the data, stable Helmholtz decompositions, and the local approximation properties of the Clément and Raviart–Thomas operators. On the other hand, inverse inequalities, the localization technique based on bubble functions, and known results from previous works are the main tools yielding the efficiency estimate. Finally, several numerical results confirming the properties of the a posteriori error estimators and illustrating the performance of the associated adaptive algorithms are reported.  相似文献
