Models of quantum and classical particles on a lattice d are considered. The classical model is obtained from the corresponding quantum model when the reduced mass of the particle m = / #x210F;2 tends to infinity. For these models, the convergence of the Euclidean Gibbs states, when m + , is described in terms of the weak convergence of local Gibbs specifications, determined by conditional Gibbs measures. In fact, it is shown that all conditional Gibbs measures of the quantum model weakly converge to the conditional Gibbs measures of the classical model. A similar convergence of the periodic Gibbs measures and, as a result, of the order parameters, for such models with pair interactions possessing the translation invariance, has also been shown. 相似文献

In order to obtain OH concentration measurements in atmospheric pressure flames from saturated fluorescence signal, we have developed a stationary four-level model. A general relationship between the measured upper state population and the total number density has been derived. The effects of the imbalance between the rotational transfer rates in the upper and ground states is analyzed. We show that in the case of comparable rotational rates, the results of our treatment are similar to the ones obtained with the balanced cross rate model. A set of complementary data which should facilitate absolute OH concentration measurements is also pointed out. 相似文献

The analytic properties of the -function for a Laplace operator on a generalised cone
are studied in some detail using Cheeger's approach and explicit expressions are given. In the compact case, the -function of the Laplace operator turns out to be singular at the origin. As a result, strictly speaking, the -function regularisation does not regularise and a further subtraction is required for the related one-loop effective potential. 相似文献

Phase diversity is a phase-retrieval algorithm that uses a pair of intensity images taken symmetrically about the wave front to be determined. If these images are taken about the system input pupil this is equivalent to a curvature-sensing algorithm. Traditionally a defocus aberration kernel is used to produce the phase-diverse data. We present a generalization of this method to allow the use of other functions as the diversity kernel. We discuss the necessary and sufficient conditions that such a function must satisfy for use in a null wave-front sensor. Computer simulations were used to validate these results. 相似文献

A complete module for single-photon counting and timing is demonstrated in a single chip. Features comparable with or better than commercially available macroscopic modules are obtained by integration of an active-quenching and active-reset circuit in complementary metal-oxide semiconductor technology together with a single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD). The integrated SPAD has a 12-microm-diameter sensitive area and operates with an overvoltage above breakdown adjustable up to 20 V. With a 5-V overvoltage the photon detection efficiency peaks above 40% around 500 nm, and the dark-counting rate is lower than 600 counts/s at room temperature. SCHENBERG is a resonant-mass gravitational wave detector built in Brazil. Its spherical antenna, weighting 1.15 t, is connected to the outside world by a suspension system whose main function is to attenuate the external seismic noise. In this work, we report how the system was modeled using finite elements method. The model was validated on experimental data. The simulation showed that the attenuation obtained is of the order of 260 dB, which is sufficient for decreasing the seismic noise below the level of the thermal noise of the detector operating at 50 mK. 相似文献
