In the current work, using the framework of the formalism found in the Bogolyubov–Born–Green–Kirkwood–Yvon (BBGKY) equations for the distribution functions of particle groups, the effective single-particle potential near the surface of the liquid was analyzed. The thermodynamic conditions under which a sudden opening of the liquid surface leads to high-energy ejection of atoms and molecules were found. The energies of the emitted particles were observed to be able to significantly exceed their thermal energy. Criteria of the ejection stability of the liquid surface and the self-acceleration of ejection were formulated. The developed theory was used to explain the phenomenon of the self-acceleration of gas-dust outbursts in coal mines during the explosive opening of methane traps. The results also explained the mechanisms of generating significant amounts of methane and the formation of coal nanoparticles in gas-dust outbursts. The developed approach was also used to explain the phenomenon of the self-ignition of hydrogen when it enters the atmosphere. 相似文献

Hydrazones based on mono- and bicyclic terpenoids (verbenone, menthone and carvone) have been investigated in vitro as potential biomembrane penetration enhancers. In this regard, liposomes composed of lecithin or cardiolipin as phospholipid phase components with incorporated fluorescence probes have been prepared using the thin-film ultrasonic dispersion method. The mean particle size of the obtained liposomes, established using laser diffraction, was found to be 583 ± 0.95 nm, allowing us to categorize them as multilamellar vesicles (MLVs) according to their morphology. Pursuant to fluorescence analysis, we may assume a reduction in microviscosity and, consequently, a decrease in the packing density of lecithin and cardiolipin lipids to be the major mechanism of action for terpenoid hydrazones 1–15. In order to determine the molecular organization of the lipid matrix, lipids were isolated from rat strata cornea (SCs) and their interaction with tested compounds was studied by means of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. FT-IR examination suggested that these hydrazones fluidized the SC lipids via the disruption of the hydrogen-bonded network formed by polar groups of SC constituents. The relationship between the structure of terpenoid hydrazones and their ability to enhance biomembrane penetration is discussed. 相似文献

The nucleon density at the nuclear periphery has been investigated with two different methods. The first one is the measurement
of the energy shift and the width of antiprotonic X-ray lines. Besides various other nuclides the X-rays from the isotopes
172Yb and 176Yb have been measured very extensively. From these data the absorption widths of six antiprotonic levels and the shifts of
the lowest visible transitions could be determined. The comparison of the experimental intensities of the transitions with
results from calculations of the antiprotonic cascade showed a good agreement. The second method is the determination of the
yield of the annihilation products from the reaction of the antiprotons with nuclei. From this the neutron-to-proton density
ratio at a distance of about 3 fm outside the half-density radius can be determined. This method was extended to short-lived
residual nuclei with a half-life down to 5 s. The experiment confirmed the previously found negative correlation between the
size of the neutron skin and the binding energy of the last neutron. The results have been compared with calculations. For
many nuclei a good agreement was found between experiment and calculation, however for some nuclei measured and calculated
values are at variance.

Control over particle interactions and organization at fluid interfaces is of great importance both for fundamental studies and practical applications. Rendering these systems stimulus‐responsive is thus a desired challenge both for investigating dynamic phenomena and realizing reconfigurable materials. Here, we describe the first reversible photocontrol of two‐dimensional colloidal crystallization at the air/water interface, where millimeter‐sized assemblies of microparticles can be actuated through the dynamic adsorption/desorption behavior of a photosensitive surfactant added to the suspension. This allows us to dynamically switch the particle organization between a highly crystalline (under light) and a disordered (in the dark) phase with a fast response time (crystallization in ≈10 s, disassembly in ≈1 min). These results evidence a new kind of dissipative system where the crystalline state can be maintained only upon energy supply. 相似文献
