The photocatalytic activity of layered perovskite-like oxides in water splitting reaction is dependent on the hydration level and species located in the interlayer slab: simple or complex cations as well as hydrogen-bonded or non-hydrogen-bonded H2O. To study proton localization and dynamics in the HCa2Nb3O10·yH2O photocatalyst with different hydration levels (hydrated—α-form, dehydrated—γ-form, and intermediate—β-form), complementary Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) techniques were applied. 1H Magic Angle Spinning NMR evidences the presence of different proton containing species in the interlayer slab depending on the hydration level. For α-form, HCa2Nb3O10·1.6H2O, 1H MAS NMR spectra reveal H3O+. Its molecular motion parameters were determined from 1H spin-lattice relaxation time in the rotating frame (T1ρ) using the Kohlrausch-Williams-Watts (KWW) correlation function with stretching exponent β = 0.28: eV, s. For the β-form, HCa2Nb3O10·0.8H2O, the only 1H NMR line is the result of an exchange between lattice and non-hydrogen-bonded water protons. T1ρ(1/T) indicates the presence of two characteristic points (224 and 176 K), at which proton dynamics change. The γ-form, HCa2Nb3O10·0.1H2O, contains bulk water and interlayer H+ in regular sites. 1H NMR spectra suggest two inequivalent cation positions. Intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) are proteins that possess large unstructured regions. Their importance is increasingly recognized in biology but their characterization remains a challenging task. We employed field swept Electron Spin Echoes in pulsed EPR to investigate low-temperature stochastic molecular librations in a spin-labeled IDP, casein (the main protein of milk). For comparison, a spin-labeled globular protein, hen egg white lysozyme, is also investigated. For casein these motions were found to start at 100 K while for lysozyme only above 130 K, which was ascribed to a denser and more ordered molecular packing in lysozyme. However, above 120 K, the motions in casein were found to depend on temperature much slower than those in lysozyme. This abrupt change in casein was assigned to an ordering transition in which peptide residues rearrange making the molecular packing more rigid and/or more cohesive. The found features of molecular motions in these two proteins turned out to be very similar to those known for gel-phase lipid bilayers composed of conformationally ordered and conformationally disordered lipids. This analogy with a simpler molecular system may appear helpful for elucidation properties of molecular packing in IDPs. 相似文献

The reaction of a trinuclear polyhydride complex Ru3H5(C5H5)3 with cyclopentadiene, C5H6, has been studied computationally. A mechanism for the experimentally observed selective C-C bond activation is proposed. All three Ru centers participate in various steps of the mechanism. New O-phosphorylated pyridoxal derivatives have been synthesized through the reaction of azomethines with РV acid chlorides. 2-Chloro-2-thioxo-5,5-dimethyl-1,3,2-dioxaphosphinanes and diethylchlorothiophosphate have been employed as phosphorylating agents. Regardless of the nature of the phosphorylating agent, the reaction is regioselective at phenolic hydroxyl group. The structure of final products is determined by the nature of the substituent at the nitrogen atom. If R is alkyl or cycloalkyl group, the products of the reaction represent phosphorylated pyridoxal imines, whereas phosphorylated furopyridines are formed in the case R is aryl substituent. 相似文献

The septet ground state trinitrenes 1,3,5‐trichloro‐2,4,6‐trinitrenobenzene and 1,3,5‐tribromo‐2,4,6‐trinitrenobenzene were isolated in inert (Ar, Ne, and Xe) as well as reactive matrices (H2, O2, and H2O) at cryogenic temperatures. These trinitrenes were obtained in high yields by UV photolysis of the corresponding triazides and characterized by IR and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The trinitrenes, despite bearing six unpaired electrons, are remarkably unreactive towards molecular oxygen and hydrogen and are persistent in water ice up to 160 K where the water matrix starts to sublime off. 相似文献

In this study, we propose a novel optimization algorithm, with application to the refinement of molecular complexes. Particularly, we consider optimization problem as the calculation of quasi-static trajectories of rigid bodies influenced by the inverse-inertia-weighted energy gradient and introduce the concept of advancement region that guarantees displacement of a molecule strictly within a relevant region of conformational space. The advancement region helps to avoid typical energy minimization pitfalls, thus, the algorithm is suitable to work with arbitrary energy functions and arbitrary types of molecular complexes without necessary tuning of its hyper-parameters. Our method, called controlled-advancement rigid-body optimization of nanosystems (Carbon), is particularly useful for the large-scale molecular refinement, as for example, the putative binding candidates obtained with protein–protein docking pipelines. A heterogeneous chemiluminescent (CL) flow immunoassay for DDT was optimized comparing different types of immunoaffinity supports: beads, nylon coils and membranes (membranes HyBondN+). In order to characterize solid immunoaffinity supports two basic immunoassay formats were performed, using (1) enzyme-labeled secondary and (2) enzyme-labeled specific monoclonal antibodies (MAbs). In both formats, hapten DDT5 conjugated to ovalbumin immobilized on solid supports according to the appropriate immobilization procedure, enzyme label (horseradish peroxidase, HRP) and luminescent detection (luminol/H2O2/p-iodophenol) were used. The lowest limit of detection (LOD), 1 nM p,p-DDT, was obtained with a membrane-based flow immunoassay with HRP-labeled specific antibody. Beads and packed tubing were discarded as appropriate supports because of the difficulties encountered for reproducible packing and the occurrence of light scatterring (beads), which seriously compromised the performance and reproducibility of the flow immunoassay. 相似文献

This paper is a review of the authors' publications concerning the development of biosensors based on enzyme field-effect transistors (ENFETs) for direct substrates or inhibitors analysis. Such biosensors were designed by using immobilised enzymes and ion-selective field-effect transistors (ISFETs). Highly specific, sensitive, simple, fast and cheap determination of different substances renders them as promising tools in medicine, biotechnology, environmental control, agriculture and the food industry.The biosensors based on ENFETs and direct enzyme analysis for determination of concentrations of different substrates (glucose, urea, penicillin, formaldehyde, creatinine, etc.) have been developed and their laboratory prototypes were fabricated. Improvement of the analytical characteristics of such biosensors may be achieved by using a differential mode of measurement, working solutions with different buffer concentrations and specific agents, negatively or positively charged additional membranes, or genetically modified enzymes. These approaches allow one to decrease the effect of the buffer capacity influence on the sensor response in an aim to increase the sensitivity of the biosensors and to extend their dynamic ranges.Biosensors for the determination of concentrations of different toxic substances (organophosphorous pesticides, heavy metal ions, hypochlorite, glycoalkaloids, etc.) were designed on the basis of reversible and/or irreversible enzyme inhibition effect(s). The conception of an enzymatic multibiosensor for the determination of different toxic substances based on the enzyme inhibition effect is also described.We will discuss the respective advantages and disadvantages of biosensors based on the ENFETs developed and also demonstrate their practical application. 相似文献

AbstractThe reaction between glutathionylcobalamin (GSCbl), a complex of Co(III)-cobalamin with glutathione, and selenocysteine (Sec) was investigated using ultraviolet-visible (UV–vis) spectroscopy.
