Annealing behaviors of the activation energy for electrical conduction, the optical gap, and the spin density in amorphous Si are investigated. It is found that the Fermi level shifts downwards with the decrease of the spin density, increasing the decay length of the wave function of localized state at the Fermi level. The downward shift of the Fermi level suggests that the localized states in the upper energy region in the gap are annealed out more easily than those in the lower one.  相似文献

Two kinds of paramagnetic defects whose density increases and decreases with temperature have been observed in Ge42S58 glass using ESR technique. The increasing and decreasing defects are interpreted as resulting from Ge dangling bonds with negative and positive effective electron correlation energies, respectively. Unlike usual amorphous semiconductors, Ge42S58 glass contains defects with the effective electron correlation energy whose value ranges from positive to negative depending on environment around the defect. The densities of the defects with the positive and negative values are about 4 × 1015 and 3 × 1017 cm?3 respectively.  相似文献

The alpha inelastic scattering from 24Mg was measured to obtain the isoscalar natural-parity excitation strengths and to search for the α-condensed states. The multipole decomposition analysis for the measured cross sections was performed. The strength distributions for the ${{\Delta}L=0{-}3}$ were successfully obtained and the possible candidates for the α-condensed states around the 16O core were found.  相似文献

A parton shower method for the photonic radiative correction is applied to single W-boson production processes. The energy scale for the evolution of the parton shower is determined so that the correct soft-photon emission is reproduced. Photon spectra radiated from the partons are compared with those from the exact matrix elements, and show a good agreement. Possible errors due to an inappropriate energy-scale selection or due to the ambiguity of the energy-scale determination are also discussed, particularly for the measurements on triple gauge couplings. Double charged pion photoproductions from the deuteron have been studied at Research Center for Electron Photon Science (ELPH), Tohoku University. Tagged photon beams in an energy range of 0.67 ≤ E γ ≤ 1.08 GeV were impinged on the liquid deuteron target. Produced charged particles were observed with the Neutral Kaon Spectrometer2 (NKS2). The γ dπ + π ? d process was clearly separated among the three charged tracks. We obtained the photon energy dependence of the normalized yields of this process.  相似文献

The three moments of inertia associated with the wobbling mode built on the triaxial superdeformed states in the Lu-Hf region are investigated by means of the cranked shell model plus random-phase approximation to the configurations with aligned quasiparticle(s). A single-atom-sized gold wire was successfully observed in real time by a newly developed defocus-image modulation processing electron microscope. Because of phase retrieval processing with spherical aberration correction, the single-atom strand wire was observed with high contrast and without contrast blurring. By carefully looking at the atomic distance, the contrast, and the dynamic behavior of the wire, we recognized that there are two stages of the wire. In the first stage the wire maintained the atomic distance in the bulk crystal, but in the second stage the wire showed the atomic distance of the nearest-neighbor atoms with weaker contrast. The gold wire was rather stable for a few seconds under strong electron beam illumination.  相似文献
