Emission decay times of the new excimer were measured for undoped and perylene doped pyrene crystals. From the decay times obtained, the temperature dependence of the diffusion coefficient of the excimers was deduced by assuming a model in which two electronic states of the new excimer are involved in the energy transfer process. Within this model, it was found that in the upper excimer state the excimers migrated by a hopping process, while in the lower excimer state they migrated as free excimer excitons while undergoing phonon scattering.  相似文献

A series of chiral benzylidene-aniline compounds, 4-alkoxybenzylidene 4′-(2-methylbutyloxycarbonyl)anilines, have been synthesized and their mesomorphic properties are examined. They showed a monotropic chiral smectic C phase in conjunction with enantiotropic smectic A phase, and their chiral smectic C—smectic A phase transition temperatures are around room temperatures. Their spontaneous polarization values are moderately higher than those of DOBAMBC “4-decyloxybenzylidene 4′-amino-(2-methylbutyl)cinnamate”.  相似文献

The effect of electrical conductivity on the domain evolution of semiconducting ferroelectrics is investigated using a phase field model which includes the drift of space charges. Phase field simulations show that the tail-to-tail 90° charged domain wall appears during the domain formation in the semiconducting ferroelectrics at zero field, which is prohibited in common insulating ferroelectrics. Due to the screening of polarization charges, the domain switching takes place through the motion of head-to-head 180° charged domain wall in the semiconducting single-domain ferroelectrics subjected to an electric field. Comparing to the insulating ferroelectrics, the semiconducting ferroelectrics have a lower speed of domain evolution due to the decrease of mobility of charged domain walls. The response of semiconducting ferroelectrics to a mechanical load is also found different from that of insulating ferroelectrics.  相似文献

A pincer‐iridium complex bearing a Lewis‐base‐free X‐type alumanyl ligand has been synthesized. X‐ray diffraction, NMR and IR spectroscopy, as well as XANES analysis confirmed its tetrahydrido‐IrV structure and Lewis acidity at the Al center as supported by DFT calculations. The resulting complex was applied as a catalyst for the transfer dehydrogenation of cyclooctane.  相似文献

We have developed a simple assessment method for the overlap between spheroidal particles, which neither requires the complex manipulation of vectors and matrices that is indispensable in the ordinary methods, nor is based on a model potential. Moreover, we have developed an evaluation method for the interaction energy arising from the overlap of the steric layer coating spheroidal particles. This is based on a sphere-connected particle model, but some modifications are introduced in order to express an appropriate repulsive interaction energy at the deepest overlapping position. We have investigated the phase change in a magnetic spheroidal particle suspension for a two-dimensional system by means of Monte Carlo simulations. In the case of no external magnetic field, if the magnetic particle-particle interaction is sufficiently strong to favour cluster formation, long raft-like clusters tend to be formed in a dilute situation. With decreasing values of area fraction, a chain-like structure in a dense situation transforms into a raft-like structure within a narrow range of the particle area fraction. Similarly, the raft-like clusters are preferred in a weak applied magnetic field, but an increase in the field strength induces a phase change from a raft-like into a chain-like structure.

Highlights of the present paper:
  1. A simple assessment method has been proposed for the overlap between two spheroidal particles.

  2. The particle overlap assessment is free from a complex mathematical manipulation regarding vectors and matrices.

  3. A modified sphere-connected model has been proposed in order to more accurately evaluate a repulsive interaction due to the overlap of the steric layers coating spheroidal particles.

  4. 2D Monte Carlo simulations have been performed to elucidate the phenomenon of a phase change by magnetic spheroidal particles on a material plane surface.

  5. A phase change between a raft-like and a chain-like aggregate structure is able to be controlled by the area fraction of particles and an external magnetic field.

The vapor growth of GaxAl1?xSb was experimentally studied using a closed tube transport technique. In the closed tube process with iodine as a transport agent, GaxAl1?xSb was successfully grown on (111) oriented GaSb substrates at a relatively low temperature. The composition of the grown layer depended primarily on that of the source, and had only a small graded region (<0.5 μm) between the substrate and the epitaxial layer. The growth rate was almost constant irrespective of the growth time, whenever the other growth parameters were unchanged.  相似文献
